Special Features: Unlike most lightsabers, the focusing crystal on this saber is clearly visible in the hilt. An incredibly rare krayt dragon pearl, casts the blade in an orange glow. Built by Darth Moreth on Tatooine, from the pearl and bone of a krayt dragon she killed herself, the pearl is attuned specifically to the Dark Side Master. But it is a fickle thing....
Strengths:
+ IF ATTUNED (see below)- Moreth's krayt dragon pearl, properly attuned, can increase the wielder's skill with this particular lightsaber. It is not enough to turn a novice in to a prodigy, but the weapon becomes an extension of the bearer's will, making maneuvering and utilizing it easier and faster.
Weaknesses:
- The Krayt Dragon pearl is attuned to Darth Moreth. With time and meditation, someone else can imprint on the crystal. But the original imprint will never fully leave it. The pearl is attuned to passion, to unpredictability- to the Dark Side. The saber itself can be wielded by anyone, but only someone willing to connect to the crystal can gain the additional skill in the strengths above.
- Made from durasteel and krayt dragon bone, the saber hilt is susceptible to destruction by other sabers.
- Lightsabers are a poor weapon choice against slug throwers. This one is no exception.
Description: Lovingly crafted by Darth Moreth, this lightsaber is a work of art that showcases the extreme beauty of Tatooine in the eyes of its creator. Hailing from the desert planet, Moreth always considered that parched landscape not merely home, but an integral part of herself.
The third saber built by the volatile and vivacious Sith, she spent weeks traveling the desert alone in search of a particular Krayt Dragon- one that had almost killed her during her days as an apprentice. Claiming it's life this time, she created a lightsaber from multiple parts of the creature, crafting the saber with the utmost care and attention to detail.
