Dead guys are distracting…

Corvus spoke to the assembled Padawans and Younglings.

“Once there were around ten thousand Jedi Knights defending the galaxy. We had small outposts, temples, spread throughout the stars."

"The Empire nd One Sith sought out these temples and destroyed many of them — but not all," she said. "I came to Lothal, it was my sister’s idea, and I found this place.”

She gestured to a large rock on the plains. One of the Younglings sniggered and a hand went up. “Master Raaf, I mean Corvus…there’s no Temple there.”

The were all seated on the ground, facing the small mountain, Corvus with her back to it.

She smiled, as she was prone to do. “Feel the Force…all of you.”

And as one they closed their eyes. They connected to the Force. They felt it in the birds around them. Teye felt it in the blades of grass growing beneath them. They even felt it in the occasional mound that interrupted the plains. But the one large stone stood out, like a strange artefact from another age. And the Force took their minds inside, as if solid rock was nothing. They found themselves in a chamber that narrowed into a tunnel, where at its end blazed a bright, bright star.

The collective oohs and aahs were almost deafening. The Jedi temple was right there, on Lothal.

Corvus indicated they should all stand and follow her. They walked around the stone. It was solid, without anything resembling an entrance.

“Now…close your eyes and feel the world around the stone. The temple is not in the rock, but under it.”

“And it will admit us. Together."

Energy surged through Corvus' raised arm, pouring out toward the stone. The ground quaked and there was a tremendous cracking.

“Whoa," said the young Jedi as one.

“With practice you shall be able to open the entrance yourselves. Initially it may take two or three of you.”

The huge stone had been corkscrewed partially out of the ground, revealing a hollow cavity buried beneath. The entrance to the Jedi temple.

“This isn’t Ossus, it’s Lothal. So we have to start from scratch. We have many plans and we need some help. Who volunteers?”

Every hand was raised and Corvus beamed. “I thought so…follow me.”

"Starting from scratch is sometimes needed, I think," Taeli said, walking up to group of students that Corvus had been instructing about the new home they were working on. "Sis, I just wanted to let you know the supplies just arrived in orbit and should be ready to be moved into the temple soon. I made sure that the shipments couldn't be traced, so we're good on that. Made the convoy take a ludicrous route to the system and made sure to check at every stop for tracking beacons and followers."

Taeli was taking a more practical side in the remodel for the new Jedi home and base. She fully intended to get the archives firmly re-established and get the research portions of the place in check, but then that was her being a Jedi Researcher and historian for you.

"Did you ummm take care of the ... you know ... unfortunate waiters while you and Braith were inside?" she whispered so the students couldn't hear.

There was so much going on as Matsu looked at the temple, her forearm pad and palm holo working with the equipment in her belt. Slowly though watching Corvus talk with a grin she remained still and at the ready in case of anything letting the lightside energies from her robes come off her body as she coordinated with the Sasori jedi teams. They were rebuilding and fixing up a temple with a lot of things and instead of just cleaning and clearing everything.. recycle it within the converters as the models were being worked on and upgraded with the new information and technology they had gleamed from Belsavis. She could turn junk and broken equipment into new things for their use before anything and the solid state maproom for interaction was something requested. So they could input the data from the jedi city as well as monitoring stations. "The work is impressive grandmaster and we do have some things to go forward with and." She trailed off bringing up her holoimage as they were moving. "We have the stuff to help build up the temple."

Corvus bowed to her sister as she approached. “Excellent work Taeli. I have a trip planned very soon for materials that should allow us to cloak the hangars. Aerial surveillance won’t identify any ships or buildings on the ground — and given this is a remote spot, in a remote region, on a remote planet, we shouldn’t be easily detected.”

“And yes,” she chuckled, “There are no surprises inside, and we have lighting in place now. So we have power, heating, water and the beginnings of a computer network ready. So if you need some willing volunteers to help you, I have more than a few here.”

And then she turned her attention to Matsu. “Again, most impressive. This is not Ossus, granted. But it is Lothal. Fewer opportunities to go wandering in the sunshine — my daily runs will need to be thought through — but in many ways a more secure arrangement. And a new Academy and Temple for a new era, yes?”

She smiled. “Again, if you need any help, we have plenty of eager students willing to lend a hand.”

She had entered the temple before, knowing Corvus and the others would arrive with more younglings and even more supplies. She however had scouted ahead further. The entire place was stricken with age, and everything remained untouched by life, only basking in the energy of the Force. The aura would be extremely strong here and thus a perfect location for the Order to prosper once again.

She had her apprentices, [member="Kitani Corandel"] and [member="Caleb Brolen"] enter with her. Essentially what they were looking for were areas that were completely eroded away. It was dark, but the light from above the surface casts a lowlight blue hue throughout the walkway in certain areas.

