Coruscant: Walk Softly

Zev Stargo

Zev watched quietly as his Jedi "friend" walked out with his apprentice. He smiled, looking at the holodisk on the table, finally he had what he wanted. He grabbed the disk and shoved it in his pocket, his cigar still hanging in his lips. He went on smoking, when the man from the corner walked up and sank down into the chair that Darron had previously occupied.

"I understand you're a man who can get things done around here. I also understand that you need something.
"I need something too."

Zev looked at the sith almost uninterestedly, his Cigar burning in the dark of the restaurant "I am a busy man, I am certain you understand that predicament." Stargo , if took the cigar from his mouth and tapped some ash into the tray on the table "So, if you wish to conduct business, I suggest you talk fast." Zev replied, his head slightly nodding to the Jedi who had just entered.

"You need Tegaea Alcori, and I need a way off world. If you can get me that, I will find Alcori for you. The Jedi wouldn't do that. They don't believe in turning over the innocent. Whether or not she is doesn't matter if the Jedi sees no fault in her." He hoped that would convince the man.

Stargo chuckled a deep chuckle in the back of his throat "And I am supposed to trust a Sith over him? Both of you are so eager to convince me that your side is right. I know his side is wrong and everyone knows your side is." Zev took one last puff on his cigar, placing the dying stick into the ash tray "I do apologize Master Sith, but I am afraid that I could not get involved with such a large enemy of the Republic when I am already a wanted man." With that Zev quickly shot to his feet and ran for the stairs "Someone help me, help me he's a Sith! Sith! Help he's trying to intimidate me!" His act was flawless, his screams so real as he charged down the stairs. Explaining talking to a Jedi was easy, but having a conversation with a Sith was another matter. If he was to cast suspicion away from himself the ruse would need to begin now.
