SOCIAL INFORMATION
  • Hierarchy: Loose meritocracy
  • Membership: Numbering somewhere in the thousands if one were to also include all of the copycats that claim to be part of the Swoop Gang, the Corellia Jumpers, or Jumpers for short, are a mostly non-human swoop gang. Most of the members come from immigrant families and poor neighborhoods. To join the gang itself is easy enough as members are on about every corner in every major city on Corellia and they often hang around the cargo bays of the large starports. However, to distinguish yourself among them one has to do something truly daring, something to prove that one really did have Rocketfuel For Blood as they say. The most common and thus less prestigious way of earning your Jumper tattoo is to escape CorSec on a swoop you customized yourself in oncoming traffic. Though challenges have also included slingshotting around Socorro's Belt, robbing One Sith convoys, and smuggling medicine through CorSec blockades. A Jumper Tat is the Corellia Jumper's equivalent of a Corellian Bloodstripe, and one does not need to necessarily be a full member of the Jumpers to get one, as many Corellian Badasses such as Jorus Merill have been given honorary Jumper Tats (The Jumpers say that if they asked them for it they would give it without a second thought). Kudos to you if you have both.
  • Influence: While Jumper culture has seeped into several copycat groups across the Galaxy, their influence is relatively small and stays within the Corellia System. Some of their leaders have political pull and support from lower classes because they do sometimes provide food, medicines, and even steady honest work for those that are from their neighborhoods. Because of this many of their leaders are often touted as Revolutionaries and leaders among their communities. That being said, there are an equal amount of higher-ups that would rather roll in the credits they bring in from illegal Swoop Racing and smuggling gigs.
  • Climate: Often friendly enough to those from their neighborhoods and communities, they "protect" some of the more well off areas in the slums while sometimes providing work in their chopshops to youth. Some even use their own credits to help fund youth riding and education programs making their actual reputation rather nebulous. They don't much like rich people or CorSec, but are also proud patriots and have been known to work with CorSec and the Corellian government in times of crisis providing invaluable insight and manpower.
  • Reputation: In the slums it depends on how slummy you are. On the low, low end and even up into the mid-range of poverty most members of the Corellia Jumpers are beloved members of the community. However, because the Swoop Gang is so large and has many different chapters, some are also viewed as no better than murderous thugs. In lower middle-class and middle-class neighborhoods too close to the slums they are seen as extortionists, threatening shop owners and local business with "potential damages" if "protection" is paid for. CorSec hates them, but excepts them as a daily part of the job with some members even acting as informants on more dangerous groups and more serious crimes. Some higher-ups in various chapters have even gained political support, claiming Swoop Racing is just another part of Corellian life and touting needs for reforms in order to help lower income citizens and dock workers. Their reputation with other Swoop Gangs is always poor. As one of the larger Swoop Gangs in the Corellia System they are considered big rivals and often get into blaster fights, Swoop Melees ending in thousands of credits of collateral damage and sometimes even civilian death. Most parents are wary of them, no matter their situation and most children adore and idolize them as the "Space Cowboy" figure of their innocent gaze.
  • Rules: Don't Steal From Another Jumper. Give When You Have Excess. Never Interrupt a Swoop Race.
  • Doctrines: Three simple rules, however they are interpreted, are present within the Corellian Jumper's own code of honor. Never steal from another Jumper, give when you live in excess, and never interupt a Swop Race. While these things are stretched pretty thin in everyday life, most Corellian Jumpers follow the first and last tenets pretty to the letter.
  • Goals: Have fun, get rich, and burn rocketfuel.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION
Starting around the end of the Gulag Plague, the Corellian Jumpers began as a small Swoop Gang made up entirely of Quarth. They hid behind the increasing tensions between poor dockworkers and Corellian citizens, often times protected as "lost youth" by various political groups. Most groups of Corellian Jumpers gave jobs to low income kids as mechanics and were very much a part of the low income communities across the planet. However as more people began to return to the planet their nunmbers began to swell and began to include other species such as Twi'leks, Glaucus, Rodians, and humans. Some human leaders wanted to bring back the old Swoop Gang wars that used to dominate the night skies of Coronet city and began increasingly violent races and hit and runs. Eventually a combination of being protected by high-profile politicians and their incredible Swoop skills keeping them out of the hands of CorSec agents the Corellian Jumpers would perform one of the greatest bank heists in Corellia's history, hitting several of Corellia's biggest banks simultaneously around the planet. It was then that they and other Swoop Gangs finally began to be taken seriously as a threat to the planet's stability as a whole. It was also around this time that saw their membership surge again, making any sort of truly unified front impossible. The group split into several chapters, each with their own ideas and styles but all Jumpers at the end of the day. Now they are one of Corellia's largest Swoop Gangs and one of CorSec's biggest headaches as their operations have increased from illegal Swoop Racing and extortion to drug trade, smuggling, and illegal gun running.

Yeah just link that please. If it's a logo designed for a game it would probably be difficult to track down the original artist, but as long as you link to the wiki it will at least credit the concept design team.
