Dead guys are distracting…

[member="Corvus Raaf"]

While others went rushing off to do ... whatever they wanted to do, Taeli had gone down into the temple with a specific goal in mind on what she was hoping to build here. Her people had found all the necessary materials and such for rebuilding the archives in the old style after some painstaking research and purchases.

"Well, this is a nice spot," she mumbled to herself, looking around the wide open area that was in a sub-section of the Temple. Plenty of space, areas where tables and study cubicles could be set up ... perfect access to the power systems here. Yes, this area would do quite nicely. Hmm, aesthetics could do with some changing though.

"Hyal, can you get out interior decorators down here as well," Taeli said into her comlink as the first workers started to bring the crates and such into the area. "I have a few ideas on what we might make it look like, something calm and peaceful."

Kitani walked in behind her Master, the place seem to be alive and even called out to her; She felt at peace and so attune with the force. The younglings that arrived with Master Corvus only brought a smile to her face. Master Ike was here as well and she could only guess that she was handling the technological aspect of the temple. She kept up with her Master, picking up her pace, as she spoke of a room for training just beyond the stairs. She descends to take a gander at field and nods with agreement,
" It does seem very spacious Master, But i doubt i'll be able to test out with you and Caleb"

She lets out a small sigh as pats her waist.

" I'm still a light saber short "
The female had yet to participate in the gathering or rather she was waiting for her gathering to take place soon enough.

Corvus walked off alone, Braith’s staff in her hand. She followed the corridors through a set of turns and junctions until she came to a relatively small (at least for the Temple) meditation room. She hadn’t seen it since she’d given the specifications, so there was a sense of suspense as she opened the door. But she knew prior to entering it would be as it was on Ossus - a room she'd visited six thousand times before.

She beamed, it was how she imagined it to be. The room was covered in mossy floors and several trees stood around her. There was a sense of life and vitality in the room, and if one listened carefully you could hear animals playing amongst the trees. In the centre of the room there was a small, gentle waterfall cascading into a pond. She knew without looking that there were fish swimming in the water.

“One of your favourite places," she said, thinking of Master [member="Kian Karr"]. It was a very peaceful place. One where you can reach a calmness needed to begin the journey into telepathy or meditation.

She knelt down upon the rocks at the edge of the pond and took several deep calming breaths, allowing her hand to trail in the water. She was sure he would approve. Wherever he was.

She turned towards [member="Kitani Corandel"] with a smirk, and she reached out with her right arm. Her robes then fell to reveal her hand and thus a cylindrical shaped device that was similar in appearance to a standard lightsaber. "Take this, this a training lightsaber. Standard in its appearance and its use. Seems like your no longer a lightsaber short." she said bowing her head, as if she were motioning for the girl to take it.

She would take her place in front of Caleb soon after, she didn't intend for this sparring session to persist for very much because she knew Caleb had been brought up on some basics and she had to teach Kitani some maneuvers as well. "Kitani I want you to play close attention to the swordplay here...Shii-Cho is very simple, Watch how the move and maneuvers are perpendicular to one another as I mount a defense, and counter." she said with a more stern voice, combat seemed to bring out different traits in Shmi, especially when she was stepping into the teaching arena.

"Caleb, I want you to be on the offense. Show me how well you blend the two." she said, before slouching down slightly and igniting her emerald blade.

I winced as I saw Master Shmi give Kitani a training saber. Those things stink...a lot, when you get hit by one and I would rather get my arm cut off than get hit by one again. I left my thoughts just a Master Labooda told me to attack her. It was odd since I had never dueled her before and didn't know how good she was. I do know from the holovids and records that she was and formidable fighter with a lightsaber so I have to keep on guard.

"All right master though I must warn you..." I ignited my lightsaber and my blue blade shined in the dimly lit room."I've trained with the best". I held the lightsaber in a typical low and ready stance. I then kicked off my back foot and charged my master. I swung a quick slash toward her chest section and if she countered would follow up with a force push.

Kitani's eyed widen as she was presented with a training lightsaber. She mirrors her master bow and would reach out at the same time for the practice saber. She brings it down towards her side as she straightens herself up.

With a smile she replies
"Thank you master "

She would take a step back as her first ever demonstration of Shii-Cho took place. It was the founding principle of saber combat, something Kitani lacked and would now be blessed to be instructed under. She did notice a change in her master maybe even felt it within her on a small scale. This would be ignore as she listened in to her masters words and then the demonstration between Padawan and Master.

