"That is a good theory," Oscar muttered. The he continued a little bit louder, "I think it's a really good idea."

He stopped moving and closed his eyes for a moment. He knew the basics of Force Sense, so he was able to take a look around with it, but he did not have enough skill in using the power to actually move around, keep his eyes open and try to use his 'third eye' at the same time.

The Force surrounded them, Oscar could even feel that. Ossus was practically the Jedi capital, that's why it was so strong here. But he could still feel a weaker ripple coming from somewhere. Just as if... it didn't have the Force at all.

"I am no good at sensing what's around us, but do you think the crystals could be there?" He pointed to the direction where he thought the weaker force was coming from.

As O@scar Grant Paxon paid attention to the Force surrounding the two, Sabena watched her comrade. She immediately turned to the direction that Oscar pointed to as he asked if the crystals could be there. Sabena silently stared in that direction for several seconds.

“It wouldn’t hurt to look,” she suggested as she began to walk in that direction.

“We got time,” she continued, and then teasingly, “And I’m sure nothing will bite your head off.”

The remark Sabena made was a little bit offensive, he sensed, but that didn't matter at all. He knew there was actually nothing that could kill them there. Ossus was typically a safe sanctuary due to its location and heavy Jedi protection. Even Sith didn't want to go there because of a high threat. And wild animals -- Oscar had learned they were more afraid of humans than the other way around.

"So... if you do become a Knight one day, do you have any idea of what you're going to specialise in?" he asked from the girl, a little bit curious of what others thought about these matters. "I myself am leaning towards the Consular path as giving me a lightsaber will end up in chaos."

“Hmmm,” hummed Sabena as she continued to trek forward.

There was a subsequent chuckle as [member="Oscar Grant Paxon"] mentioned his talents with a lightsaber.

“I’m not too sure myself,” answered Sabena, “I’m still trying to… I guess, ‘find myself,’ in a way. I think my master is trying to broaden my skills rather than focus them. What does yours teach you?”

"I wish I had a master. Right now, I'm learning from various Knights and Masters, but I don't have one official master," Oscar answered to Sabena's question. "I also study on my own, which should be a good thing, but I think it'd still be better if I had a full-time teacher or something."

He released a deep sigh before looked around to see (or feel) anything unusual. He was sure they were headed in the right direction, but i) his senses were often rather vague and ii) he had no idea what the crystals themselves were like.

"I'm guessing having a master to teach you is great?"

“It helps,” began Sabena, “We all learn from everyone, like what you're doing. But, having a mentor I can always go to has definitely helped me a lot.”

Then, she optimistically added, “I’m sure if you ask, anyone would be willing to be your Master.”

As Sabena was trucking through a brush, she tilted her head up for a moment. She panned her head around.

“We’re close, I think,” she told [member="Oscar Grant Paxon"], “Do you see anything?”
