Cassius Droma
Jedi Archaeologist
Once he saw that his friend had jumped to hyperspace, Cassius put in the coordinates for Kashyyyk and pressed the silver handle forward. After a high-pitched squeal from the engines, the Stardust Melody burst into lightspeed, leaving behind any sort of reinforcements that might have headed their way.
Heaving a sigh, Cassius sat back in his chair. Taking out the data card where he had made a copy of the information from Ar’ekk’s criminal syndicate, he slowly turned with his fingers, watching the blue light of hyperspace reflect off of it. The mechanical sound of T-4D4’s servos could be heard as the tall droid came back into the cockpit and took his normal seat at the co-pilot’s chair.
“I hope it was worth it,” T-4D4 uttered.
“I think so,” Cassius said casually, almost as if he hadn’t just been in a fight for his life against a massive criminal organization. With the information he had, the Silvers could take down an entire illegal operation, which made Cassius feel like he was making an actual difference in the galaxy – like he was a Jedi. Knowing that the adrenaline rush would soon make him crash, however, Cassius stood from his pilot’s chair and headed for the door.
“I’m gonna head in – let me know if anything happens,” Cassius said over his shoulder, and T-4D4 nodded in the affirmative. He knew that it would be close to morning on Kashyyyk by the time they got back, so he figured he could get started on trying to get to sleep as soon as he could.
