  • Description: [Provide a short paragraph that describes this structure at a glance. More in-depth descriptions can be added in points of interest.]

POINTS OF INTEREST
  • The Forbidden City: The largest section of the resort, the Forbidden City contains the casino pits as well as the other more mundane gambling varieties the establishment has on offer. Thousands of slot machines, hundreds of gambling tables, but perhaps what Crown Court is best known for is as a hub for sports betting. Large screen monitors cover most of the walls, with a seemingly endless variety of live matches to gamble on, statistics in multiple trade languages scrolling underneath and alongside.
  • The Masquerade: The resort's dance hall and nightclub, the Masquerade also serves as a nexus for the casino's booming illicit drug trade. With bountiful supply in a place like Point Nadir, just about anything you can think of is for sale. The club is practically a black market in narcotics.
  • The High Court: Where the high rollers and whales the establishment attracts go to display their status, enjoy the view from the upper floors of the structure, and partake in games of truly high stakes. Not for the faint of heart, the High Court is venue of discerning taste, and many are turned away at the door by Court Security. A smaller portion of the section, known as the Red Rooms, plays host to guests with darker, more lurid tastes.
  • The Royale: With more than three thousand spacious rooms, the Royale is the most lavish hotel on Point Nadir. Filled with amenities like pools and spas as well as several restaurants. The most well known establishment is the hotel bar, the Corner Club, with convenient access to the hotel lobby and, more importantly, the casino floor beyond.
  • The Coliseum: A thirty thousand seat arena, the Coliseum hosts the casino's live stage events. Theater, music acts, even sporting events. But the most popular attraction by far is the fighting pits, of which the casino boasts several. While not always to the death, there is a fight going on at practically every hour of the day.
  • The Labyrinth: Mostly composed of the casino cages, a highly secured, restricted area where chips were exchanged and credits were counted by teller droids. Beyond the cages lies the casino Vault, a heavily fortified miniature fortress with redundant layers of antitamper security and capable of withstanding a baradium blast. The Labyrinth also contains much of the resort's main infrastructure. Generators, server rooms, staff locker and break rooms, everything necessary to run such a vast establishment behind the scenes. There are deeper parts of this section where some of the more violent and immoral acts are committed by the management.
  • Executive Offices: Located on several of the mid level floors via restricted access turbolifts, these workspaces are where much of the upper management oversees the day to day operation of the casino, as well as the business' various side interests.
  • The Crown Suite: A truly opulent penthouse apartment at the top of the pyramidal structure, the rooms are extremely spacious, including an office with direct access to the turbolift that would not look out of place in the corporate headquarters of some Core world ecumenopolis megacorp. The office contains a transparisteel wall with a view out onto the shadowport, while the suite itself has a balcony overlooking the entrance square far below.

PRODUCTION INFORMATION
  • Manufacturer: The Prince
  • Model: N/A
  • Affiliation: The Prince
  • Modularity: No.

  • Production: Unique
  • Material: Void Stone, Flexsteel, Electrum Plating
SPECIAL FEATURES
  • Void Stone Crystal: Refined from a decent sized chunk of Otherspace meteorite, this polished stone possesses a curious connection to the Force. At this size and quality, any Force-sensitive person within 30 meters suffer an impaired connection to those Force, dampening their ability to use their powers.
  • Stylish Casing: Not only for aesthetics but also functional, this protective housing is what allows the amulet's focusing properties. Turned in the correct sequence, the electrum plated cover slides back and a solar charged backlight is focused into a beam that shines through the crystal. Utilizing light waves, this allows for its wearer to target an individual for an even more potent dampening effect.
STRENGTHS
  • Void Amulet: The jewel encrusted into this amulet is a cut and polished chunk of raw Void Stone, dampening Force abilities within 30 meters of the wearer. Even untrained Force sensitives experience impairment within its radius.
  • Focusing Effect: Activating a mechanism on the electrum casing triggers a shutter which narrows the stone's exposure and a high powered backlight shines through the stone like a prism, projecting its deleterious effects through light waves at an individual target for a more potent effect.
WEAKNESSES
  • Fragile: Aside from the flexsteel band which keeps it securely in place around the wearer's neck, there are no innate defenses to this device. It can be removed or shattered with appropriate force.
DESCRIPTION

To anyone who asks, the Prince claims this amulet is a family heirloom and proof he is rightful heir to the monarchy of his homeworld. In truth, this item was one of the first serious purchases the Exchange vigo made when he began amassing his personal fortune. Paying an extraordinary sum of credits to acquire a large enough chunk of Void Stone meteorite on the galactic black market, he then hired an artisan jewelcrafter and a small team of scientists to study the stone's properties and discern how best to shape it.

This amulet was produced as a result of those efforts. Once satisfied as to the results, the Prince had the entire team assassinated so no one but he would understand the true nature of its origins or properties.

DESCRIPTION

A towering cloudscraper along the Canto Bight skyline, although not located along the famed coast over the centuries the Coruscant Hotel has built up a reputation as a high class establishment catering to the opulently wealthy. Second in stature only to the renowned Canto Casino, where Canto draws its crowds through the sheer variety of attractions, the Coruscant plies its trade through a mixture of reserved glamour and nostalgia for simpler, better times.

POINTS OF INTEREST

Galactic City Casino: The largest section of the resort, Galactic City contains the casino pits as well as the other more mundane gambling varieties the establishment has on offer. Thousands of slot machines, hundreds of gambling tables, a seemingly endless parade of live matches to gamble on, statistics on everything from shockboxing to podracing scrolling underneath and alongside in multiple trade languages.

The Undercity: Mostly composed of the casino cages, a highly secured, restricted area where chips are exchanged and credits were counted by teller droids. Beyond the cages lies the casino Vault, a heavily fortified miniature fortress with redundant layers of antitamper security and capable of withstanding up to a baradium blast. The Undercity also contains much of the resort's main infrastructure. Generators, server rooms, staff locker and break rooms, everything necessary to run such a vast establishment behind the scenes. There are deeper parts of this section where some of the more violent and immoral acts are committed by the management.

The Great Rotunda: A fifty thousand seat arena, the Great Rotunda hosts the casino's live stage events. Theater, music acts, even sporting events. The Skyhook Cantina: A dance hall, cantina, and night club all in one. The Skyhook is suspended far above the surface via carbonite nanofibers. Great expense and care was taken to artificially produce an exterior garden environment surrounding the establishment proper, with a small landing pad for shuttle access from the lobby below. The Skyhook also serves as a nexus for the casino's booming illicit drug trade.

Executive Offices: Located on several of the top floors via restricted access turbolifts, these workspaces are where much of the upper management oversees the day to day operation of the casino, as well as the business' various side interests.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION

For as long as anyone can remember, the Coruscant Hotel has dominated the Canto Bight skyline. A trusted name in luxury, although the establishment has gone through many changes in management over the centuries it has only solidified its reputation as a world class establishment on a planet legendary for its resort economy.

For just as long, the hotel proprietors have maintained a certain 'understanding' with the Corporate Sector Authority. For so long as the resort continues to pay certain property taxes it maintains a healthy working relationship with the Canto Bight Police who regularly patrol the city's downtown.

Recently word has spread of a group of foreign investors which acquired the Hotel in a surprise bid. While the new management has yet to make any radical changes to the resort's layout or decor, lately the Coruscant has become known for catering to a 'certain type' of high class. The kind that don't like to maintain a public record of their business dealings.
