Eternal Father
The Dark Lord of the Kainate merely looked upon them and smiled, the soft curling of the lips as the faintest glimmer of bared teeth could be seen peeking out from between. He steepled His fingers, leaning back in His seat as He listened to the impassioned words which flowed to eloquently from those put to trial. Their angers were rightly roused, for this sudden appearance by their most despised of foes had indeed been a shock and a surprise. They believed that the Emperor, Darth Empyrean, would have come to oversee their sentencing, but that had obviously not transpired. What secret machinations were at work here would be entirely unknown to them, but it was obvious some new dynamic existed among the Sith leaders.
"Very well spoken." He leaned forward ever so slightly, a faint hunching of the shoulders. "Enterprising young Sith, driven by ambition, faith, and bound oath. Admirable qualities, all. For it is how we were taught by our forebearers, and they by theirs. It is our way to seek power through any avenue, to pursue it with all our skill and wit." The smile widened ever so slightly, almost imperceivable, but enough that the most observant would see. "You stand accused of treason against the Sith Order, young Sith. Ever have you conspired to undermine it's institutions in the shadows, conspiring with the arch-heathen Darth Ophidia to erode the foundations of our nascent empire before it could bloom."
His eyes settled on Alisteri now, the subject of His withering gaze. "Betrayal of the Order came first, second came the betrayal of your master. Through deception you brought about her downfall and death. Such infidelity of allegiance cannot be ignored. It is the opinion of this chair that all of the Tsis'kaar be brought before the hallowed temple of our ancestors, and their blood spilled in recompense." Death, in other words. But the Dark Lord did not outright proclaim it, for that vicious smile that only grew hid within further declarations. But He stayed His tongue, watching the three below with eager anticipation as to how they would react.
