Roman took a breath, feeling a flutter of excitement mixed with the tension of uncertainty that Valery's words brought forth. He admired her confidence; it was like a beacon guiding him amidst the swirling doubts in his mind. "You really think I can handle it?" he asked, looking into her bright eyes, the playful challenge sparking something in him he couldn't quite identify.

"New Cov sounds daunting, but you make it sound like it's just another stroll through the garden. Maybe with a few more surprises, sure." he added, a shy smile gracing his lips. There was something about the way Valery described her journey, how she fought through the unfamiliarity and emerged stronger, that ignited a flicker of hope in him. Perhaps he could find a piece of that strength within himself.

"Training assignment, huh?" Roman chuckled nervously, rubbing the back of his neck. "I hope you mean more than just showing me how to dodge monsters and navigate the wilderness." He met her gaze with a newfound determination, excitement battling with trepidation. "You're right about the Force being a guide. It's strange, though, I often feel its pull but don't always understand it."

He leaned a little closer, matching her energy. "I know I have a lot to learn. But if you truly believe I can navigate whatever challenges we might face… then okay, I'm ready." he countered playfully, a spark igniting in his chest as he considered the thrill of their journey ahead.

"Let's leave soon then." he echoed, a grin breaking through the earlier uncertainties. "And you can show me all those 'things' you mentioned. I've always wanted a hands-on approach to training. Who knows? I might even surprise you."

With newfound resolve, he added, "I won't just be keeping up, I'll be right there beside you, ready for whatever adventure awaits." The weight of his nervousness had lessened, transformed by the potential of what lay ahead.
