Rorsch watched as the tanks went up in a blaze of glory and listened as the Empress herself noted that they were destroyed. There was a lot of ground to cover before the vault and the Empress knew that when she called out to move forward. Justice was the first to get going.

"We are going to be leap-frogging, cover me."

"Copy," the undercover general said, leveling his blaster at more Hutt troopers and blasting each one with acceptable precision. He specifically targeted ones within closer range than those far off. Rorsch was an accomplished close-quarters fighter but had the ability of a standard stormtrooper when it came to longer-ranged engagements.

Once Justice hit the treeline, the Kel'dor was already over the top rushing towards the clone's position. As he was running his precognition began to go wild. He saw flashes of a rocket exploding nearby sending the trunk of a tree flying at him. At the same time the vision ended, he heard the explosion. He wouldn't be able to dodge in time, chit, he thought.

In a fluid motion, he stopped in his spot, his rifle dropping to hang on its sling, using his telekinetic force powers he gripped the trunk spinning it around him like a shotput ball, and threw it with questionable accuracy back at the launcher-wielding mercenary. He ultimately missed, but scared the merc into falling backward, making him an easy kill for a follow-up shot from his revolver.

He kept running hitting the treeline, "Corporal Lutih, come on. We'll cover you." he said over the radio, his voice still a monotone calmness in an otherwise chaotic situation. "Hanna, we are at the tree line, what's your status?"

What was she even doing here?

She understood the objective, and agreed with it, and while in transit to this frozen locale, was resigned to it. But now under the cold of the forests, she felt... conflicted. She understood that in a Galaxy as tumultuous as this one, there weren't always clear cut choices - and that consequences may echo far beyond what she saw - even with the aid of the Force.

Yet when were the "best of these choices" simply excuses? Why was she here, and not raging against the Hutts and their slave armies? Perhaps she deemed the loss of the life of a condor as lesser than any enslaved combatant that would perish by her hand? Perhaps she didn't want to dirty her hands with espionage, and the shifting of dirty money to cleaner hands?

Perhaps she hoped that the slight, black haired and newly minted Empress was the same woman she should have spoken more to - tried more, did more, did something. Maybe she felt that there was still a "noble sovereign" a worthy master (or mistress) that she could pledge her sword to wholeheartedly, even when Laphisto Laphisto departed the Empire for the nascent Diarchy, and that this was the best way to earn her attention? Or maybe, this was the best way to earn a severance package, if things became untenable.

Could she even call herself Mandalorian, rather than a mercenary with beskar'gam and a set of morals? Those who followed the Way were notoriously independent at worst, and insular at best - she had neither vode to rely upon, nor was she desiring to be solely autonomous for her own sake. Yet so much of who influenced her - the Order of the Sunstar, the Lilaste Order, House Solus... all were changing in ways she didn't recognize or were simply... gone.

One of the Imperial Agents quipped that this would be the quietest op for a woman who had inherited the late Emperor Velran's eccentricities. The noise both in the Force and within her own conscience told Kebii'kara of House Solus otherwise.
