Jumping into the fray against the Dark Jedi

It was then at that time while he watched and observed the scene as it played before him wherein. From the sideline, a few paces ahead of him by her whom he sense lay motionless a faintly familiar signature in the force. That if nothing else had been the focal point and one of his main concern that of which drew him come closer. In such a way that it seems his presence however much he did his best keep hidden earlier. Had all but slowly began to slip so that seems in no time the dark stranger before him that stood between him and her had no less been alerted his approach.
As such that soon enough that it all transpired in one fell sweep wherein the stranger before he launched to counter that which the stranger standing watch over her committed to. That in all the commotion seeing the dark fiend send out a force push all but garner his ire at such extent that he unexpectedly jump into the fray. Being so bold in that he seems unable holdback and in a slight fit of a momentary lapse of control fall back to old memories. From a time far before he even understood it at the very cuspid of his initial foray into the force. The teaching of old and ingrained skilled learn slowly came to creep back as such that it no less help build up a momentary momentum in him. That is slightly boosted his presence in the force to that his first Master had worked so hard to accomplish albeit now more than ever as it was in the past. That he knew in doing so was at best a slippery path to take for one not yet as well verse as he out to be but then again. With emotion fuel to stoke the fire that connected him to the force that he acted.
As he saw the stranger before he turns his heel and began hurled his lightsaber at him, blue blade spinning through the air propelled by the force. That he then in heat of the moment came unwittingly ignite his own sabers as he held them high to counter the blade as its approach. While he then gathers up as much he could of the building force within him to follow thru. By ram his close clenched fist to the ground. Force a semi-force wave towards the Dark Jedi as a distraction as he dives rolls towards her side.

Instead of simply moving to block his strike, the Dark Jedi had danced away from the sweep of his blade. On a normal day, the overconfidence of his opponent would have gotten to his head and emboldened him to be more aggressive and wild in his attacks, but his mind remained clear and his breathing didn't change. Mereel was locked in a state of calm determination, with his primary goal being to keep himself uninjured so he could get Seo out of here.

He quickly moved his boots forward to stand on the floor tiles that the Dark Jedi had retreated from. The man was still holding his blade in a stance that kept him open, and Mereel fully planned on capitalizing on it. He stopped holding his lightsaber with his left hand and pointed his palm directly at his opponent, his right hand's grip became tight as he prepared to lunge.

Before he could fire the cryoban projectors in his metal hand, he saw a man over the Dark Jedi's shoulders. He felt the Dark Jedi drawing on the force a split second before the his hand shot up. Letting himself fall into the guidance of the force, his opponent's telekinetic blast of force energy came barreling towards him and Seo in what felt like slow motion. He didn't know how to use the force to create a barrier around them, but he didn't need to, he just needed to stop the wave of air from slamming into them.

Mereel thumbed off his lightsaber and the grip in his right hand went to slack. The lightsaber began falling as he created his own force push with his right hand. His lightsaber flew off with his telekinetic push, and the two waves of wind slammed together.

Both of Guarav's attacks failed.

First the new force user ignited two lightsabers, and blocked his thrown blade. His blue lightsaber deactivated itself and clattered to the ground harmlessly. A new danger presented itself as the man sent a wave of the force towards him.

As Gaurav channeled the force to slow the wave of telekinetic energy now coming at him, the Mandalorian dropped his lightsaber and stopped Guarav's force push with one of his own. Unexpectedly, the Mandalorian's force push powered through his own, and his focus on defending himself from the second man's wave was interupted.

Guarav formed a bubble shaped barrier around himself as the two telekinetic blasts converged on him. Although he hated them, the Jedi had taught him a few useful skills. He would make the force users here pay for forcing him to use them.

Jumping into the fray against the Dark Jedi

As it were f by chance or miracle that he somehow seems survived the dark figured onslaught and was able to hold his ground. Albeit he did somehow have to shift his initial plan a tad bit to compensate for what appear been. The coincidental counter that came from another...one whom in the heat of the initial attack he launches had somewhat been overlooked. And that if it were not for momentary laps of having to compensate between accessing the partial teaching he'd thus far gain or regained. That he barely had time to cut short his advance towards her if only avoid the full impact of the other [Mereel] action.
One which forces him to drop low enought and dig one arm towards the ground beneath him. That force pushes him slight to a step away from them and no sooner than it passed that he slightly stood up. Keeping his center of gravity close but slightly elevated from the ground that he then let his eyes dart between the two as he surmises to read thru the force as best he could their intent. And that no sooner had he done so that he then grips the saber in hand tight as he then tries his earnest to signal the other [Mereel] make ready grab her. As he hopes then to maybe be able to distract the dark stranger just enought keep her safe.

