Digging in Paradise

[Jairdain]

Jairdain was always a bastion of calm and patience so she waited while Karl pulled up the information he was looking for.

"Well, what's it say? Is it someplace we can get to now?"

If she really wanted to, Jairdain could have used her little device to get the question answered, but wanted to include Karl into this.

"It would be neat to go and visit the site if that's possible. Get a feel for the history of the battle."

It would surely have left its mark there in the Force and maybe still some residue was left over. New knowledge would be neat and the possibility of actually finding some sort of artifact was intriguing to her.

Letting out a sigh, Jairdain realized she wasn't sounding patient at all and fell silent again.

He glanced at the information for a while tapping his chin.

"It's a system in the Mid Rim."

Continuing to tap his chin he looked around the system for a while trying to figure out where exactly it was.

"I don't think any major power has control of it that I'm aware of..."

He glanced up at her and held her hand for a second trying to let her relax a little bit, telling that she was getting a little antsy with the whole situation he wanted her to relax and let them figure it out.

Smiling at her he continued to work on it for a minute or two.

Jairdain had very little concept of what he meant by Mid Rim and gave him a curious look.

"What is the Mid Rim? Since it's not controlled by a major power, we should be able to go there safely right?"

He reached out and held her hand as he thought about the situation.

Her emotions were calm and not at all stressed or concerned about this. She was way more curious and feeling the need to get out and stretch her legs again. To go out on another adventure, explore and gain more knowledge.

"If the sith did this thought bomb and they killed themselves doing it...why are there still sith today?"

Sensing her confusion he widened the map to the known galaxy and looked at her.

"You see the galaxy here? It's split into different sections, and because the Galaxy is made in a circle it's split into rims, like the Outer Rim Colation is in the Outer Rim."

He smiled softly as he showed her with one hand and held her hand with his other.

Sending her some of his emotions just glancing at her and giving her a soft smile as he felt her emotions and her curiosity about this whole situation rise more and more as he could tell that this was going to get interesting.

"Not all of them died, just a group of them that did it."

"Unfortunately I can't see holograms like that or even read. Navigating for me is all done by computer, I just type or say where I want to go and the rest is taken care of. Part of my handicap and why I never go anywhere without my reader. This thing is a lifesaver."

Taking the reader out, Jairdain held it out for Karl to look at if he wanted to. They held hands and he shared some of his feelings with her. The only time, Jairdain kept her emotions hidden was in situations where they might get out of control, so she held no concern over showing interest in this.

"I wonder what we would be like if they had all died."

She grew thoughtful when she considered this.
