Deep Black Sea: Bigger than a Mini-Event, But Not That Big

So, as culmination of the Extragalactic Exploration Challenge/ExGal Hunt and the last few Weekend Treasure Hunts, Deep Black Sea is a new-format event focused on one ragtag expedition into Wild Space and the Unknown Regions. We've been running signups for crew slots on the independent exploration starship Absolution; crew, passengers, and cameo visitors will come and go as plot progresses.

Unlike the ExGal Hunt, which was totally self-directed by members, these threads will have some semblance of intended plot and purpose. In true voyage tradition, the crew of the Absolution will face dangerous, confusing situations and impossible choices. What they find in the Deep Black Sea will define them, if it doesn't destroy them.

Berths and ranks were allotted based on experience in the ExGal Hunt and other achievements. Those who've participated before have invaluable knowledge of some of the worlds we may visit, but no, it's not too late to sign on with the voyage of the Absolution.
