Crashing

She leaned against a wall as she watched the Mandalorian girl finish cooking. "They always say that cooking is an art," she told her. "Just like painting on a canvas or writing a poem. It takes true creativity to come up with something new and original, and yet the same tried and true tastes we've kept for millennia are still just as appreciated today as they were back when they first hit the eager taste buds of their creator." She looked away for a moment, raising her brows and pursing her lips. "Not this artist. I'll leave the cooking to you, eh? I always get my food delivered or made for me, I don't see any reason to add chores for myself now."

At the mention of a sauna, Helly's interest was piqued. A Mandalorian with laced bread and a sauna in her ship... Perhaps Helly had misjudged Cynthia. Perhaps she did understand a good time. "If I wasn't in desperate need of a bath, I'd take you up on the sauna. I'm no stranger to being grungy like this, but if I don't need to impress a stadium full of hard rock fans, then this girl likes to be clean..."

As the bath was being prepared, she could feel her heart begin to race. Out in the woods, she was the one initiating. Here, she was a guest in someone else's home, and it was her first time seeing that home. This was Cynthia's element, her home field advantage.

Sliding out of her overshirt to reveal the crop top underneath, she held her hands out and embraced one of Cynthia's, a warm smile washing over her face, partly due to the baked goods. "I wanna take a bath with you. I wanna hold you while we're in the water, and I wanna relax like that..." The crop top came off, thrown to the floor in what was quickly becoming a trail of clothing.

As Cynthia finished her toastie she would listen to Helly talk about her perspective. In a way Cynthia could agree with her view and was a beautiful one at that. "Well I'd be delighted to cook for you. Although I will admit, most my food is pre-made meals... Still what I cooked but I just freeze them to save time. Also helpful when I'm a little to blazed to actually cook." She said with a giggle. Cynthia watched Helly finish her food till finally she gave a reply to what she preferred. "Bath it is then... I'll go get it started." Cynthia said trailing off towards her on suite bathroom. Although before she went on in She'd take off her armor till most of her flesh was exposed to the cool air.

Walking into the bathroom she turned the tap letting hot water rush out and adjusted the cold so it wasn't to hot to get into. Steam slowly filled the room up just as the bath also filled. Her eyes followed Helly as the woman walked into the room watching her intensely, mesmerised by her beauty. As Helly hand's took her own the expression on Cynthia's face became submissive and only highlighted by her white skin getting red in the cheeks, the pounding in her chest coursed through her entire body. She was lost, in the sparkle of Helly's eyes. A place she wanted to find herself every day. It was early days for that still. Yet Cynthia had finally found someone she was attracted to and they was attracted to her. The concept of love right now was confusing. Was this it? Is these feeling of blissful joy, safety, affection, happiness and passion everything that came with love. If it was love she felt already — then she wanted this to last, to be something.

"I'd love that." She said so softly before letting Helly's hand slip away so she could undress. Cynthia did the same dropping her last item of clothing and reached over to stop the taps. Her toe dipped into the water before submerging her leg in followed by the second. Turning around Cynthia smiled as she sat down and her finger moving back and forth beckoning Helly to get in too.

Holding her bra by just the strap as it dangled on the edge of her finger, Helly bit her lip as she gave a knowing smile to the girl already bathing. As she let the last of her clothes drop to the floor, she made her way closer and leaned down to give Cynthia a kiss before entering herself.

tK3ytN7.png
Helly was comfortable. She didn't normally feel so comfortable in someone else's home, but she did this time. In just a bathrobe, Helly sat in Cynthia's lounge with her feet curled up on the couch watching as her host made them both drinks.

"I should warn you," she said softly. "My taste in shows is... a little bland. I get so deep and weird when I'm writing music, I usually just like to take it easy and uh... recharge when I watch something. Some gay sitcoms here, some kid's cartoons there, and cheesy dramas abound. I hope you're not too much against watching some gay media, all things considered..." She smiled, but then gave it a bit more thought.

She would sometimes take for granted how many girls she had been with over the course of her career, but she knew from experience that it wasn't a common experience. Before she was famous, she only ever had a couple experiences with other women. Cynthia could have been anyone. She could have resisted her advances instead of making the leaps and bounds with some of her words... She felt something there for the Mandalorian, but she still couldn't be sure what it was. It was still so early on, but she couldn't help but wonder if something more serious could come of this. If she would actually let something serious come of this...

"Am I the first girl you've been with?" she asked, her inflection nothing but curious and inquisitive. "I sometimes forget that not every girl desires this sort of thing."

... Steamy scenes...

