Travelling through the ruined corridor and dragging the tip of my blade across the chests of those that survived the initial blast, I stalked toward the lower region of the building: the basement. From previous knowledge of building construction, I knew certain beams were installed to add strength to a building, mainly acting as a fortifying function. These beams go down, it would only be a matter of minutes before the building collapsed in areas; killing any that were still inside.

Outside a few guards and building workers, little resistance presented itself. When I reached the last leg of my tour, the situation had changed. From the several attacks on several fronts, the guards had rallied and began throwing up a staunch defense. Unaware of where my fellow comrades were, I now faced a group of four soldiers, more than prepared to stem the flood of my killing; and prevent me from completing my objective.

Smoke had begun to cloud the sky around the Senate structure by the time Veiere Arenais had found his way into the upper district against the hustle of the people all watching from a distance in wonder of what was going on. In response to his moving toward the commotion, they all seemed to look to him with questions and pleas for answers, those of which he simply could not offer. Instructing them all to move further away from the conflict zone, Veiere had little else to turn to but his commlink in order to reach out to the rest of their government and local authorities delegating the masses, no doubt already scrambling to try to maintain order against the act of suspected terrorism, the weight of the Darkside of the Force hanging over the city like a dismal cloud showering the Jedi in both apprehension and suspicion; the kind of bad vibe and warning of the Force that he recognized to come hand in hand with those of Dark Jedi or otherwise the Sith themselves. It certainly wasn't his first time.

"This is Veiere Arenais calling to all possible C-Sec officers", an abbreviation for Commenor Security, naturally. "Those who aren't already en-route, we have civilians down here with minimal protection. I need this area cordoned off immediately. Set up a perimeter and block all entries to the Senate, law enforcement only...-Bring in the Regulars for assistance asap".

Time was ever running short and as much as he wanted to stay and organize the people, they were yet to get close enough to the heart of the issue. The law would soon be upon them, and Veiere's gut feeling told him that at the center of the attack, somewhere in there his Wife was among one of the primary incentives for the assault. The possibilities threatening to cloud his mind, he pushed off once more into a run towards the sounds of screams and fighting going on further ahead. Soon enough he'd be nearing the front gate and main entrance to the facility, that of which he was growing ever concerned about the darkness threatening to weigh in over his head. Silently, he whispered within the teachings of his former Mentor from long ago back on Svivren, reminding himself of the light and will of the Force, that he not be hindered by the presence these aggressors had brought down upon a world formerly without enemies.

Despite himself, Ghorua smirked at [member="Kiran Arlos"] when he told [member="Lady Kay"] to evacuate, shifting his weight to better hide himself from the sight of [member="Vengeance"]. He tapped the Defender Bracelets on his wrists, feeling a slight comfort as the magical effects took hold. The devices would protect him from physical injury, be it Force or otherwise. He sent a bemused expression the young guard's way, chuckling internally.

"Kid, you haven't known Kay very long, have you?"

Ghorua turned back to the Lady, looking between her and Kiran, worry crossing his features. "I'm gonna go buy time. Back me up?"

The Herglic stood, about to go square off with the mysterious being, when he heard a snikk. Then he felt it.

Vengeance had hit him instead of his intended target.

Ghorua padded around his chest, looking for a weapon of some kind, his hands only pawing around a sudden hole in his suitcoat. His bracelets had lessened the spear's effects greatly, the weapon not getting past his thick skin and blubber.

It still hurt like hell, though.

Ghorua pulled his slughthrowers, wincing. He spoke to himself under his breath, a mantra he often told his daughter. "Make brave and heroic decisions, eh?"

Ghorua stepped out from behind the door way, coming within view of what he had decided was a Force-User. No hesitation marred his steps, each pounding footstep sure of itself and it's purpose. The ten-foot-tall being fired off his weapons, the massive slugs screaming through the air with a Vengeance.

Location: Senate Hall , Commenor.
Objective: Get people to safety, get to her office.

"Ma'am, you'll have to come with us."

Kay watched as surprisingly, her shot hit her mark, though not well enough to do anything outside of anger the intruder. She ignored the team of guards and watched while Vengeance just broke out in a fit of laughter. The weight of the Darkside became more obvious now, either by him or by others, she couldn't really tell. Her focus had been on keeping her Force Signature hidden, so it prevented her from being able to sense things better. "I can't just leave everyone here. I can't just abandon everyone!"

"But Ma'am it's n--"

The officer was cut off as Kiran approached and pleaded with her to leave. Kay frown a little but nodded slightly. She'll leave when she could. But now wasn't the time. Ghorua had some tricks up his sleeves and he asked her to back him up. So she had every intention of doing so.

