Dantooine, woohoo...

[member="Una Gal"]

Even though his aura was still filled with sadness, nothing but that coming off him, his face now held a smile as he looked at her, not a single tear in his eyes. They retained their sadness though as he spoke, a soft voice that held nothing more than the kindness and peace he had shown earlier erupted from him. "Its ok, i may be sad but you can't cry over the past, you have to remember them for those that they were. That is why i am probably in better control of my emotions than most you jedi, i acknowledge and hold those emotions in the forefront, but it does not mean i don't have control on them. If i didn't the people in the settlement would all be dead, and i would be here with tears in my eyes the rest of my live." His words were an obvious strike at the Jedi code, but he said them as if they were the truth, he held control on his emotions, the Jedi simply pushed them down.

Una huffed and pulled her hand away from Solan's back, lowering herself onto the floor beside him. She thought for a few silent moments before she spoke aloud, her eyes remaining focused on the two graves ahead. "I like to think of the code as a guideline for life rather than mandatory rules. Emotions are the ones that give you motivation to get out of bed in the morning. Or the reason why most even bother to do anything in this forsaken Galaxy. Emotions are there to guide you through life and teach you things you'd never learn otherwise." She had noticed the spiteful comment toward the Jedi. And it was true that most of her fellow brothers and sisters followed the code like a law set down by the galaxy itself. But not Una. And she knew a few few others that didn't as well.

"Are you sure you are a Jedi, im starting to think you are a Sith in disguise. Or atleast like me and neither." He smiled at her, the sadness gone at her words and filled with a wanting to get right to why they came here. "I think its time we started your training, race you back to the home... i promise i wont use the force, too much." He smiled and stood, starting to run the five minutes back.

Una raised a brow and thought about his comment. Perhaps she was neither? She had never been presented with decent information on the Sith to make an informed decision. Half way through making a mental note, she was interrupted by the word "race". Una turned her head just in time to see Solan dart off in the opposite direction. She clawed herself up off the floor and began at a fast sprint to catch him up. The quick wind whipping at her face certainly didn't help. "Wait, you haven't told me how..." Already struggling for breath, she pushed forward a little faster to be on par with him.

He smiled back at her, happy and full of life as he looked at her eyes. "How what?" He smiled wide as he noticed she was having a harder time than he and began to drop back a bit, letting her struggle less so that she might even win. "Hmm?" His eyes stared at hers and for a moment he was lost and almost tripped, a stupid grin as he faced his head forward again.

All at once, she focused on the force. Her mind had been distracted previously and now she felt a little more free, she remembered all. Focusing on the force she dispelled it to all areas of her body, letting it fill to the brim. At first, nothing happened. She just kept running and running and running. One step at a time. Solan was running beside her at the same speed. It was uneventful. As she willed herself to go faster she felt the word around her begin to blur. All of a sudden she couldn't feel the ground beneath her. The force was whipping her body along at full speed, leaving Solan behind. But Una guessed she wouldn't be on her own for long.

He blinked and watched as she used force speed and likely without realizing it... or she tricked him and did know it... either way he was too shocked to react for the first seconds before he himself did the same. His body moved slowly up beside her as he grinned and tapped her shoulder, shaking his head as he pushed himself a bit faster, just a bit though, taunting her to go faster too.

It all came as such a surprise. But the sensation was incredible. She could barely see her legs moving underneath her as she ran. Completely lost in the moment she didn't realize that Solan was beside her until she felt the tap on her shoulder. Una watched him speed up a little and gain the head way by a few seconds. Cursing, she shoved her body forward and tried to catch up. "You're experience. No fair!" Her legs were carrying her as fast as they could and Una could feel her will power running out. Her muscles were beginning to ache. But they were almost there.

"All fair in love and w-" And he tripped, he wished he had planned it, he really really wish he had planned it. Down he went, face first and rolling over the ground like he had just been thrown out of a plane, stopping a few meters away from the home with himself flat on his back and groaning as he just laid there. "Rule one, always keep an icepack when you are using this power..."

Una couldn't help it. She watched Solan trip and stumble, skidding across the floor for a few meters. The force in her body vanished and brought her muscles to a slow and steady stop. But they ached heavily as she turned around to find Solan face up on the ground. She burst into laughter, leaning her body forward as she tried hard to catch her breath. Between laughing too hard and the simple fact that she was exhausted, she went into a silent laugh, desperately trying to suck in air and calm herself down at the same time. "Fuck. I'm so sorry Solan..." She finally managed to get some air to her lungs. "Are you alright?"

"Ya im fine, rib might have jabbed my lung, but im just peachy." He groaned as he sat up and smiled, the thing that seemed to never leave him was that stale, bad humor of his. "So, you realize where you are standing right? You won." He looked at where she stood, thinking on how if he hadn't tripped he would have won and with that thought a silent word left his mind to the gods. He didn't follow one religion, he merely said the Gods, because he really hadn't picked up a religion that he found to be right for him.

She beamed and put her hands on her hips, striking the most heroic pose she could manage. She held her position for a few seconds then changed it, showing off her clearly boosted ego. "Well thank you Mr. Charr. I must say it was a close call there." Taking a few steps forward, she offered her hand out to help him up. "I think you can take the win for this one too. I've never done that before. I guess competition helps."

He grinned and took it, pulling himself up and smiling as he dusted off his robes. "Well, then i happily accept the winnings... i do get credits right?" His joke sounded as he still was interested in how she had picked up on the force power so... easily, unless she had had training before she had just done that without even knowing how. "Question, Force Speed, has anyone ever taught you the basics?"