4wDpEF0.png

Every part of her body felt relaxed like never before. There was no tension no aches or pain. Cynthia could swear that woman indeed have magical hands. She stood behind the small bar in the room making a spiced margarita mix she had made into a tall bottle. It was sweet and had a small kick to it. It was a drink she normally drank alone since the vast majority preferred the hard ale that could be mistaken for engine fuel. Really Cynthia preferred the drinks that had flavors to them. As she shook it the Ice would rattle inside till finally she strained the liquid out that came out pink.

As she walked over with the two coned glass she would hand one to Helly as Cynthia found herself sitting close to her. Even though there was lots of space she could have sat, she wanted to be close to her. "I'm fine with what ever. I tend to watch anything that isn't pure testosterone filled. You know shows aimed for just men." She said rolling her eye's. "So yeah put what ever on." She wasn't fussed by what was on, her attention was somewhere else. Taking a small sip of her drink she reached over to the table then lent back again resting her head onto Helly's lap.

The question that Helly asked caught Cynthia slightly off guard. Shuffling onto her back to look up to the woman she stayed silent for a moment. "No you're not." Her voice carried regret in the tone. "My first and only times... I was used. Even though I fell for them I assume they saw me as nothing more than an object to have their way with." Cynthia shuffled back around so Helly could no longer see her face. Tear's ran from the corner of both eyes having to think about it. "It got to a point where I felt so alone and useless that a few months ago I tried to... you know. Take my own life, almost succeeded too." Cynthia's head turned further towards the woman's leg. "Ginnie helped me though a lot of what I was going through. My runi vod, soul sister. Yet till now those feelings of been alone stayed with me."

"Since meeting you... I've not felt alone and well this just feels right and honestly..." she said pausing her words. "I like you." Cynthia mumbled quietly as if to nervous to say it aloud.

Helly brushed her hand along Cynthia's face, affectionately pushing the pink hair from her eyes as she spoke.

"I know what it's like to be used," she admitted with a hushed tone. Even though she had a perfect opportunity to come out to this woman about what she was, she withheld that information just like she had done countless times before. Everything about her sister, her father, her innards... She wasn't ready, not yet. "Hell, I've written some songs about it... And I know what it feels like to be an object to someone... I know I can't fix what happened to you, but what I can do is assure you that you're in good company right now. They can't hurt you here. And... Cynthia..." she said playfully. "I like you too..."

She reached for Cynthia's hand, raising the back of it to her lips for her to gently kiss. Still holding onto her hand, Helly continued to gaze into the eyes of the girl resting in her lap, a warm smile across her face. Even she wasn't entirely sure what she meant to convey to Cynthia with that look, but it felt right, and Helly always followed her feelings.

It was easy to see her face had become bright red like the lava of Sullust, her heart was beating against her chest with such force all because of four words. After Helly's soft lips kissed that back of Cynthia's hand she would roll and their eyes locked in an embracing gaze. Her mind seemed to have stuck onto Helly saying, "I like you too." Both eyes was a little wet from her tears that had stopped all because of her. There was nothing that she could think to say and she wanted to so it didn't seem quiet yet the silence was in some way welcoming. The film played on in the background but in this moment, there was just the two of them. a Coruscani woman who was an idol to many and a Mandalorian that was no one special. Her free hand pushed against the cushion of the sofa pushing her self up enough to kiss with such passion. As her other hand became free it would replace the other so it could caress the woman's cheek.

It was the language Helly spoke most fluently, that of lips and tongues, and she was more than happy to speak it with those who were understanding of the way she used it. [member="Cynthia Solus"] was an unfamiliar creature in this galaxy, which spoke volumes. A warrior so expertly trained in war and tracking, capable of such brutal feats, and yet hiding behind the armor was a vulnerable girl, dealing with loneliness and personal desires. Even if Helly could always have someone with her wherever she went if she chose to, she knew of loneliness. The only difference she experienced when she was around others was that she would have to hide how lonely she felt.

In a world unto their own, somewhere far away from home with this Mandalorian woman pressed against her lips, that loneliness waned ever so slightly. Even if she hadn't told her everything, even if she was a human and couldn't relate to her on a biological level, she still felt comfortable with this organic girl, like she could at least be honest with her feelings, if not her true identity.

After breaking from the kiss momentarily, Helly opened her eyes to look at Cynthia's, starting to giggle and show the crooked teeth behind her lips. She would continue wordlessly gazing at her with hands slowly running up and down her back, keeping her close as the light of the movie that was playing in the background giving her all she needed to see Cynthia's beauty.

