Coruscant Cantina: The Velcro Light (Open RP)

Thraxis would come to a quick stop, hearing his comrades voice he would forget about the package in his arms and [member="Fletcher Lorcan"] would fall out of them, Thraxis would look down, his eyes widening, "Crap, hope the buyer doesn't mind that the product is a bit bent." he would quickly bend down, hoisting him back over his shoulders, waiting for @Paislee Armande to catch up, readying one of his blasters and standing guard at the door just in case cover fire needed to be presented.

Paislee shook her head and couldn't help but laugh. She jogged over to Thraxis and kept his pace. "Right, so we've resorted to kidnapping kids again, eh? What's the price?" she asked, having not been in the job very long. She took out her blaster to cover Thraxis since his hands seemed pretty full.

[member="Thraxis"] [member="Cadan Tazi"] [member="Flannigan Mcnash"]

Thraxis would shrug, "Dunno, just escaped me once. No idea what to do with him, I mean, we could try experimenting." a wry grin would grow over his face, his eyes beaming with joy, "But that is future prospects, right now, we just need to make sure we don't kill him or let him use his force stuff on us, that will become real troubling if he starts doing hundreds of backflips at once." looking around he would check to see if [member="Flannigan Mcnash"] or [member="Cadan Tazi"] were out of the Velcro Light yet.

Cadan would emerge, thanks to Paislee, his DL-18 would be holstered. "Already got one bounty tied up in the ship, guess I could move him to make room for the Jed." Cadan would pull a cigar from his top pocket, and light it, the grey plumes of smoke would escape from his mouth as he exhaled, it would be obvious to The Jackals that he had picked up this habit from Flannigan.

He's glance would fall onto Paislee, so young and full of life. "Away for the fighting and here for the money it would seem." A small smile would slide across his face, the cigar sitting inbetween his lips.

Paislee smirked and held her gun in her other hand whilst she jabbed Thraxis in the side gently with her elbow. "I like your style." she said, walking slightly ahead to cover him. "Oh yeah? and how do you plan on doing that? You're not a force user and I know what you lot are like with killing people." she chuckled. "Unless you have a few creds spare or a force supression thingy."

She winked at [member="Cadan Tazi"] and put her hand out for a cigar, though she doubted he would give her one. "You know it." she walked backwards, facing the pair.

[member="Thraxis"] [member="Flannigan Mcnash"]

Cadan would shrug passing on the cigar, a trail of smoke followed the cigar. "I've got plenty more where that one came from sweety." He'd reach into his top pocket again, drawing another cigar and place it between his lips.

"Ah. Thraxis, we'll make some credits out of this yet." The leg's contracted, the sound and buzz of piston and gear rotating, and than snapping in a mechanical groan. It was built of angular durasteel plates, round gear like wheels escaping the lapses in the plates, its angular mask swivelling from side to side in a surreal display of cybernetics. "So good of you to join us young Paislee."

It was one of the Jedi, who had made his cybernetic overhaul possible. And he'd just love to pay young [member="Fletcher Lorcan"], back for that that, no good deed goes unpunished.

"Ok then, this has been a good haul, a bounty and a young Jedi, though we best be off, unless we feel like getting some military grade equipment." he would say, slowly starting to walk away from the situation, "So, which way to the ship?" inquiring, not really aware of where he currently was.

Paislee held the cigar between her fingers and looked over her shoulder at the others. "So what's the plan with the prisoners? Can you get a bounty for the other one?" she asked, referring to the one back at the ship. She smiled at Flannigan and inclined her head.

"Uhm, this way I think.." she said uncertainly, as she led the way to where she assumed the ship was.

"Then that way we go!" ignoring the last part of the sentence, trying his best to appear confident, though in this alone he did not feel confident in. "Well come on you lot! Let the money roll in!" he would say, trying to sound discreet as to not attract the incoming reinforcements.

Scene

The long slender length of metal burst from the sky, its wings cutting through the surrounding clouds like a hot knife through butter taking large gauges out of the now swirling vapour. It was rounded with panels of light, its head was built off geometric shapes with squares boxes as heads, and with that the long slender craft landed. The doors opened with a metallic groan opake clouds rose from open exhaust pipes, leaving a noxious cloud in the area.

Character
"In the ship." he'd move across climbing the gang way. "We're leaving."

"You seem pretty eager, I mean considering you're not carrying the lightest of loads." she said jokily to [member="Thraxis"] before jogging after [member="Flannigan Mcnash"] and to the ship. "Great, so what's the plan?" she asked no one in particular. Paislee found it enjoyable to work with the Jackals, you never knew what you would come across with them. Though she wouldn't exactly say they always got on, but everyone has their differences. "Well we're already doing better than I would have. When I worked solo, I probably would've accidentally killed one of the bounties by now." she said, following close behind Flannigan but speaking up to the others.

Fletcher began to wake up, feeling disorientated from the punch. He put a hand to his head before coming to his senses and realising what was happening, or at least half of what was happening. After he realised he was moving, he grabbed onto the nearest thing, which happened to be [member="Thraxis"], and held on tightly, not entirely aware of the situation yet.

Thraxis would feel him tugging at him, looking at him he sighed, "Damn it, awake already." Not waiting for his response he ran to the closest wall and flung [member="Fletcher Lorcan"] at it, pulling out his sonic pistol and firing a dozen or so rounds, making sure that he wouldn't wake up, nor be able to use his force to ruin what has become quite a profitable adventure.

"Yawn"... This was all the former nobleman could say in this situation, simply sitting in a booth with his feet on the table. He's clearly had a long day and thought no fights would happen here, but alas, he was wrong. Oh well, he can't really do much about it from his location as his pistols were still holstered and he was simply trying to relax in a bar.

Thraxis would yell, "WAITING IS FOR THE WEAK!" drawing his arm back, he would do a half spin, before releasing to gain some momentum, before he would throw the boy at the wall with great force. As he looked at the boy, "Oh, now that I think about it, you could be faking." as he finished his sentence he would draw a sonic pistol, begging to release a volley of sonic blasts at the boys eardrums.

"and there's the Thraxis we know and... um tolerate." she laughed, doubting anyone actually loved him. Paislee jumped onto the ship and waited for Thraxis, not bothering to help him.

Thraxis would look at his handy work, "Hmmmm... Hey, he might need medical attention." he would say, picking him up with no real concern for his health, despite what he said earlier. Beginning to break into a sprint, only now realising that any minute now that he could be blindsided by the reinforcements.