She watched as the two fell to the ground and again attempted to get up. Her head started to swim again though and she laid back down. Propping herself up by her elbows to better see what was going on. She actually gave a small reaction when the surviving man called her a wounded dog.

A simple narrowing of her eyes and total silence, but a reaction none the less. Something she noticed...he monologed. Typical of an egotisticle bad guy. Not giving voice or an additional reaction to him, she would pay some attention to what Mereel was doing.

Seo may not be able to do much fighting, but she could lend some aid to him. Calling the Force to her provided it didn't slip away again she would give him a sense of valor. An almost unknown skill, but one she had looked up at one point. Not ever having needed it, she did not know if it would truly take a hold on him.

As she did that, another presence was felt and if she could have gone any paler, she would have. Things would soon get rather interesting. Having remembered she also called out to any nearby Silver's, the person that responded was one she hadn't expected. However, she went with the flow and also would attempt to provide to him that same Valor.

The Force held this time and did not slither away. If Mereel and Ronin accepted the additional aid, they would react faster and be stronger. Better warriors than they already were. It would have no effect on the man between them.

What might have been thought of as rash actions by Mereel, Seo actually supported him in this. If she had personally been in any fighting condition, she would have done the same thing. The saber fight did not last long before theier oponent gave up and turned his attention to Ronin coming up from behind.

That attack the dark Jedi had sent his way was blocked and a wave sent back in their direction. Just perfect...one from the dark Jedi to them and the additional one from Ronin. Letting a mental sigh, a slightly weakened barrier popped up around Seo. Ronin rolled through it all, somehow untouched and then Mereel put a stop to both Ron's and the dark Jedi's telekinetic push with one of his own.

Noticing the distraction the various waves had been to the guy, she decided to add in her own. As much as Seo disliked telekinesis, it did have its uses. Instead of a random and wide push though, she sent a focused shove directly at him. A simple motion with her hand and it was off. Aimed at his stomach area and with the finesse of a bat, she hoped to knock the wind out of him. With the strength of the push, she also wanted to land him on his rear end and against the wall.

Provided her manouver worked, she would lower the barrier around herself and look between Mereel and Ronin.

[member="Ronin Wendigo"] [member="Hard Contact"] [member="Mereel Vaun"]

Gaurav's force barrier had withstood the telekenetic attacks of the Mandalorian and the other unknown force user, who he assumed to also be a Jedi. Withstanding attacks and actively maintaining a strong barrier were entirely different things however. Keeping the defensive, invisible walls up between the two attacks had taken the Dark Jedi no small amount of willpower or concentration.

Beads of sweat formed under his mask as he channeled more energy into the barrier, but before he could manifest a sufficient amount in to give himself time to recollect, a third telekenetic attack was launched at him. The push smashed through Gaurav's remaining barrier with minor resistance, and landed on his abdomen, precisely where the blast had been targeted.

The impact knocked the breath out of his lungs and rocked him back on his feet to the point if losing balance and falling over backwards onto the ground. All was far from lost in the eyes of the Dark Jedi though.

Since the man had literally propelled his lightsaber at him with his force push, Gaurav pulled the Mandalorian's weapon into his hand using the force and reignited the ice blue blade.

The Dark Jedi began insanely chuckling as he rose back up onto his feet, "The one to upend me is the one who cannot stand herself."

Lightning crackling down and along the blue blade of the lightsaber punctuated Gaurav's sentence, but his rage slightly abated as he sensed an odd feeling in the force: a connection between the three force users, undoubtedly being projected by the woman. She either knew battle meditation, or an ability far lesser known. That made her someone his Master would desire greatly, and he would be rewarded handsomely for bringing her to him.

"I redact my previous statement. You are not quite the wounded animal I took you for. I'm sure my master will agree."

Gaurav did not attack [member="Ronin Wendigo"] immediately, but he did begin walking closer to the man. He held his blade out and away from his body, deliberately leaving himself open to an attack from a lightsaber.