Perfection was something that was impossible to achieve. No one was exempt from this, and both of them had imperfections but they also had their good Qualities. It's what made them totally unique, and so far Cynthia loved everything about her, the good and the bad. The mandalorian woman moved back to resting her head on Helly’s leg smiling. She would guide one of the woman's hands up to her chest, specifically over where she'd be able to feel the fast pounding of her caring heart. "It's like it's trying to burst out of my chest." She giggled that died into a silence again. "So... Is there anything you'd like to know about me?"

The pink haired mandalorian woman wanted to know all there was about [member="Helly Reyne"], so it was likely she'd want to know things about Cynthia too. Still even now her mind was stuck on those four words making her feel all giddy inside. What she can't believe is how fast she was falling for Helly. The woman was far from everything she knew. Helly was exciting, beautiful and even kind to her, she was also different in the best of ways. There was no ignoring the desires to embrace everything the Coruscani woman had to give. Nothing was more clear to Cynthia that she wanted Helly, to be apart of her life and change it in new wonderful ways.

Helly leaned back in the couch as she gathered her thoughts, one hand caressing Cynthia's arm.

"This may be more important than it sounds..." she warned. "What kinda music you listen to? If we keep hanging out in the future, I should hope you're into pop punk... Hartlite's kinda known for that. We've got harder songs, poppier songs... Hell, we've got synth-pop in there, too."

She snorted a bit, adding, "We're, uh... known as a bit of a teenager's band. Half of our fans are adults, but... when you're known for a certain genre, you get lumped in with the kiddos of the galaxy."

Pushing her lips to one side of her face in thought, she decided to tack on an additional question. "Ever been to a live concert?"

[member="Cynthia Solus"]

[member="Helly Reyne"]

Cynthia smiled. Out of all the questions she could have lead with Helly sort of supersized her with music taste. "Well pop rock, pop punk, rock, a little bit of metal, electronic, instrumental, acoustic, orchestral from time to time. You know guess you could say i have a taste for everything... except pop boy bands and well most of the pop music that is churned out. Honestly, I prefer my songs with emotion that has been written by someone who is in the band." She said giggling as her face nuzzled against the woman's belly. "And no I have never been to a concert maybe one of your's could be my first?" Shifting a piece of the gown out the war with the tip of her nose Cynthia would kiss the soft warm skin.

"My turn." Cynthia said coyly "Would you like to... uurrmmmmm, go on a date... with me?" Even now after they had bonded in the closest of ways in her eyes she still felt nervous asking such a question. "Like somewhere nice for a fancy meal, a joyride on a speeder bike through a city or you know something like that." She was not sure entirely what this woman's likes was but getting to know someone was always the best part for Cynthia because she understood that people was always changing. She had observed from the outside looking in at the galaxy for a long time. Even though the mandalorian girl lacked people skills it didn't stop her fascination to watch them.

Helly raised a brow as she nodded along with the music preferences. "I noticed you didn't include country," she said with a slight sway of her head at the mention. "Don't get me wrong, I'm a rocker at heart, but... sometimes ya just gotta get the feelin' fer the rougher side o' the galaxy, y'hear?" She laid on her accent as thick as possible, a freeing, if not slightly humiliating experience whenever she did so. "Ya make friends with the good ol' farm boys n' girls and ya grow up talkin' like 'em." She cleared her throat, then giggled with her mouth shut for a moment, a big grin on her face as she looked at Cynthia. "I learned to take on a more common accent as an adult. More common to Coruscant, anyway."

She listened to the woman's request, feeling her cheeks flush just the slightest bit. It took a lot to make Helly blush, but she was too shameless to ever hide it. Emotions were important, both in music and in art, but there were so many more places for emotion to shine. Like when a girl asks you out on a date.

"We can go to my homeworld," she said. "It's in a bit of an upheaval lately, what with the whole Coruscant First thing, and... being the heart of the Galactic Alliance and all. But I'll show you around... treat you to a fancy restaurant... It's not like it's all burned down since the last time I looked." She chuckled a bit. "I guess that's my way of saying yes. I'd... love to go on a date with you."

Leaning her head back a little into the cushion behind her, she added, "At some point in this date I'm gonna sing you country, though. I'm giving you time to prepare for that now so you'll be ready because, I know, I'm gracious like that." She squeezed Cynthia's hand. "I'd sing for you now, but I am so not in the mood to sing country. Be thankful you were shown such mercy, not everyone is so lucky..."

