So far so good. Granted -- she'd yet to meet a single soul. Also, as she was coming to find out with a bit of a hitched breath, this was quite the hike!

Her trek found what would pass as a main road of sorts, muddy and sodden with the afteraffects of questionable pools of fetid matter and rain. Welcome to the Middle Ages!

A huff of hot air would come pouring from her lips, pausing as she came to a fork in the road. Huh, well... let's try left!

 

[Miles Varden]

Miles was walked through the town, shown all that has been going on, the "doctor" of the town had captured one of the corpses and was testing it, as best as his level of tech could. The city guard was down to only a dozen men and a few boys in their teens. Miles was caulked at, he did not look like any they'd come across before. Clad in his Spectre armor and wielding a blaster and various other weapons, the likes of which were not yet attainable in their current technogical state.

Finally, with his helmet back, he was given the chance to contact [member="Chloe Blake"].

"Warden Blake, this is Miles Varden, I'm in a town located about two clicks from your current position. If you maintain your current path, you should be seeing a town. Watch out for the corpses, they are walking and aggressive. Yes I said corpses are walking. The townsfolk say they've been around for years. They have not figured it out but I'd say it's pretty obvious it's an old plague from the time of the Galactic Empire."

As mentioned earlier, because Chloe was in a new area, new planet, with different type of tech, and trying to blend in --- Chloe wasn't dialed in to receive messages. In fact, no one would be able to contact her in anyway as she made her path towards a small town. Curiousity would bloom over her face, and a welcoming smile would dance over her lips as more and more people would appear to go on about their day.

Her nose would crinkle, there was still an aroma of waste and disease lingering. The people certainly looked haggard, but there was an underlying strength. Recovery, she'd muse. They were in their period of recovery.

A commotion up ahead would spark her attention. What was that?

 

[Rune Ferndikke]

A lone Lambda class shuttlecraft landed one klick north of the town, A Chiss Imperial Officer and four Stormtroopers walked down the ramp and looked around "Go ahead and shut off the engines and lock the ramp" The Chiss called to the pilot, the ramp closed and sealed, the squad began walking to the town.
