"I suppose that's the best way to put it. A step ahead of both of us on the scale of human evolution." He stepped forward, looking down at her with a smile. "And you Mistryl are always looking for something that's a step ahead of everything else, aren't you?"

The thoughts running through his head were becoming unbearable to contain.

"I am, I don't know what the others are looking for" Mya looked up at him, "you want a child, I want position and power. Can you give me that, and on what scale" She smiled now, arching a brow. What were his thoughts?

Oh he might be an equal match for her depending on his ideas and how they would further her goals.

He smiled, slowly moving his arms around her waist with an ever-growing embrace. "You will be the lover of an admiral with a loyal crew of highly experienced personnel. Not to mention that being the mother of his child, you will rather easily be able to convince him with regards to doing whatever it is you want him to do." His leaned down a big, giving her a half-second kiss before pulling back.

An evil little grin caressed her pale pink lips and she looked up at him, accepting the attempted kiss. "Lover of an Admiral with a crew that does his bidding without question?" She narrowed her eyes slightly, "Mother of a child of intellect and skill" she placed her hands on his chest.

He was older, but it would seem he was understanding part of her ambition but did he fully understand it, "you will indulge my ambitions Aken" she said in a low sultry voice enticing him to try the kiss again as she tilted her head back slightly.

"Indeed I shall." He smiled, moving in and giving her another kiss, this one a bit longer. "You will have beautiful jewelry, luxurious attire, and will generally be treated like a queen. That I guarantee." And with that, with her in his arms, he slowly stepped towards the bed, taking a seat there in order to prepare for the inevitable.

She moved over to where he sat on the bed, she raked her hand through the back of his hair pulling his head back slightly and smiled. "I will give you a child and you will make me a Queen" She leaned down and kissed him softly enticingly pulling back to him she would in time reveal it to him her plan her ambition.

She thought to herself if I cannot lead a clan, I will lead an Admiral and his crew. She could then use this new found power to destroy Clan D'ulin, and Satine. She could get him to crush them, and make her Queen of Emberlene.

She reached down and pulled the hem of her dress over her head, looking upon him with the lust of ambition and all that he could give her in exchange for use of her body.

He smiled, relaxing for the first time in a long time as he helped bring the Mistryl on top of him, kissing her pert lips and her neck. The door to their room would shut, and remain locked for some time - long enough that he and Mya would be able to finish their first encounter with one another in peace.



A smile crossed his face as he rolled over, giving a soft kiss to the woman next to him. "You know we're going to have to do this on a consistent basis before it's verified we have a son or daughter, right?"

Mya reacted in all the ways a woman would and for however long the door remained shut she made sure to be very loud so that any guards, or men passing by would know that the Admiral was performing admirally.

She lay there her right arm behind her head watching him now, "Yes we will have to do so until it is confirmed I am pregnant, but you did not specify whether the child needed to be a boy or a girl. Are you know saying there is another condition?" She was relaxed now the conditions nearly all met. She would be sure to make sure that his men always knew that she was his, unless of course he failed to follow through and then she might have a roving eye which would be greatly embarrassing and of course the death of the man she decided to get comfy with.

She snuggled into the blankets, and before he could answer, "I will need the sheets off this bed" The sheets would show that she had indeed slept with him and that the infamous Satine would have her ancient form of proof. He had been her first.

"Of course not... The gender of the child matters very little. But we can always have many of them. Plenty of heirs for you and I." He paused, giving her another vigorous kiss. "Of course... I see no issue with you taking them and indicating that we have indeed coupled together. We will likely have to do so tonight as well - once a day until you are confirmed. And even then, I suppose more of this will help you feel a bit better."

She laughed some,"I only feel inexperienced and a bit tender. Otherwise I have no problems. You are planning on this being a long term relationship is that right?" Hmm. She had not considered that, she would have to evaluate.

"I do not think I want many" she was still quite young. She would be hiring a nanny for the child. The best teachers. Schools.

"Again this evening you say. Perhaps I should just lay here but in truth I brought next to nothing with me unsure of how this would go, I will need to. Retrieve my things"

May rose up, "Aken a refresher would be good is it through there?"

"You were wonderful, Mya... I am just as inexperienced as you, and I've heard of enough sex going on to last me three lifetimes." He gave her another kiss. "Of course, I would like to keep our relationship going for a long period of time. You are gorgeous and intelligent after all - the perfect partner. The refresher is through that door."

Mya disappeared into the refresher. He was very affectionate. When y?

She didn't understand. And he wanted long term. So. Didn't he just want a body? Confusing.

She walked out drying off looking for her dresses. He was also complimentary eh it would wear off. It was inevitable.

"Ok. I will need to go out and then I'll be back for our next interlude. " she slipped the dress over her head. She looked over at him, he would be busy right?

He nodded, turning away. He had a book to get to work on, and not much time to get to work on it with.

This was something he was looking forward to.

6 weeks later


Mya walked into Akens office. "So. " she smiled walking around his desk pushing his chair back taking away his data pad and curdling up in his lap. "I have news for you"

She stroked his cheek. "Want to hear it?"

He smiled, looking up and giving his partner a soft kiss. They had coupled every night since that first one, and Bosch was feeling more and more youthful with each passing day. He ran a hand down the side of her body, giving her another kiss as she finished.

"You know I love secrets. Tell me."

"The doctor says I'm pregnant" she smiled at him. "I hope you are pleased." S h e kissed his cheek.

" so. In time the child will be here. "

She wanted to tell him something else today. But. She wasn't sure

At the word that his son or daughter was already on their way to being born, he smiled, giving Mya yet another long and passionate kiss. His hand ran down the front of her body, pausing at her abdomen. "That's wonderful, darling... Absolutely wonderful. I look forward to seeing our son or daughter grow up." He motioned to the bed.

"Should we celebrate?"

"Lets celebrate" she would tell him later. She took his hand slid off and pulled him with her. They had become quite practice at this.

She stopped turning to him kissed him with all the passion she had.

But before they initiated what traditionally occurred, Bosch paused for a moment. "You seem a bit uneasy... and I know it isn't pregnancy hormones talking. You haven't been this way for them to have taken hold so soon. What's bothering you?"

He ran a hand through her hair, smiling as he gave her neck a soft kiss.

He nodded so he was learning her moods.

"Aken when you made this arrangement with Satine, it was to procure a child. Yes?" She looked at him trying not to be harsh. Even though they had talked they had not really talked about this."not really for me, is that right?"

She clenched her teeth. Treated like property. Ignored by family except out of need. So.

Why would he be different. Satine. She always got her way.