The Herglic was struck, but thankfully it didn't get him down. Vengeance was on the move, walking towards them. He was a Sith Lord that she hadn't seen before. Questions filled her mind as to who he was and why they were doing this. It wasn't as though she had done anything against them or anyone for that matter. Kay fired two more shots towards him, but she wasn't aiming to hit him. Instead she was hitting the big vases on his left, shattering them in a bid to distract him for Ghorua to have an opening. But all the while, in the back of her mind, she was wanting to head to her office. Her lightsaber was in there, as well as some other items of a sensative nature. It just happened to not be anywhere close.

Meanwhile down below, where Sarcophago was, five security guards were busy leading the people down to the escape tunnels. That was when they came across the bloodbath that the woman was creating. All five of them formed a line and began opening fire with their blasters, protecting the people behind them as they all ran screaming to find another exit tunnel.

While in truth this would be Kiran's second brush with what seemed to be fragment of the darkside of the force. As Kiran was feeling the same thing he felt on Sharb. No matter, he was better prepared or so he felt this go around then he was the first time. Given his past, it could prove to be quite the distraction. However Kiran felt he was ready for the challenge.

"I suppose not." Kiran responded easily enough as he glanced back towards the individual whom had thrown such a weapon.

"Kiran, what in the devil is going on?!" A voice called out from the comlink at his ear. "Oh you know, the usual. Did you guys stop for lunch during that perimeter check. The building is under attack, get back here now."

Kiran cleared his throat a bit as his finger moved towards the trigger of his weapon as another individual had entered the room, and his demeanor and language had said much about the man. "That's cute..." Kiran whispered sarcastically as he popped off a few shots towards Riktar.

Location: Commenor Senate Building

Objective: Take things seriously
Allies: [member="Vengeance"] [member="Riktar Tei'ram"] [member="Darth Sarcophago"]
Enemies: [member="Lady Kay"] [member="Veiere Arenais"] [member="Ghorua the Shark"] [member="Kiran Arlos"]
Equipment: Regalia, Obbligato (Sith Sword), Saberstaff, 3 detonation packs, 2 incendiary devices

So loud, so violent. Truthfully she couldn't ask for a better team. Almost everyone was distracted somewhere, they didn't even seem to notice as she moved into the entry hall with the majority of individuals. The human shooting at their hired mercenary, the Queen herself standing behind the wall of flesh Herglic... and she could sense in the distance beyond them was their dear leader Vengeance, sewing chaos and creating a distraction suitable enough to hide her. She smiled beneath her force cloak, no one was any the wiser. She turned to go, back through the way that had brought her there, before being caught off guard by some guard coming to back them up. He bumped right into her, making a loud and audible sound of surprise moments before being cut down.

Cut down by her blade, of course. Drawn in a moment, Obbligatto sung, screamed through the air really, as it cut through the man's throat. The sword was meant to thrust, but its edge was still enchanted plenty enough to cut an exposed throat. The body dropped, still alive and clutching at his wound to hold it together, as she quickly began to run down the hall, her weapon whistling through the air as she went. There was her sense of stealth, she had to remind herself not to be so careless next time. Her best hope was that no one had seen what happened, and thought that something else got him. Of course, he was likely pointing back down the hall in some attempt to warn the others...

Still, she kept her cloak up as she went, ducking into one of the building's rooms to try and find cover. She glanced around and noticed it seemed to be a lecture hall of some sort. Curious, she began to walk up one of the aisles, slowly moving to the front of the room. She found a map at the front of the room, and picked it up to inspect it. Ah.. she wasn't far from the entryway at all... she slowly began to memorize the map, picking out the rooms she would hit. Of course, she intended to set one of her incindiary devices in the main council chamber, or a det pack if she found a sufficient beam to attach them to. Either way, she wanted that room in flames.

Curious though, she marked in her mind one of the rooms. Whoever had left the map here clearly forgot who's room was where, and marked from which planet each senator's chamber was. Yutan, wasn't there a jedi temple there? She chuckled, if the opportunity came she would have to pay that office a special visit of her own. Ah well, she did find different locations that should provide good places to setup the explosives. Unless one of the others found their places, however, she wasn't going to be doing much more than taking out maybe a few sections, a wing if she was lucky. With a new idea on where to go, she moved cautiously back to the lecture hall door, listening quietly through it to see if anyone was there... Certainly someone could've easily followed her this far. Between knowing she was somewhere down here and her strong signature...