Cynthia giggled at Helly's accent change. It was something she found quite cute and impressive. Cynthia had the one accent, an accent that was soft spoken when she spoke basic but became thicker in the mandalorian dialect from the way words was pronounced. It was a big leap between the two languages but she was raised to speak both. Still it was no supirse that Cynthia felt all giddy, trying her hardest to resist the urge to jump around, all because of Helly's long worded out yes. It made her happy, Helly made her happy. Finally someone could do that. "As I said I like everything, even some country, and i'd love to hear you sing. Would be like my own little concert." She said giggling even more with an uncontrollable smile upon her lips. "I wish I had a skill like been able to sing or play an instrument. I have no excuse really. I've so much time to practice... or use to before the responsibilities I have to contend with." Cynthia said. Her attention partially shifted to the holo vid.

Her hand came up to her mouth as Cynthia yawned. "I'm kinda starting to feel sleepy." She said looking up at the woman with sleepy eyes. Time had passed and the day was probably getting late for Cynthia's body clock. She yawned once more. She rolled over facing Helly's belly away from the light of the holo vid and pressed her head against the woman. Once her eyes had shut she was gone...

A week had passed by so quickly, a week of getting to know each other more and more and they had even gotten closer during this time. Dark red eyes peered out into the darkness of space, a hot cup of caf sat upon the dash as steam floated upwards. "So you never said what this pit stop is about, and you sure you don't want me to tag along?" She asked in a somewhat protective tone. Even if Helly didn't want her there she could still at least get supplies. She was short on food, water reserves needed topping up, fuel was always a pain. Still Cynthia for some reason could not help but worry Helly was no fighter, not like herself. Helly's crowds and Cynthia's crowds was totally different. The singer didn't get shot at or even shot on a regular basis.

Yet Helly was faced with hordes of fans cheering and lingering of each word she sung for the most part. There was no denying that either of them didn't have it hard, and they where hard for different reasons. Reasons they didn't know about each other yet. "Just Promise to take one of my communicator okay. So I know where you are if something happens."

As Cynthia was falling asleep in her lap, Helly tried to keep her eyes forward at the screen, but they kept wandering down to Cynthia's face up against her belly. She was, admittedly, adorable like that, but her eyes remained there for a different reason. She had asked herself this same question before, but she found herself asking it more still; how far was she willing to go with this girl?

Sex was sex, but feelings were beasts unto themselves. Beasts that couldn't be tamed. If she truly wanted to, she could turn it all off right then and assure herself that Cynthia wasn't right for her. It would nip the problem in the bud before it had a chance to be a problem. She had done it before on several occasions, despite thoroughly enjoying the company of a girl, and yet there she was, thoroughly enjoying the company of Cynthia and not having the slightest clue of how to handle it. Once she had feelings for someone, that was typically it... There was no going back no matter how hard she tried, the feelings would just envelop her and never let go like some kind of Sarlacc. She had to be exceptionally careful.

But for the time being, Helly was comfortable... and maybe even happy.

tK3ytN7.png
Helly couldn't help but smile at the concern Cynthia was showing as she got ready to leave. "It's a private matter, Cynth," she explained again. "Nothing to worry about, I know the guy personally and he's cool and everything. I'm just not sure how long it'll take, so bear with me for a bit. Oh, and just to let you know, it's got nothing to do with drugs, I promise, alright?"

She agreed to take a communicator. It couldn't hurt, after all. Then, she stopped moving around and turned to face the girl directly, sliding her hands on each side of her hips. With their faces just inches apart, Helly assured her, "I'll be fine, this is nothing..." She gave her a kiss. "I still owe you a date, you know," she whispered. "Candlelit dinner... fine wine... all the romantic chit you can imagine. I treat the girls I like well, and girl, I certainly like you." She leaned her head in for another kiss, holding it there for a good moment before slowly parting her lips from Cynthia's, smiling wide after.

[member="Helly Reyne"]

Cynthia nodded understanding. Cynthia trusted Helly more than most now. It would be closer to say Cynthia trusts her completely at this point. "I know. I know. I just don't want you to feel like you have to hide things from me, but you have your reasons and entitled to privacy." Cynthia said swivelling her chair so that she faced Helly. The woman's arms wrap around her hips, feeling her hands slide across. Her face was close to her own and Helly's soft worded reassurance was some comfort that was followed by a kiss that her lips indulged in. Words that followed made Cynthia giggle a little. After the second kiss that she lent into passionately she'd bring a hand up to the woman's cheek. "If I remember right, It's me who's taking you on a date, y'know since I asked you." Her tone of voice came across as very playful.