Eventually they came to a expansive area that had an echo of water drips off into the distance. She was immediately impressed, and figure the area would be a perfect location for the Academy to take root. This temple would need an area for the young to train. She turned to the others and smirked as she took a couple of steps down a staircase that was riddled with time.

"This seems a perfect area for training don't you think? Perhaps we should give it a try and make sure its the right size? Come"

They hadn't touched basis on lightsaber techniques, so she thought it was better to take advantage of this situation and lay the foundation.

The temple was...interesting at first glance but hey with enough work it had potential. Master [member="Shmi Labooda"] had brought me and @Katani Corandel here to scout out the temple and see if anything was still lurking around. We then came to an open room that would be perfect for training. For a matter of fact that was what master Shmi wanted to practice our lightsaber training while the construction and general preparation was finishing up. I then said "Whenever you want to start master". I took position at the side of the room and took up a combination of Shii-cho and Niman. This would be my first duel with Master Labooda so I would be sure not to disappoint.

Matsu looked at Corvus and bowed her head as she brought up the information she had gotten when she had been here with Ciel searching for the ghost and the saber she wanted to find. Her eyes going over some of the things while releasing some of the drones they had at the ready as she had ones for different purposes to go and search. "I'll send in the drones and they'll be able to scan and scout for us. She was looking over a couple of the things while droids were working on bringing in one of the Sasori Joshū converters for use here with supplies as she spoke with the droids. "Go and work, any debris bring back here to us and we will work with it." Matsu kept the motion for them to go off while she spoke looking at Shmi. "We can work with some of the training rooms and if we find enough space there are solid holographic rooms we have built to work with teaching on stations. It is a little safer and keep an eye out for a room we can setup the maprooms."

Walking through the temple entrance with everyone else he looked at the decayed walls and rooms; they had potential but it would take time. Working his way from hall way to hall way, room to room; he could imagine what was and what could soon be. After some time exploring and inadvertently losing the bulk of the group in his travels, he found a large plain.

The floor was mostly unpaved unlike the majority of the areas of the temple that he had previously seen thus far. "A garden maybe ...?" he thought to himself, walking closer to the center of the apparently barren field. Kneeling down and placing his palm against the earth that had be flattened and seemingly devoid of life for decades; he could feel a lingering sensation. "Still hanging in there I see" he muttered to himself as he closed his palm into the earth, clawing up a small portion of soil. He could feel life in the soil, it was still fertile after all this time. Giving a satisfied smile at the notion of new life in the temple he knelt down again and unhooked the clasp of his belt. Placing it to the side along with his lightsaber and other utilities, useful tho they may be; he would not need them for this task.

For the longest time he sat in a meditative position on the floor, stretching out with the force into the soil around him; trying to feel where the potentials for life where. He thought to himself "This will be enough ... This field could be a garden... a place of meditation .... somewhere to grow food maybe ? ... there will be plenty to feed soon enough. But before that ...". The Neti slowly rotated his shoulders, loosening his back and neck. He began to feel his skin stiffen and his limbs slowly elongate as he attempted to revert himself into his species natural state. His jedi robes, now uncoupled by his belt shifted around his changing frame as his body grew and branches sprawled out.

The metamorphosis took sometime but finally he had reached his natural state. In the once empty field now stood large tree-like figure, fresh foliage covered his branches; his roots ingrained themselves into the soil, seeking out the points of life. Once connected he began feeding his force energy into the soil nurturing it, encouraging it to grow and be more then it was. It would take some time but soon this field would be ready and ripe with potential. He was still conscious in this form and could commune with others; however it would be a number of hours until he could revert back to his humanoid form and move again; by which time the field would be ready.

Amy had learned rumors of a temple on Lothal. The young woman had carefully made her way to where she believed it would be but only saw grass land and large rocks. She softly sighed to herself as she whiped the sweat off her face. Her eyes closed as she tried to concentrate. She could hear that odd whisling sound again which would tell her where to go. Her force senses working hard to help her find the temple. As she walked a bit further she wandered upon an odd shaped rock. Looking around she hoped a jedi could be here, to possibly help her find the entrace.

Matsu could sense more were arriving and she turned claspin her hands while she looked over towards the new arrivls with the entrance of the temple raised and open. "Welcome padawans welcome. Please come and help with the different areas. Do as you need to help straighten up and fix the temple. We'll be able to see to your training or assignments afterwards. I am master Matsu Ike and you two are?" She said bowing to them and looking at Corvus and Shmi. They were the important ones but she had been in the temple exploring it before now. THey might be able to work on some of the things here.

She blinked a few times as she was called a padawan. looking around at some of the younger children arriving. Amy was in her late teens. She wasnt sure if she could even be trained. closing her eyes she nervously smiled. She slowly walked into the temple as she nervously smiled at the one who called themselves Master Matsu.

" M..My name is Amy Isabella Jarrus." She spoke in a shaky confused nervous tone.

