"Ma'am," Cobra walked itno Armant's office, which was, as usual, a hive of holofeeds.
"Cobra, my man!" Amy siad with a chuckle. "How's the infodumps on the South Systems Expo? I'm getting mroe feeds than even I can follow. This is insane."
Cobra nodded. "There's beern a bounty. On the Republic."
Amy looked up from her screen for the first time in several hours. "The entire Republic?"
"Sort of," Cobra said as he handed a datapad to the former Vigo, now a mercenary of sorts. "The Republic has begun seizing and nationalizing corporate assets. And debuted a clone army recently."
Amy stared at the nubmers on this datafeed. "Contact Irani. Send a missive to ATC and Tenloss. The Firm of Ash, Welqzana, and Pembrooke is now on this case, and intends to set-up a montary fund for consultancy. Send ti both of them with directions on how to send money or resources."
"Ma'am, what should I really to Mr. Irani?"
"Send him a copy of the bounty and my letter, add the tagline in the encryption: 'Never let a crisis go to waste.' If I know that handsome twerp half as well as I"d like to think, he's already got an angle in this, and he should know we're willing to help, albeit for decent hazard pay," she said with a grin.
Well, then, it was time for the hero of Nar Shadaa to come back and take a swing at all of this. She had remembered the last time the republic and the Jedi started crushing the Suns, for no known reason. She had always hoped that with some patience, the shoe would be on the other foot, and that foot would land on some necks. She smiled darkly. Someone else in the room might have said her eyes flickered red for a moment. She smiled. It was time.