[member="Seo Linn"] [member="Mereel Vaun"]

As soon as the saber left his hand, Mereel drew the KC-95 blaster pistol on his hip. Seeing the Dark Jedi going on the defensive, Mereel's eyes and aim followed the newcomer. The man hadn't done anything to earn his distrust, in fact he should have considered him an ally for his immediate action against the Dark Jedi, but the man's movement to get beside Seo and himself had been too quick for him to currently be comfortable with.

Mereel's finger moved to rest on his blaster's trigger, but his eyes picked up on the man's signal for him to get Seo. He gave a slight nod of the helmet to the man and turned his back on the Dark Jedi.

Rushing back to Seo's side, he holstered his pistol and started to lean down to pick her up. He cut himself short as he realized that physically lifting her without a stretcher in her current state had the potential to paralyze her from the waist down.. unless he could distribute her weight evenly somehow.

Already deeply entrusting the control of his actions to the force, an idea came to mind pretty quickly, as the Dark Jedi finished rambling about sometjing behind him, "I'm moving you. I won't let that di'kut interrupt me, but make sure you don't freak out on me. if I drop you the damage could be permanent."

He closed his eyes and held out his hands. In his mind he could envision the force flowing out from his hand and gradually pooling under Seo's form, creating an invisible layer of air that separated the length of her body from the floor. His hands lifted, and the invisible layer with them.

Mereel didn't open his eyes yet, but he had faith that he had begun levitating Seo off of the ground with the force. If she hadn't struggled, he knew that she would be floating perfectly horizontally in front of him when he opened his eyes.

Jumping into the fray against the Dark Jedi
It was then with the Dark Jedi upended comment about her and the current state of things seem did more or little fuel the undercurrent of emotion within him. One which made the distinction of his own affiliation no less clear as it no less made his connection. To her and the other [Mereel] somewhat discernable as it was also unclear other than it was there. At any rate, fall back to the hard lesson learned from both his former Master and all that came after intertwined with that which he'd learn on his own. He no less did well to play the part and play things off to the situation at hand add that which little he knew from a prior encounter he'd had with her in the past.

Shrouded in the underlying current of the Shadow of the force appears to be teetering between the darkness as much the light. He kept silent and still with his gaze transfixed at the dark jedi as he approached closer. A faint growl hiss comes from his lip as he came face to face with the Dark Jedi and a hint of annoyance at him seen in his gaze. But then again with his blade swung back and show no sign of aggression towards him he could only hope and pray his posturing was sort working. Although it could be said of it that part him wanted to advance and rip the smug look on his face but then again the words spoken of the other behind him. All but help to say his hand and made him somewhat listen and keep his poker face as he plays his hand in light of the situation as best he could.

"I'm moving you. I won't let that di'kut interrupt me, but make sure you don't freak out on me. if I drop you the damage could be permanent."

And he with a smirk look in his face spoke back to him.

"Then you better make sure of that or else it won't only be "the damage" to her that gonna be permanent. As don`t care or know what this little charade or beef you have going here. But I'm taken her none the less.....as she has many faces up to as.... the Lorrd hates waiting."

Seo looked at the dark Jedi with little to no emotion showing on her face. Her focus was on Mereel and Ronin through the Force. Luckily she was able to multi-task and her shove reached its target like she wanted. Sadly before she could do anything else to him, he was back on his feet. Cursing to herself mentally, she was upset at her condition.

Weakened with blood loss, broken ribs and a pounding head, there was only so much she could do. Not all was lost for them though. Having worked in an ancient library for years, Seo had learned many obscure and forgotten skills. Morichro was another such skill. If it was used on oneself, a person could go for a very long time without food, water or sometimes even air. However, if it was properly turned against an enemy, it could knock them out to the point where they might never wake up.

"Neither you or your master will take me. Even if he agrees...Now sleep."

Luckily she had done this BEFORE Mereel focused on trying to move her with his telekinesis. Back on Lorrd he had asked if there was anything that would get to her and this was one of them. Of course finding it out accidently and in a situation that wasn't optimal, her split focus on the man, Mereel and Ronin...her assistance stopped, leaving them in their normal state.

And he was able to a far greater reaction out of her than what had happened so far. However, she did not struggle at all. It hurt too much to move and for a final touch on the dark Jedi she actually used telekinesis to take a smoke grenade from Mereel's belt and throw it at him. If he didn't sleep from the Morichro, then he would hopefully have his vision impaired from the smoke. It would allow the three of them to get away.

