SPECIAL FEATURES
  • Uniforms are unisex and maroon red jackets denote officers, while navy blue jackets denote enlisted personnel; trousers and service boots are black and identical regardless of rank. Rank insignia is worn on the left side of the high collar; each button bears the insignias of the five branches within the Corps of Discovery, with the wearer’s particular branch depicted on the neck button.
  • Gold stripes (1.27cm wide) on the sleeves denote time in service, with each stripe denoting 3 years of active service.
  • Uniforms are tailored to provide ideal fit to wearers, allowing for comfortable long-term wear in various circumstances.
  • Uniforms offer excellent protection against blasters, kinetic damage, lightsabers (and lightsaber-like weapons), acid (and other corrosive materials), and the elements, being resistant to UV radiation, moisture, humidity, extreme temperatures (-10 to 40 standard degrees), and mold/fungus/stains/odors.
DESCRIPTION
Designed to be functional and classically-styled uniforms, suitable for dress functions and usual duties as well (except where specialized uniforms are needed, i.e. flight suits, tactical gear, medical scrubs, etc.), each uniform is tailored to every individual wearer. Their distinctive designs, while subtle and simplistic, allow observers to denote the wearer’s time in service, status as an officer or enlisted personnel, rank, and branch at a glance. The uniforms are protective and resilient against various kinds of damage, environmental conditions, and durable against wear and tear.

Much of the garments protective qualities were made possible through the use of Vanir Technologies' innovative VT-Lattice Cloth, which had recently become available, giving them notable protective capabilities against a host of potential threats.

Consisting of a high collared, double-breasted jacket, either navy blue or maroon red, worn with straight-leg black trousers and knee-high riding-style boots., the design is simple and functional, enabling wearers to operate without encumbrance or difficulty. Incidentally, colors for officers and enlisted (Maroon Red and Navy Blue, respectively) combine to form purple, the color of the Confederacy.

[member="Vigil Rostu"] As of this post, made 23 December 2018 by Alric Kuhn, all Vanir Technologies products are considered open-market, HERE. (#230 in thread) Also, thank you for reviewing this, I appreciate your time and effort.

Lastly, why would Vanir Technologies be needed as co-manufacturer when the item used is (now) considered open-market and available to use? I ask for clarification, not to be contrary, as I make a lot of subs and this information might be useful going forward. Thanks again!

Thank you for the information. That will be fine.

Secondly, Because it was made by a different writer, at a different iteration of the factory, as well it was specifically made by a Chaos-canon company, it will need to be listed as a benefactor in some shape or form.

[member="Visanj T'shkali"], Linking the company as a Manufacturer is all that would be required. No other mention is necessary, but if you wish to add that in, you are more than welcome to do so.
