Private Disturbing Visions

Willow and Ivy didn't like looking into their own futures. In fact, they did their best to avoid doing so. Looking into the past, present and future of others was far less stressful, and it was a lot less frightening.

Twice they had looked upon what life had in store for them and in both instances they bore witness to the same thing; the siamese twins became physically separated and the result had caused Willow to die. The two didn't share in any vital organs, for their physical attachments were merely at their hips and just below the shoulder blades. In essence it was mostly just skin, veins, muscle and nerve endings that physically connected the two.

However their connection telepathically and their bond through the Force was much stronger than any physical connection. Never were the two out of eachother's minds. Never were the two alone. Even in their dreams while they slept, the two were together. The very concept of being alone was both foreign and frightening to them.

Some might think that in seeing their future, that they could somehow work to prevent it from coming to pass. Yet Willow and Ivy didn't see it that way. In their minds; seeing it was believing it, and it would somehow help to make it come true.

Neither of them wanted that.

And yet the Force had it's own way in doing things. So while the twins slept, their future vision invaded what was a pleasant dreamscape and turned it into a nightmare. However a new figure was introduced, one that had put a stop to the butcher scientist's knife, and that was Heath Valhoun Heath Valhoun . But the man was no hero. The vibe that he gave off was just as dark as the scientist's. The words that he spoke was lost on the twins during their dreamscape, but the feelings of their intent was there. And it wasn't for anything good.

Willow woke up first, followed shortly thereafter by Ivy, both of them quite shaken up. "We're going to have to find him, Ivy."

"I know...After breakfast."

They would have to discuss it with Vyn Daldoure Vyn Daldoure first, however. He was their bodyguard, afterall. And he knew of ways to find people.

Vyn's eyes shot open as he muffled a yelp into a grunt then rolled out of his bed onto the floor his eyes almost tearing up from the pounding body ache, the war wounds were acting up and Vyn hadn't had one that bad in a while. After it past he rolled over and laid on his back taking deep breaths, it was then he noticed the rising sun flooding what little light there was into his room, Vyn pulled himself up and stumbled to the cabinet grabbing a glass of water and he chugged it down, words were never enough to describe how the phantom pains felt.

the girls were probably up by now, sitting back on the bed he slipped into a shirt and strapped his gun belt on, holstering his blaster that just prior was under his pillow, Vyn opened the door to fresh guards and the cool morning nip in the air that had settled in the hallway. Proceeding down the hall to Willow & Ivy Willow & Ivy 's quarters, they were never far from each other a mere ears shot even.

He reached the door looking at the guard standing watch Vyn was rubbing his eye with a smile on his face as he approached and with a whisper

"Did they happen to let you know if they're up yet?"

The guard gave a unknowing shrug, after all the shift did just change. The Iridonian nodded, and he was prepared Vyn always had a cup of Caff in his hand and was ready to wait for them if need be, he gave a slight knock on the door hoping not to disturb them had they not awoken

"Hey, I'm up if you two need me"

Vyn was never too worried while they were at the palace but he like to stay around till someone acknowledged they had awoke.

Willow and Ivy lay in their bed for a moment, holding eachother as they each calmed down their hearts. Bad dreams had a way of getting the heart pumping and they both just wanted to get on with their day properly.

They sat up in unison and slid out of the bed, draping a shawl around their shoulders and over their nightgowns. It was in that moment that they heard Vyn Daldoure Vyn Daldoure knock at the door. "Yes, please come in. We're awake." The two walked over to the holoterminal in their suite and ordered their breakfast from the Palace kitchens. They felt as though they were almost royalty in their own right with getting to order their food in such a way. One couldn't really predict just what they'd be hungry for, so it was always better to have the twins order for themselves.

Afterwards they moved to their windows and took turns pulling on the cords to open the drapes and let the daylight in as soon as they heard their door open. "Did you sleep okay, Vyn?"

Just as the Iridonian was preparing to mentally slink back against the wall and relive the guard he heard them reply, a sip of the caff to raise his spirits and his body Vyn hit the panel on the door as it slid open to Willow & Ivy Willow & Ivy moving the drapes and flooding him with more Vitamin C than either of his hearts needed at that time of day. He was always a heavy sleeper even when Sith were chasing him trough an endless jungle deep in his mind or when his old bunk mates were blasting cantina music to rouse him. He also hated mornings and if anyone was going to catch him slacking, that was the time.

"Morning you two"

And Willow ended up asking the one question he didn't want to hear. With a scoff he grinned, he could never tell if the force was at work or pure irony had its hand in the pot. Vyn would always brush off the aches and pains as nothing, he was tired of that, being straight forward as he was, going around the truth was no fun.

"Thanks for asking, but no not really I uhh had a bad dream and an old wound flared up, probably just slept on it wrong its no big deal. How about you two, quiet night?"

Vyn strolled around the room checking what corners and hiding spots there were before moving back to the door. The real likelihood that anyone got in was extremely low, but low isn't zero.

Willow and Ivy left Vyn Daldoure Vyn Daldoure to his usual routine while they pressed on with theirs. The trio were long used to eachother's company by now, and neither were bothered with their routines getting in the way of their conversations. He was an excellent hire, and he worked very well with the pair. He didn't order them around, nor did he restrict them from anything just for the sake in doing so. He was perfect.