In the heat of the situation, being held by Mereel with the Force, it would be clear Seo was not at all happy with this. While she wasn't mad at Mereel and he was doing what was right, she still gave him a rather fiery look. After that look was made fully clear to him, she turned her eyes to Ronin and made a simple motion with a hand as if to tell him to back off.

"He won't hurt me Ronin. Take care of that guy and let us get out of here. I feel like I've been beat up."

Jumping into the fray against the Dark Jedi
It was then keeping his focus on the dark stranger before him through keeping one eye on the other. It was at best a slightly trying act that is until he notes Seo next notion. That he then shifted his attention into covering their retreat out I there. And although still wary of the armor force user cradling her aloof with the air. He then noted hinted to her that he understood and shielding his thoughts while keeping things brief. He directed her to go the canyon as best he could to escape towards.

Realizing that the Jedi closest to him was not going to attack him first, the hand free of Gaurav's lightsaber reached for the edges of his mask. A second later, the silly thing fell to the floor.

The man facing down with him was torn between the light and dark, and it brought a sickening smile to the middle-aged human's face (Gaurav's). His orange, hatred corrupted eyes stared at the Jedi unblinking, even as he began speaking to the Mandalorian behind him.

"The only beef here is between you, that Mandalorian, and I - and that is merely consequential. Your deaths shall be but stepping stones towards my Master acquiring his next pet and pupil."

Gaurav began raising back his lightsaber to prepare a lunging strike at the growling man, but the woman on the floor interrupted him. "You have no s -"

A foreign energy creeped in on the edges of mind, and he began slipping out of consciousness. He tried to wall off his mind with the force, but his attempt to do so had started far too late. Switching between nodding off and being hyperaware of the danger he was in, Gaurav was defenseless as the smoke grenade landed at his feet.

Summoning all of the hate and contempt he felt for the Jedi Order, Gaurav finally walled off his mind and regained control of his consciousness, but the smoke began pouring out of the grenade and into his lungs. He began coughing heavily, and in an act of desperation he launched a weak force push at the Jedi who had been staring him down (Ronin Wendigo).

[member="Ronin Wendigo"] [member="Seo Linn"]

He noticed it as soon as he lifted her. A connection from Seo that he had unconsciously slipped into through the force was now gone, but it didn't matter. He was already relying on the force, and he was able to continue lifting her without dropping her so much as a degree when her force valor fell.

At least, that was the case until the new man spoke up.

Mereel's eyebrows shot up as the stranger not-so-subtly threatened him, raised further when the man confidently said he was taking her, and further still at the mention of her homeworld.

"What the kriff?

His focus had been completely bombed by the man's comment, and so for a single second, as he uttered those words, he stopped channeling the force. His eyes saw the next half second in slow motion as Seo dropped several inches closer to the floor. Resubmerging himself in the force, he closed his eyes again and lifted his hands once more.

When he reopened his eyes, Seo was staring daggers at him. Her golden eyes had an aspect of red in them, as if they had been kindled by something. His eyebrows lowered as revelation donned on him. A small grinned formed on his face for half a second, but then he slipped back into the guidance of the force.

"That's because you have been beat up, but you'll make it. I've seen others survive worse wounds with less bacta."

"I'll get her out of the facility, but my ship is toast. Make sure you kill that guy and not vice versa."

The latter part of his comment was directed toward the man she had called Ron. They both clearly knew eachother, but he wasn't about to ask either of them why right now. He hadn't seen Ron around the Republic Order before, so he chalked it up to them both being Silvers and left it at that as he began walking himself and her floating form towards the chamber's entry door.

Jumping into the fray against the Dark Jedi
It was then in between the growing tension in the room along with the thin veil insults tossed about had been at best added to trying his patience to some extent. That he opts to not so much attempt the first strike in the attack launched at him by the dark figure face him. To which at best he could that he ops to redirect and channel the slight temper rage to aid in mask his force signature thought he knew all too well. That in doing so at this stage and time was at best a dangerous tight walk take given his history but then again he'd hope that if nothing else. That this could serve to help him gauge how much or little his time spent on his personal sojourn of training had been in tempering the dark lurking shadows within him.

And that so far so good he seems been able to do well hold his ground ... till such time that in a seemingly unexpected move. The one faces him (Dark Jedi) had let his mask slip...and show him haunting reminder no less similar to one he'd know in the past. One which had haunted him so for quite some time as he stares deep into the Orange hues of the Dark Jedi Hate filled eyes. Haunting as it was taunting him of that day in the past...leave him momentarily frozen in place.

