13. Plagiarism is prohibited.
2. Cross-Over Role-play is not allowed
While it is alright to draw influence from other fictional universes, directly or blatantly copying from those sources is prohibited.

Be advised that staff reserves the right to request members change their character names or biographies.

No, there's a difference.

Space elves and dwarves and all sorts of other creations in the codex and characters are influenced by other sources, they are not just a copy/pasted wiki article.

So long as an effort has been made to make it distinct and the name is not the same (or just slightly changed with a couple of letters) then we're not going to make a fuss.

Now I know you weren't being serious, but it's a good opportunity to explain further.

If you feel you see such an example, please PM a site admin or report the bio/profile in question and it will be looked into.
