Death by misadventure (Aken Bosch)

Satine had looked the contract over that she had gotten when Nolan allowed her to kill the Krayt Dragon. the name on there that ordered the assination, and the location of where this person was supposed to be. Well now she thought I've gone after Admirals before this one should be no different.

She needed to plan out her moves, and her weapons. This was a single mission, no need for a team. A single shot to the head should end this rather quickly. The problem, getting to a position where she could take the shot, or getting inside and getting up close and personal either way Satine would get to him.

She looked at his itinery again, ok. She pin pointed the spot where he would be over night, that was her in. That was her timeframe.

She traveled by transport it was less conspicuous and she could sleep along the way. She needed to go home after this, she had been moving quite a bit with no true break. She was tired she shook it off, knowing there was a job ahead.

Admiral [member="Aken Bosch"], to be the next target.

Bosch in question was residing currently in a Veratus-class shuttle, whose open landing ramp was guarded by a pair of stormtroopers. He was in his bedroom, disruptor pistol on the nearby table as he read through a book - a physical, paper-and-leather book. The book in question was detailing the Old Republic's usage of Kumauri Battleships in their naval fleet - an interesting ship type. Perhaps the Shadow Empire would be interested in such.

If he only knew what he was being hunted by.

Reports were filtering back to her on where the Admiral was, what he projected itinery would be. "Find me an angle to get close to him, what does he like?" She began to look into the dossier on him, every bit of information was of use. Each would provide a way for her to get closer, what were his crimes she wondered, and what was something called Shadow Empire.

She narrowed her eyes and looked closer.

Still, Bosch resided inside of his shuttle. His reading now comprised information regarding the usage of Star Destroyers during the Galactic Civil War, along with their many flaws. Amused, he made a comparison between the Tulak Hord-class Star Destroyer he called home and the archaic warship once used by the Galactic Empire, whose spaceframe was still mainly used by the Abrion Systems Authority as an interdictor.

And yet he still remained unaware of the fact that he was being hunted by a ruthless killer of a woman.

"They have him located Satine" The coordinates came in he was on a planet. excellent. Quickly she headed to the cockpit of the Shassa reving up the navcomp she input the coordinates and within moments they disappeared into the stars.

...............................A few days later......................

Satine wore the outfit of one of the local women carrying a basket of fruit for the Admira. It would be difficult to get close she had been able to pinpoint that he was on the shuttle and had not left it. So now how to get on board, offer food.

"Hello" She said as she approached the guards, "I'm Nala, I bring the Admiral a gift of food" She smiled. She did not have the blaster, but she had the zenji needles, and her vibro blade.

The guards paused, eying the lady with a modest degree of suspicion - though such seemed innocuous, there could always be a trap. "Who are you delivering it on behalf of?"

-

Meanwhile, Bosch had moved on to another book, one so utterly boring that he really didn't want to even try anymore. He was practically on the cusp of falling asleep from how tiring it was.

"Damned energy vampires and their sparkling..."

She had done her homework and she would now have to take a guess and pray she was right, "the shadow council" She smiled trying to be innocent.

Would it work. Were her assumptions right? She wasn't sure, but she was ready.

The stormtroopers paused for a moment, but shortly nodded, talking to someone from within their helmets, allowing her access to the ship.

-

Meanwhile, Bosch was still half-asleep from reading that book, but was facing the bed. One of the stormtroopers sent him a message... He didn't know of any Shadow Council, which seemed particularly suspicious, and as such, his disruptor pistol was slipped under the covers, in his hand as he awaited the arrival of the delivery woman.

This was gonna be fun.

"Hi there." He smiled, motioning with his free hand where she could put the package, the gun still in his own hand, hidden underneath the blanket. "Just put it over there."

He paused, wanting to prove that she was not who she seemed to be. "So... How's Archon Tyrdarian doing?"

She walked to where he was pointing, she stopped and then looked to the Admiral, "I would not know I am just the errand girl I get my orders from someone who got it from someone, who got it from someone else, and so on, and so forth. You are the Admiral yes?"

She figured by now he was figuring out who she was, but would he know what she was.

"Indeed." He paused. But you see, there's a problem with this delivery. A very big one." And with that, he pulled out his pistol, aiming it at the Mistryl Shadow Guard. "The Shadow Council is dead. It disappeared months ago, along with the New Order. Now tell me... who are you, who sent you, and why use such a poor disguise?"

he paused. "I read their notice of dissolution from the Sith Lord known as Darth Iscariot." He paused, calling for his stormtroopers to come to his room. "I ask again, who are you, where are you from, and who hired you to assassinate me?"

[member="Aken Bosch"]

"I am Satine, I was sent by a Hutt from Tattooine, and I am from a planet called Emberlene" She put the fruit down and then picked up a piece for herself, she was being a bit cavalier but when your intended target has a gun, and you brought a knife the gun generally won out.

"Does that help?" She leaned against the table now, watching him, but keeping her movements slow and open.

"Strip." He continued holding his disruptor aimed towards the Mistryl Shadow Guard. "Now. I want you to strip every single piece of clothing off in order to indicate that you have no weapons concealed anywhere underneath your clothing." He wasn't even smiling - he was dead serious regarding what he just said.

"I'm not taking my clothes off, you want someone to search me fine, but my clothes are staying on" What a request did he think he could degrade her like that not likely she had pride, and a knowledge of her self worth.

Requesting her to strip like some common street hooker was not in her play book.

He rolled his eyes, the two stormtroopers entering the room and searching her for any weapons she had on her person. They removed any that were on her, including any needles in her hair, before exiting the room. He still kept the gun trained on her, assuming that were she an assassin, her hand-to-hand skills would be good enough for her to still pose a threat while unarmed.

"Emberlene... So you're a Mistryl, then?"

She looked at him smiled, and them hopped up on the table, crossing her legs, and then reaching into the basket for a piece of fruit, "I am, strange I don't remember seeing your name before this"

She took a bite of the fruit and chewed carefully, licking her lips, "how do you know about mistryls?"

"Mistryl, I'm sixty years old. I've spent over forty years of continual service to the Empire and its various successor states. I've dealt with enough assassin and bounty hunter groups to know of most if not all currently active in the galaxy. I know who the Mistryl Shadow Guards are and what they do. One does not simply walk into Admiralty. Not without being prepared for hired blades paid by competitive officers to eliminate you so they may be next in line for a promotion."

His smiled, but still did not let the gun down. "I'm sorry, but I know that Mistryl can still be deadly without their weapons. Many necks have been snapped by their legs."
