Creating a Stronger Empire

It had been several months of selection, a rather aggravating process for the High Moff in it's entirety. As High Moff of the Bothawui sector he took on the task of Director of Special Operations within his territory. Adron knew the Imperial Military was perhaps the finest in the galaxy, few would disagree with such a statement, however it needed to shift it's focus away from mechanical monstrosity back to the use of it's soldiers. The imperial Guardsman, Dark Honor Guard, Imperial Commandos, Novatrooper's and Death Trooper's were a fine start, but the High Moff knew he could do better still.

He stood aboard an LAAT, watching as the scenery of Bothawui rapidly passed underneath him. He had selected his prospects and now it was time to give them the training they needed. His eyes rose to look to the other gunships that transported those he had chosen to begin the rigorous training regiment and he simply let out a content exhale.

Finally the ship began it's descent, they had arrived at their destination.

The High Moff clasped his arms behind his back as the LAAT touched down on the planet's surface. He stepped out of the ship, flanked by a squad of his Novatroopers. The soldiers were not there to act as his personal guard today, no, today they would aid in the instructions.

As the other ships touched down and the door's opened, the High Moff listened to one of the Novatrooper's sound off.

"Alright, alright! In formation, let's go!" The soldier called out to the recruits.

It was a fascinating sight, to say the least. As the door's opened and the prospects began to line up one would notice some had on military uniforms, some were fully matured, some were very young, only children, and some wore the rags of poverty.

In his selection there was no discrimination. He did not look for age, or experience, or or creed, or loyalties, he looked only for potential. It was a dangerous training method, one that forced the weaker to become stronger and one that forced the stronger to tolerate the weaker, but it had it's benefits.

Nearly twenty prospects in all, many were touched by the Force and others were not. But by the end of the day the Moff would know which truly had a place in his program.

He turned to the man who would act as their primary instructor, his own Knight, Gaheris Lancel. Among those being trained were The Squires of House Malvern, Adron was rather eager to see their progress.

"Remember, they're not all soldiers. For some you'll be starting from scratch. But I didn't bring them here If I didn't foresee benefit from this exercise." The young Moff stated.

"Between the two of us and the Novatrooper's I'm sure we can train them well." He continued.

Ailuros had seen battle with and against the Jedi. Had a few spars with her people and knew how to fight hand to hand. Her training with weapons was a little more limited. She knew how to use her sword, knives and other short range weapons. In her training, there had been very little when it came to guns or other firearms.

When Adron had sent her the message to show up for further training, the cat had jumped at the opportunity. She was thrown into the mix of people, mostly humans with a few other near humans. Ages varied as well as apparent ability. Knowing everybody needed to start somewhere, she didn't question or feel any of them were lesser than her for not being trained.

Since joining the Empire, she not had the chance to do further training other than what was given to her for her new job there. While still not an expert at anything, the trianni was confident in her own abilities.

They arrived on Bothawui and set down. A small armada of ships full trainers and trainees climbed out. Stretching, Ailuros hopped off the ship with nimble footing and took her place in the line up. She wore a simple shirt and her belt full of her weapons and a few tools. Awaiting to see what happened, she looked around at the others in front of her.

The knight of Serenno listened as his noble talk to him. He nodded his helmeted head, looking over the recruits before walking out in front of them. He stood erect, arms behind his back.

"Recruits! Attention!" He barked out his order to them, "My name is Gaheris Lancel, Knight of the Noble House Malvern of Serenno. Commander of His Excellency, the Count's forces. But you will address me as 'sir'. Is that clear?"

There came out a cry of "sir, yes sir", albeit somewhat disjointed and far from uniform. He shook his head, thundering his feet back and forth between all the recruits.

"Pathetic! Palpatine himself has more life in him, Force rest his soul. Again!" He growled out to them.

The resounding reply was louder and more uniform. The part-Echani smirked under his helmet before standing at attention in front of them once more.

"That's better. Today, we're going attempt to teach you lot hand to hand combat." He addressed them, "Make no mistake. My goal is break you down into the malluable lump of clay and shape you into the greatest fighting force this Empire has seen."

The knight then turned and looked over to the Count and gave him nod. "Floor's all yours, Your Excellency"

Iturizu Yuvie

Be carfule what you wish for
Yuvie had accompanied [member="Adron Malvern"] on this training exercise to increase her knowledge and fighting skill, though proficient in form 2 she had come to realize the lack of force powers and other fighting means which resulted in a defeat with the last Jedi she face. Most Sith would be angry and filled with hate, but Yuvie respected the Jedi and his unorthodox fighting methods, forming a slight rivalry with him, she wanted to match them in combat one day, and as such needed more advanced training.

The young inquisitor stepped off the LAAT, and got into formation with the others awaiting instructions, the instructor was seemed harsh, but that's what made good fighters, discipline and strict code. Most of the recruits here were new, untrained, she doubted many would match her skill in a one on one fight, though she needed practice on dealing with multiple opponents, perhaps the newbies could provide such a challenge, that way all of them would gain some sort of experience.
