SETTING INFORMATION
  • Mine Name: USM Rishi Mining and Refining Facility [NZ R1/MR]
  • Material: Predominantly Exonium, with little pockets of quartz, halite and mica
  • Location: Rishi
  • Affiliation: USM, a subsidiary of N&Z Umbrella Corporation
  • Size: Large
  • Population: Moderately staffed
  • Profit: Medium
  • Accessibility: The USM Rishi Mining and Refining facility, like any other normal industrial site is not that hard to access if one made an appointment or goes through the proper channels. However, it does have standard security meassures to protect against such things as theft and sabotage.
  • Description: The USM Rishi Mining and Refining center is a combination of a couple of both open quarries, drilling and pumping stations, massive molecular furnaces, and a large industrial complex within the perimeter where refined materials are stored and transported.
POINTS OF INTEREST
  • Mineral Quarry: Whenever minerals are found during sample drillings, if the content is predominantly minerals rather than exonium, the soil is essentially "washed" before a quarry would be formed. At the time there are three quarries in which Halite, Quartz and Mica are being delved.
  • Drilling and Pumping stations: The places where drilling samples reveal high concentrations of Exonium, pumps and drills are installed in large numbers to extract the fuel from the soil and the reserves within.
  • Refining station: A large Industrial complex filled with filtering machines, huge furnaces and cooling rooms, storage spaces and large Hangar bays for freighters of small to medium size and landbased transport haulers.
  • Reception and offices: A moderately sized building near the entrance of the industrial site, a modern, Rishi-style building with its style accomodating the physiques and template of the rishi species and humanoids from all over the galaxy.

SECURITY
  • Medium: The industrial complex of the mining and refining facility is surrounded with barbed livewire reaching up to 15ft high, small and spread out security outposts and visual detection systems around the premise, with a slightly higher number of security personel inside the offices and the industrial compound itself.

  • Intent: To create a standard N&Z Internal Security unit, allowing for a better overview of the operations inside N&Z locations and assets and to allow for a better overview of the mock up of the entire subdivision.

  • Role: These Units will be assigned to both act as part of the larger N&Z Internal Security on important locations owned and operated by the N&Z, while also having the added use to be provided as bodyguards to non-Nargath board members and other high level representatives within the N&Z. They will mainly be considered as a line of defense to both N&Z assets and personel for those who wish to bring harm upon N&Z personel or assets to contend with.

GENERAL INFORMATION
  • Unit Name: Internal Security Unit

    These combat units are the standard designated security units of the N&Z Security Division, subdivision Internal Security. They are light to medium armored personel carrying mainly light to medium weaponry. they are generally considered to be on par with well-trained police forces and due to their outward appearance could be mistaken as such. Units like this one generally follow the rules set by the N&Z Security Division on professionality and internal policies regarding behavior and conduct, which means that they maintain their decorum towards outsiders and maintain a level of distance towards civilians not allied to the overal N&Z Umbrella Corporation, though they can show some comraderie towards N&Z personel, this is strictly kept to a minimum as long as these men and women are on duty.

    Though they are mainly meant to be distinctive within the N&Z corporation, they do so through their outfits and appearance, which due to the lack of heavy military grade armors and weaponry makes them easily noticeable as Internal Security members compared to any other subdivision within the greater N&Z Security Division. SETTING INFORMATION
  • Structure Name: Erinar Powerplant and Fuel refinery - N&Z PF One
  • Classification: Power plant with integrated wastemanagement facility and fuel refinery
  • Location: Erinar
  • Affiliation: N&Z Umbrella Corporation
  • Accessibility: As a powerplant, there are some safety precautions and security is mandated at all times, but since none of the operations within are a trade secret and extreme precautions have been taken for the general safety of the location, it is essentially open to the public in the form of agreed upon guided tours under supervision and ofcourse there are the offices which are generally open to the public during working hours as a location for information and the usual logistics and administrative tasks that are part of running the facility.
  • Description: Unlike the usual image and idea of a powerplant, the PF One symbolizes a new concept as a powerplant, no longer utilizing cooling towers and the likes and instead relying on state of the art waste management and reuse of waste material. The cooling is as such done in a different way, allowing the site at a glance to look more like a generic industrial site akin to a shipyard or factory rather than what people are used when they conjure up the image of a power plant within their mind.

SECURITY