To hear that he had a bad night came as a surprise. Willow and Ivy looked at eachother as they sat down on the bench at their table as they waited for their breakfast to arrive. "We had a bad dream too..."

"It was that one that we really don't like, where we are separated..."

"But someone stopped it. Someone new."

"We need to find him, Vyn. He's not a Jedi or some hero, but he's important and he keeps us together."

A knock at the door signalled that their breakfast had arrived.

"Will you help us search for him?"

It wasn't as though they were planning on searching the Galaxy for the needle in a haystack. No, the man in question, Heath Valhoun Heath Valhoun felt important. Surely the holonet would be able to help.

Vyn was shocked to hear about their dream, though he doubted It's relation to his... issues.

"I'm sorry, I know they're no fun"

He knew of their fears, Vyn also knew what it was like to dream of the same fear on repeat like a broken record. Then they asked a question he truly wasn't expecting, to track down some random person. He'd do it, but at what cost, Ivy mentioned the type of person he wasn't. Jedi are moralistic and they let that interfere, hero's are self-righteous and full of themselves, neither would be able to help these two, but perhaps that's why the Hutt and even himself made such good companionship with the twins, Vyn was no Saint and on many occasion did what he needed to get his objective done, but even the girls never referred to him in a negative manner

after the knock he opened the door and received their food, taking it to the table by the twins. After Vyn set it down, he also sat across from Willow & Ivy Willow & Ivy on the floor thinking of how to reply... it was a hard decision to make, would this result in them leaving Broka, no he doubted that but who knows what course of action a new player on the field represents, a risk that may be necessary it seemed

"I'll do it. I'll track down this person whoever they are, I just need a name or a description of who you saw and a bit of time"

He hadn't put his feelers out in a long time, and usually it wasn't looking for someone he needed to help, usually it was someone Vyn just needed dead. Same process though, just a less violent end.

Willow and Ivy saw the concern for them that Vyn Daldoure Vyn Daldoure had. They knew that they could trust him to not turn against them or fire upon them. Broka didn't always trust them, but their bodyguard sure did.

And they trusted him. With everything. He was their confidant and should their nightmare come to pass, Willow was certain that Vyn would look after Ivy for her. But neither of the twins wanted to plan ahead for something like that happening. Not if they still had time to prevent it, at least.

The twins began to eat their breakfast, smiling a little as Vyn had agreed to help them in their search. Of course their dream didn't mention a name. But as Willow chewed on a mouthful of food, Ivy described Heath Valhoun Heath Valhoun in detail, even down to his uniform. She was often the one to describe Willow's visions to others, so it was habit for her to do so now. After she was finished, it was Willow's turn to speak.

"Let us know what you find. Broka will probably not permit travel, but at least, if there's some way to reach him through the holonet, we can probably do that."

"Or maybe even get him to come here. That could be the safer option." At least with Broka's forces, they'd have a better chance of not being taken.

A name would have been a godsend, but he was more familiar with description than going off of a name, he took down every detail and the facial features made it even easier, usually he never had that quality. Kain knew the build, hair color, and even the posture he kept by the by the time Ivy gave him all the info, but it was already leaving a pit in his stomach as his eyes drifted but for a second towards Willow. Every version of their scenario ended with her as the victim, Vyn didn't know if they had checked to see if it ever ended with him, but dwelling on what was yet to be never left a good taste in his mouth.

"Got it military, most likely someone influential with power to spare, The uniform doesn't sound like it belongs to one of the Major players in our circle but I'll cross my T's"

He doubted Broka would even let him leave, the initial contact would need to be over holonet. From the description he'd have figure out who this person is with little information, but that always the best part of Vyn's old job. but it would be easy especially due to the uniform, Military's always kept their personnel easy to find, and when it comes to Willow & Ivy Willow & Ivy whoever was involved usually held a position of status, he'd start there. Standing up he bowed and made his way backwards to the door while nodding

"Well then ladies, If you'll excuse me I have a savior to locate"

Vyn proceeded out the door and back to his room where he'd begin the quickest scavenger hunt ever, or the most drawn out game of pin the tail on the Bantha he'd ever participate in. Either way Heath Valhoun Heath Valhoun would be on his radar within the coming hours.

"No, he's not from here. He's not in this system."

"He's further away. It makes it difficult to see that far."

Their gifts had it's limitations. It was much like how light in a dark tunnel worked. The further away from it that you got, the weaker it was. But maybe if they were closer to Heath Valhoun Heath Valhoun they could get a better sense of what could be. And more importantly; of what part he had to play in their nightmare.

"Good luck, Vyn."

"And thank you!"

Willow and Ivy continued to eat their breakfast as Vyn Daldoure Vyn Daldoure left to start his search. And neither of them needed to voice their thoughts. He was their saviour. Not the military man that they had sent him off to find. Vyn was their bodyguard and protector. Heath may be able to keep the twins from being separated, yet in the end Vyn would be the hero.

They chose him for that very reason.

Vyn was very important to them.