Till in a blink of an eye he felt the smoke bomb of sort roll off the floor to engage then feeling the weaken force push hit him in quick succession. That it causes him to raise his arm and react as he slowly staggers back a few steps due to the attack. As he faintly hears the strange Mando words as he moved for their retreat which he was reluctant to do so. But then again for her, he relented as he instead thru the force grab hold of whatever structure or object he could get to drop between them. Hope it could leas cover their escape or render some damage to the stranger enough covers their track.

"GO..."

he utters thru the force at the armored individual (Mereel)...

Still coughing, the Dark Jedi began marching forward in the direction he sensed the Mandalorian retreating, but before he had taken more than two steps, a free-standing light tower that had been responsible for providing light to the newly constructed lab room groaned as the supports struggled against the Jedi's grip in the force. The top of the light tower tilted as the supports failed to keep the top-heavy piece of equipment from being pulled down towards him.

The Dark Jedi's feet sprang backwards, but he had pulled back far too late. His right side was impacted by one of the tower's massive light fixtures as it fell, and shards of glass exploded out from the bulbs and into his right arm when the icy blue blade of Mereel's lightsaber came into contact with the closest light fixtures.

"Arhgghhh. Hhhhhhhhh. Jedi filth!"

Gaurav spun away from the fallen light tower, seething with pain and rage. His right arm was bleeding profusely, but he choked back his rushed breathing as his anger freely empowered him. His right hand gripped Mereel's lightsaber tight, and his left used the force to summon his own lightsaber that had been blocked to the ground after his earlier saber throw.

Wielding two blue blades, Gaurav slowly ambled towards the Jedi that had not retreated. His orange eyes glared his murderous intent at the man as the smoke closed in, filling the air that had been cleared by his force push. The Dark Jedi was now relying on his force senses and the glow of the lightsabers in the room to find and strike down the Jedi.. but there was a slight problem. He couldn't sense the Jedi at all.

"If you think your force concealment and some smoke will save you, you are mistaken.."

He thought he saw the glow of lightsaber blades directly ahead of him now, but he made no effort to conceal his own presence in the force as he approached through the smoky haze. Concealment was a tool for the weak, for those who were neither strong nor skilled enough to combat their own opponents. He couldn't tell if the Jedi was truly past the ghostly glow where he thought the man would be, but Gaurav swung out at the smoke choked air with both of his lightsabers. His left arm carried its normal power, but the power behind the swing of the lightsaber in his right hand proved wanting, and as a result the attack was not only blind and wild, but also uncoordinated with sloppy bladework.

[member="Mereel Vaun"] [member="Seo Linn"] [member="Ronin Wendigo"]

The telepathic message that [member="Ronin Wendigo"] had sent to him was another inadvertent mistep that threw Mereel out of focus. Unfamiliar telepathic connections popping up in his head to tell him stuff gave Mereel the creeps, and that was exactly what Ronin's message was.

A shivering spasm ran through both of his arms, and once again Seo's elevation would dip for a second as Mereel reestablished his connection to the force. She fell towards the ground for only a second, and he quickly levitated her back up to her previous height at chest level.

"Sorry, cyar'ika. Telepathy."

He didn't give any further explanation than that because she wouldn't need one. The ground shook beneath his feet as they reached the door to the hallway, but when he glanced back to try to see what had happened to cause the quake, he only saw smoke.

Using the force, he hit the release on the door control panel and walked himself and hovered Seo out into the hallway. They entered the hall and the door shut behind them. A revelation dawned on him as he started walking down the hallway, back the way he had first came from.

"Oh, osik. I left my lightsaber back in there."

Jumping into the fray against the Dark Jedi
It was at that time soon after he'd figured his message had been at the very least received by the armored stranger (Mereel) albeit due to the situation at hand had been sent with. Not the greatest fineness nor careful grace but rather a somewhat straightforwardness or directness. That its shockwave had no less reverberated thru towards his intended recipient that he sense their departure soon after. Which none the less gave him a somewhat faint solace as to what was to transpire next.
Wherein with a vengeful seething rage brought upon by both his injury as well the very thought of being challenged. That the Dark Jedi then soon launched himself forward. Arm with not only his own saber but that of the other (Mereel). Both Lunging as well slashing thru the thicken haze of dust and debris brought about by his earlier attack. That he then letting his hand drop the side let his own saber drop down towards his open palm. Grasping then ignite them as soon they slip within his hands. Before lifting them up into a containing block of the Dark Jedi saber. He then pushes swat them aside before turn them both around to then pull back then counter with a force push aim at the dark jedi.

