You stated that you haven't met curtain people. Those are a particular kind of folk who make clothes out of curtains...you know, like Scarlet from Gone with the wind...William Thatcher (Sir Orick from Lichtenstein) from A Knight's Tale...
They made curtain clothes..making them curtain people.
Anywho, I was just stating that they are people like us, despite their taste in clothes ts'all.
And of my grandmother's gowns; I just wanted to let you know I'm not a shopaholic or fashion diva. I love classical gowns and don't have to have the latest styles. People get the wrong impression of me.
Aside from all that, the same people think I talk too much. They're wrong too.

I have no idea who knitted it. I don’t normally ask who don’t ask who made my clothing when I buy it from the store.
What I meant by my earlier statement is I do not know many people here because it has been a long time since I’ve retuned to Alderaan. My own mother does not even know where I’ve been. I’ve not met any of my younger siblings. Alderaan is just a painful reminder of something I had lost. I’m not angry with Alderaan. It is just too much of a painful memory.

But how can Alderaan itself cause you such sorrow? I mean, well I was heartbroken to see the sith wreck their havoc on our world and of all the suffering they caused. But that was because I love Alderaan and all of our people.

Just because I look healthy it does not mean I am. The Sith attack you speak of, it was not the first time they attacked. They had attacked before. One of those times they had attack. Well they used Vong Tech to alter some of us that were captured. I just happened to be one of them.

How old is Bud (Alderaani born) if he were not altered? Faith is quite young to have a 30-something year old son.
Funny, I've been writing Karlie (my alt) for years being force dead too. Only it was her choice. She accomplished it through her research project Sebrix-9. (Her mother was a sith)
She although feels more alive and no longer has those voices whispering in the back of her mind... lol

Bud looks older then what he is because of the side effect of the vong alterations. He could have looked more like a monster, sometimes though he act more like a monster. He is brutal and some people view his actions like he has no sympathy. Also remember Faith father is not of Alderaan. He is a Kashi who has a long life span. His descendants have inherited not just a long life span.
As for what Bud is loyal to? Bud is still loyal to family. Alderaan is still a very raw powerful emotion. He was not married by Alderaan law. The woman he viewed being married to by Mando’ade customs was an Alderaan noble. Because of the complications between Von Tech and the birth of Kista, she died.
Everything about Alderaan reminds him of her. That is why it will seem like most times he hates Alderaan. He does not hate Alderaan. He is just a man in pain missing someone he loves.

He is in the Alderaan rebuilding thread. He coming for his informant that was supposed to tell him Alderaan was under attack. He missed the opertunity to see if he would come because of some greedy bastard took a pay off from a traitor to Alderaan.
That bit of the story that is happening in the thread will be dark. The only laws Bud follows are those of Mando’ade tradition. There is only one course of action in his mind.
