Karl looked at the holoprojection with pure curiosity. He had heard of coreplast, but never considered it as part of a composite armor layout on a ship. Even as talented as he considered himself, there was still much to learn in this ever-changing, ever-expanding galaxy.
"This is quite the invention Mr. Du'thra, and quite the generosity to Moff Mecetti as well." He smiled, showing his joy of engineering. "It's superb that it works that well at only three meters in thickness. Despite being hefty, I think it would still be lighter than some of the armor-plating I've put on ships."
He would wait for a response and indulge Mr. Du'thra in his engineering exploits for a few minutes longer. Allowing all of them to strengthen and build relationships with one another. But then would get back to business.
He looked to Maldor and then to Rasnuhl. He set whatever holopad he currently held in his hands down. "Now gentlemen, I have two items I would like to get to. Item one is the loyalty of Emperor Kilran's clones. I know they were extremely loyal to the late emperor, and now I'm wondering if they'll continue their loyalty to the Empire or swear allegiance to his daughter... to the new Empress." His mind drifted to Kanni, she had just lost her father. How is she doing? Has anyone checked in on her? All the fears of a father were brought into reality before continuing, "The troopers aboard the Nucleus haven't begun slaughtering the engineers, yet. Nor do I hear reports of huge outrage among the troopers throughout the empire. I hope you all have heard as little as I?"
Karl hadn't been here as long as the other Moffs, so he knew little about the clones' tenacity, abilities, or skills. Of course, he had read the reports on them and understood them from a tactical and bioengineering standpoint. But he was anxious to hear what the others thought or what they knew.