Matsu looked at her and raised an eyebrow going forward with a smile. "There is no need to be nervous young one, the temple is just another home for you. We can easily fix it up and stuff." She said it shrugging though while looking at the children. "Now young ones you go and work on finding a place we can put the new dormitories." She shooed them off while looking back at her. "Well you aren't wearing the traditional robes but that is good, a hidden temple is hard to keep secret if we all showed up planet side in robes." She offered a smile and motioned for her to follow. "Come along and you can tell me about yourself. I like getting to know the padawans."

She blinked looking down at her basic clothing. she dressed as a smuggle to fit in and not be noticed but she understood a bit what she meant. Slipping her bag off her shoulders she looked at the master before her before pulled out a smaller bag and two light sabers.. "t..this might seem odd but i found these on..the black market. Along with some old it looks like Jedi Holocrons. " She held out the smaller bag that had the holocrons and the two lightsabers. " the rumor is that these belonged to two jedi masters who were supposadly killed during the order. " She spoke in a slighty sad tone.

Matsu was looking at her and listening as she raised an eyebrow and holocrons and lightsabers. Now that was a padawan to come and see them while she was thinking about it. "Well this is certainly helpful, it will go a long way towards rebuilding the order and hopefully reuniting most of it." Matsu kept walking and now was holdiong a hand to illuminate some of the old rooms. "As for the rest, you should keep the sabers, perhaps the jedi's spirits will bestow upon you fortune and good tidings with the force." Matsu looked back at her. "Besides you finding them was the will of the force and finding us here. It is wise to listen to its instructions."

she nodded placing the sabers back into her bag. A small smile on her face. " ever since i picked them up ive heard a voice tellinng me to seak out other jedi. That i should be trained in the force. " She spoke in a warm loving manner. " For the last four years ive carried them with me. The jedi who used to own thems voice would tell me if there were any dangers near by. They also taught me the basic of meditation. " She stopped then Master Matsu did. Looking around the new temple she softly smiled. " rumor has it with those holocrons they were from tython. "

Reconstruct the Circles

Cathbodua was there, the bodysuited jedi knight was trying to ensure their healers were getting trained and stronger. That took time and effort that they could dedicate as she arrived at the tmple and moved to make quick work with some of the droids for construction. They wanted to get the subbasement and levels made to hold different rooms and environments further down, maybe some for food and she was looking at some of the cloning tech they might be able to use to clone the meats and animals for food instead of trying to raise them up above. "We will begin working, the circle of seers if we can get some of the rooms rebuilt."

Matsu looked at her and bowed her head. "Yes they likely were, one of the grandmasters took the holocraons away for herself and I had hoped a couple f them managed to get away. Glad to see my hope has been in a good place." Her smile though at the idea of many things kept forward and she was going into one of the rooms. "As for your training padawan, it will be able to happen. You'll be trained as a jedi I can promise that much. How you will take to it my padawan though will be a different story. So come and see what you are joining."

She nodded her head as she entered the area where the other padawans were. It looks like a massive meeting room. Looking around she walked next to some of the younger kids. she softly smiled at herslef, for once in her life she felt like she belonged. Sitting down on the ground next to a few of the younger padawans she waited for who was to speak to everyone to come. She was still a bit nervous but she felt as if someones hand was on her shoulder a calming feeling overcame her a few seconds later.

Matsu was standing there looking at all of them and bowed her head as she started with the drones to set up and begin the real challenge. Getting the holoprojectors online within the room.and she spoke. "Well we have all of you padawans in here, that is good and we'll be able to do some things with that as we work on getting the temple rebuiult. Pay attention and be safe though I don't want you young ones running off into the temple and getting lost in the caves or worse in the ruined sections. Stay out of the droids way and anything you find use with the converters to get processed for what we can reuse." She moved to the center of the room and in the lacking of holoprojectors held up her hands reaching out with the white current as she formed the illusions and thoughts. "For those who are new welcome to the jedi and for the rest. Welcome to Lothal the new temple, you'll be able to find many things." She was making the illusions show the planet as a galaxy map and images of other jedi moving around. "Your first lessons will be here and searching out to help the grandmaster clean this place up."

Landscaping:

It was unclear how much time had passed since his hibernation began but he could feel that the job had been done. He began to draw in his long spindly branches, slowly shrinking his body down. It took some time but eventually he reached a humanoid shape. His leaves were now sprawling roots that spread over his head and face; his branches bound together to create arms. His skin began to soften from dry bark to a supple green skin-like texture.

Fastening his belt to complete his robes and re-attaching his lightsaber, he looked around to see the field was covered in lush grass. It took a lot out of him but the ground was ready for a number of uses; what the field would be assigned as wasn't for him to decide. "leave that for the masters" he muttered to himself, his voice slightly hoarse from dehydration; nothing that couldn't be fixed. Dusting himself off he left the field in search for the other padawans and masters. There was still plenty to do