Her other hand slid down the Coruscani woman's side before guiding her to sit on Cynthia's lap. Swivelling the chair back around both hand's wrapped around her as she looked up at Helly with a sparkle in her eyes. "Although if you want to treat me then I am not going to argue." In that moment the ship left hyperspace above the world. Cynthia sighed knowing that soon shed have to watch Helly go away somewhere. It almost felt like heartache. After all she had called her clan here to meet her, but maybe that would have to wait till next time. Either way she needed to find out what their progress was with finding a suitable world to make camp. Cynthia was adamant to having the perfect place and acquire the land for it too. So While Helly was off to do her thing Cynthia had plenty to do still. "Where here I guess." She said distantly and with worry to her voice again.

Sitting atop her paramour's lap, she couldn't seem to help but lean up against her in the seat, nuzzling her head up against her neck. "You can take me on as many dates as you like," she murmured softly. "Fancy restaurant, hiking, overlooking a city, getting high and watching dumb movies..." She laughed a bit at her last comment, considering they had already done that within the past week.

"I'll see you when I get back, yeah? Shouldn't take too long... It's only an inspection." She bit her tongue as she said that, hoping that Cynthia wouldn't think much of it.

Standing back up, she started making her way out, adding one last thing: "God you're beautiful." If it could at least take her mind off of the inspection blab, then it would be worth it to be a bit extra mushy.

[member="Cynthia Solus"]

The ships autopilot took them down to the world below as the two shared a moment. "Then I'll take you on lots." She said in reply giggling at Helly's comment. No one has ever made Cynthia feel so happy, so relaxed and loved like the woman that was sat on her lap made her. "Be safe okay, and just keep in contact. If i don't hear from you, I will come looking." The ship took a while getting to the place yet it seemed too quickly. She didn't want to let go, and knowing she had to didn't make it easier to let her arms slip from around Helly to allow her to stand. By the time Cynthia turned around to reply the cockpit door had already whooshed closed. "I love you Helly Reyne" She said soft and quietly to herself. Just like that Cynthia finally said what she felt and no one was there.

4wDpEF0.png

Cynthia walked down the ramp in her full armor. She had credits, a shopping list and the name of the place she was mean't to meet her vod at. Helly was long gone to her thing by now. The area wasn't over populated and in some ways looked rather rugged. Buildings that had metal exteriors had large orange stains where it had rusted and there was no green plant life that grew in the ground. Just a muddied path from where people always walk. There was no telling where Helly went or how long she would be, but Cynthia had to resist tracking the com to snoop. Her eyes was traced to the floor as she walked. She felt her boots squelch in every other step.

Almost an hour passed by slowly. The shopping was done and a delivery service would send her good's to her ship later in the day. It wade it useful since she had other business to take care of. All of her clan had been here probably a few days before she did. Most likely they all stayed in the same place to make it convenient, also the fact they were family so it made sense for them all to gather at the same place. Cynthia walked into a pub like place that was across from what looked like a small B&B.

Upon entering she would wipe her feet on the large mat getting rid of some of the mud that clung to her boots. It was quiet inside — almost. There was plenty of noise coming from the far side and it sounded like mandalorian been spoken. Making her way in that direction weaving around seats and tables Cynthia approched the very few people of Clan Solus.

"Su cuy'gar anade." She said announcing her arrival
"Su cuy'gar alor, me'vaar ti gar?" Delphine said stright away obviously watching Cynthia come over. She had her helmet off and a tall glass filled with what looked like ale held tight in her hands.
"Naas Delphine."
"Ba'buir." "Ba'buir." Vhela and Jaick shouted as they ran in hearing Cynthia's voice.

"Su cuy'gar ade." Crouching down her arms extended to feel the impact of the kids wrapping their arms around her. "My, has both of you gotten taller or is it just me?" There was a warming chuckle to her voice as she let the kids go from her hug. "Nuuu uuuu. I've Jaick has gotten smaller." Vhela said with an adorably funny voice.
"So Cynthia why here? Seems a bit of an unusual place to gather us." Corl asked blankly.
"Corl, Jeez let her sit down first. Do you want a drink Cynthia?"
"Sure" She said taking a seat in between Rava and Kad. "A Pink nebula, hold the jokes." Rava shook her head with a smirk. "Probably not the only pink thing pressed against our lips huh." "Actually it isn't but you know, not around the kids huh."
"Anyway, the girl im traveling with needed to take a stop here, and I thought that id do this in person."

The meeting when on for some time and during the entire thing she hadn't been contacted by Helly. Everyone was still in the pub and so was Cynthia, she wasn't saying much now with having said everything but she enjoyed watching them bond and the kids play around.