< I must master my basics if i want to prevail in this world > She thinks

Zhall anxiously stepped into the Jedi temple, hoping to find a master. He was still a padawan and it was apparent he would need a master if he was going to be a effective Jedi some days. He opened his mouth and said "Is there anyone here able to teach me the ways of the force?" Waiting for a response.

Korrin walked through the temple slowly as he absorbed all that was around him. He'd only seen one Jedi Temple before and it was much different than the one he was currently moving through. He looked about curiously as he slowly made his way deeper into the structure. He had finally made it. He was to be trained as a Jedi- or, at least that was the idea. He had not found himself a Master just yet and was living the life of a lonesome Jedi Hopeful, doing just what his title suggested: hoping. He hoped that in this expansive temple he'd find the one that he could call Master. He hoped that he could train under the tutelage of the one suited best for him. But most of all: He hoped he could become a force for good in the galaxy. Unfortunately though, hoping didn't seem to help speed up this process, so for now he traveled the temple alone in his old hooded robes from a time that hope forgot.

He passed a few unfinished rooms as he surveyed the temple and traveled its corridors. He noticed a few pairings of people in various rooms on his venture, however they all looked to be busy with one other. Most of -if not all of- them were likely Master and pupil training in these hallowed halls. As Korrin daydreamed of his eventual training he stumbled upon a large open expanse. This large circular hall was graced with thick, majestic pillars composed of the finest marble that seemed to stretch into eternity as they flowed naturally into the high arched ceiling. This was a grand temple indeed, and Korrin couldn't wait to learn more mysteries the force had yet to divulge to him.

With some excitement in his head and eagerness in his blood he sat down slowly in the center of the room, placing his hands on his lap as he took deep, calm breaths. He allowed his head to lower itself slowly, the brown cloth of his hood swaying as his breath escaped him. The cloth swayed once again as he let breath enter him once more. And again as he let the air rejoin the atmosphere once again. This process repeated, and repeated, and repeated as the trance of shallow meditation began to wash over him. Korrin let his mind sit at ease with the galaxy. Thinking of nothing. Feeling of nothing. Becoming nothing in the vastness of all space, time. . . and the force. His stillness betrayed his person, seemingly blending into the room as if he was just another piece in the grand architecture of the temple. Becoming one with his surroundings and (hopefully) the force itself as he tapped into the deepest part of his very essence. Training himself to become one with the force. Training himself to be at peace with the galaxy.

Training himself to let go of everything he feared to lose.

She stood up straight, posture steady, she pointed her emerald blade towards the ceiling, tightening her grip around the hilt while taking a deep breath. Her eyes slowly closed, blurring out the visual presence of her surroundings. Then when everything fell still she opened her eyes to see her apprentice lunging at her with his blade coming at a moderate speed towards her chest.

This wasn't an exercise where she was supposed to best her student in combat, she was demonstrating only the basics for Kitani and testing the prowess of Caleb. She needed to keep that mindset.

With her speed growing with the intention of retaliation, she flicked her wrist and tilted her blade into a horizontal position. Tightening her right hand around the handle her arm became stiff so that she could put up a defense. Their blades met and sparks flung all over. From the corner of her eye she saw his hand moving. Before she could detach her blade, his hand was already aiming to push her back with the aid of the Force, thinking purely on instinct she used her right elbow to strike at his free hand and she detached her blade.

His recovery would be just about the same as hers, it was all about who could take control of the battle now. "Good. Look at my form Caleb, examine the holes and manipulate them. Subtle pulls and shoves to gain the advantage...the little things. Watch your head!" she said shouting near the end of her statement, as she flowed from her horizontal maneuver into her next move. After knocking back his arm she performed a turn that allow her blade to fluid go into a vertical strike from above for Calebs head, or rather zone 1.

The budding temple was hectic. Excitement was in the air and why wouldn't it be? The Republic was in a state of confusion and the Jedi had a new, new home. At least the third, by his count, since the war with the One Sith started. Was anywhere safe for them? Was anything safe from the Sith? All of these questions ran through the Jedi Master's head as he walked through the halls, searching for one [member="Zhall Serth"]. He found him in the main hall.

"Zhall Serth?"