One which was aim to push him but a step back and afford him enough space for his own counter.

He wasn't trained to be a Sith, and his near continuous use of anger-laced force was starting to take its familiar psychological tolls on him. The Dark Jedi saw the world through a layer of red, and his senses felt all at once both heightened and numbed, in the sense that he did not feel in control of himself.

And the reality of the situation was that Gaurav really wasn't in control of himself. Gaurav had been trained by Jedi who taught him to fight without the 'distraction' of primal emotions. As a result, whenever the Dark Jedi gave himself over fully to the dark, he became a unfocused puppet, and results varied drastically. Gaurav did not view the lone Jedi who had remained a threat. He saw the man only as a roadblock to him attaining his prize, and as a result, he had freely allowed his contempt and anger to channel through him.

Gaurav's overconfidence would cost him. The Jedi blocked the strikes of both his blades, and followed through on the block by parrying his swings to the side, leaving him wide open to attack. Before he could recover from the Jedi's bladework, a blast of telekinetic energy slammed squarely into his chest. Gaurav began stumbling back several steps, incapable of retaliating against the Jedi because he was too busy trying to keep himself standing upright.

Jumping into the fray against the Dark Jedi
It was then at that time that for whatever reason that one he though not consciously but unconsciously unaware of in the heat of the moment slowly came about. One which given the seem uncommon life and training that he had been exposed to from early time of his life to the present began emerge. One which though unconventional seem served to do well aid him in the conflict. Wherein despite the seething rage, he felt for or against the Dark Jedi his mind seems to somehow done well to keep focuse. As he rather than be a slave to it seem did well to harness in order to reinforce his own attack and give it the much-needed impact.

As seem at that time he slowly began put in a decent enough defense to hold his own ground as rage soon was replace by purpose. One which as one who'd traverse and came so close to the edge .... balancing by the knife edge between dark and light he somehow found a faint middle ground. However remote or lose his grasp of it was he no less held out long enough to set his mind to grasp one thing....that which to seem darkness that he saw before him be brought to some sort of finality.

As with one well-timed strike he had been able to push the dark jedi back as vision somewhat blurred. So that rather than just the dark jedi he saw the vague wraith of the embodiment of the dark shadow which had haunted him for some time. One which rather than anything else push him to act....as with the enemy now unbalance and barely able hold his ground. That he lunged ahead slashing forth to aim one saber at one the dark jedi hand. One which at that time held the armor jedi saber....hope if nothing else than to dislodge it from his grasp to take. As he continued pushing him back with a few more volleys of mix saber slash and force attack of which incorporated teaching from one his more recent Master...

Instead of rolling with the force of the man's blows or attempting to evade the Jedi's future attacks by surrendering ground, Gaurav's feet finally planted on the ground beneath him. What he had done was a gesture of defiance towards the Jedi - intended to show him that even after he had been injured again and again, the man was too weak to force him to back down.

He should have backed down.

Too late to act, his eyes saw one of his foe's lightsabers approach his hand in slow motion. He felt a warmth in his hand for a single second before the sensation was replaced by sharp pain. The Jedi's lightsaber cut cleanly through his hand, sending it and the Mandalorian's lightsaber flying off somewhere into the smoke. The hatred and anger he had been using to fuel him gave way to pain and disbelief that a Jedi had bested him.

In a state of shock, the Dark Jedi's right hand instinctively dropped his lightsaber and he moved to clutch the cauterized stump that was the only remnant of what had been his left hand a moment before. Disarmed of both weapons, Gaurav received the full brunt of the Jedi's volley of saber strikes and the force attack that followed it.

Orange diagonal streaks glowed across his chest as he fell to his knees, and he slid backwards across the floor when the force attack came. He came to a halt when his legs behind him hit one of the room's walls, his feet bending unnaturally and bones fracturing as they came into contact with the wall. Several of his ribs were broken, his back had taken a serious blow from the light tower, his chest had been sliced several times by lightsaber strikes, his breathing was choked and irregular, there was an acute pain in his hand, and at least one of his ankles had broken. He had pain, but he did not have the resolve to utilize the excessive supply that he had - the fact that a single Jedi had bested him was too devastating of a fact for him to come to grips with.
