Prophets of Navis Sacra
Willow and Ivy didn't like looking into their own futures. In fact, they did their best to avoid doing so. Looking into the past, present and future of others was far less stressful, and it was a lot less frightening.
Twice they had looked upon what life had in store for them and in both instances they bore witness to the same thing; the siamese twins became physically separated and the result had caused Willow to die. The two didn't share in any vital organs, for their physical attachments were merely at their hips and just below the shoulder blades. In essence it was mostly just skin, veins, muscle and nerve endings that physically connected the two.
However their connection telepathically and their bond through the Force was much stronger than any physical connection. Never were the two out of eachother's minds. Never were the two alone. Even in their dreams while they slept, the two were together. The very concept of being alone was both foreign and frightening to them.
Some might think that in seeing their future, that they could somehow work to prevent it from coming to pass. Yet Willow and Ivy didn't see it that way. In their minds; seeing it was believing it, and it would somehow help to make it come true.
Neither of them wanted that.
And yet the Force had it's own way in doing things. So while the twins slept, their future vision invaded what was a pleasant dreamscape and turned it into a nightmare. However a new figure was introduced, one that had put a stop to the butcher scientist's knife, and that was Heath Valhoun . But the man was no hero. The vibe that he gave off was just as dark as the scientist's. The words that he spoke was lost on the twins during their dreamscape, but the feelings of their intent was there. And it wasn't for anything good.
Willow woke up first, followed shortly thereafter by Ivy, both of them quite shaken up. "We're going to have to find him, Ivy."
"I know...After breakfast."
They would have to discuss it with Vyn Daldoure first, however. He was their bodyguard, afterall. And he knew of ways to find people.
