[OS Tournament]Javik Quar-Kai vs Krayzen Dratos Furthering Idea For Force Nexus
Manufacturer: Drakos Systems
Model: DKS 401 Armor
Affiliation: Privat Market
Modularity: Slightly
Production: Semi-Unique
Material: Alchemized durasteel, Phrik, Faraday Mesh
Classification: Anti-Force User Armor
Weight: 14 kg
Quality:

  • Lightsaber: 10
  • Blaster: 9
  • Slugs: 8
Special Features:
  • Lightsaber Resistance: It has phrik.
  • Semi-power Armor: Muscle suit takes all the weight on the user
  • EMP/Ion Resistance: Combat deinoizers protects the armor from ion/emp attacks
  • Resistance to Electrical Attacks: Faraday Mesh protects against force lightning , and electrical attacks.
  • Dark Side Nexus: The usage of Alchemy created a dark side nexus for the armor. The dark side nexus also allows the wearer of the armor the ability of being able to drain the life force of an enemy, although it is not in a quick succession. As one would also expect, the user can draw on the dark side nexus to fuel their attack, enhance their connection to the force, etc. This however does not mean that they are a walking powerhouse; it does however help them in battle.

Description: Examining a variety of armors in order to Drakos Systems come out with a baseline, as well as using his armor as a solid foundation for DKS 401 Armor, Krayzen made sure it would do well to be able to help his fellow darksiders, and other force users hunt Jedi.

The Sith Alchemy was used to augment the durability of the armor, as well as being able to create a dark side nexus for force users, or neutral force users. It also features a drain effect that can be able to help the user get some force reserves.

The crushgaunts feature turadium, featuring slightly less durabilty relative to it's resistance against lightsabers. Even then, the armor can be able to grip, and tightly hold something, increasing an opponents grip of an object.

This armor is not non force users, and can resist the dark side influencing their brain(Ephicanthix are the only people I think who can use this).

Krayzen also heard the armor feature crashguants, and STF gel, allowing the armor to be protected against kinetic attacks, such as those from projectiles. The muscle suit also takes all the weight of the armor, and also, like some parts of the armor, feature combat deionizers. It also augments the wearer 's strength, and speed. The helmet also controls all the functions of the armor, and it can be activated via a voice command/blinking system.

Ultimately, it is a good armor, and it is a must have for those that wish to be successful killing force users.

Development Thread: A Wise Group of People [25 posts] Learning A New Art[19 posts] A Reiteration of A Certain Event[40 posts]
Which thread is for which restricted material? Which thread is used for the creation of the dark side nexus? Which thread is for the acquisition of force "immunity"? Which thread is for the power armor?

Lightsaber Resistance: It has phrik, and cortoisis, some of the galaxy's best lightsaber resistance materials.

Cortosis should be included in the materials, otherwise every single instance of cortosis being mentioned in the submission needs to be removed, especially if there is no development for it (which I'm unaware of as I'm not sure what the threads you have provided are being used for).

Gauntlets Crushgaunts(optional)
You can leave the option for crushgaunts to be worn with the armor, but if it is being included in the submission as a part of the armor, whether it is optional for the person using it to wear them or not, it will need development behind it, assuming it is made of restricted materials.

Edited it to reflect what is happening in each thread.

Removed(I think) all references of cortoisis.

Would a dev thread of myself acquiring a crushgaunt be sufficient enough? Can they also be made with other metals, like Turadium, and will that require a dev thread for Turadium?

If it isn't made with a restricted material and there is a noted portion of the description that states it is not comparable to beskar crushgaunts, has less durability, isn't lightsaber resistant, etc, then you will not need a development thread for it.

Done. Also added in an image source.

Reduced production level to semi-unique. Would a 20 + post of gathering for phrik be enough to bump it up to limited production?

Starwars Chaos:
  • Force Immunity/Resistances in armor:
Darth Isolda's Armor (238 Posts for terentatek leather, used for force resistance/dampening)
  • Terentatek Duster "Cater Coat" (22 posts for terentatek leather, used for force resistance/dampening) **Note: Production during this era of the factory was in reference to the amount of the item produced, not how many characters could use it. This is also from factory 2.0, prior to a lot of rule & standards changes.
  • Seydon's Farwalker Armor (62 posts for terentatek leather, used for force resistance/dampening)

------
WITHOUT ADDITIONAL DEV THREADS
  • Remove dark side nexus or reduce production to unique.
  • Choose between the nexus aspect or force resistance aspect. (Semi-unique is fine with force resistance)
  • Add some kind of material (such as terentatek) that has a natural resistance to the force if force immunity/resistance is kept - otherwise remove force resistance/immunity.
  • If you would like limited production (per your question above) please remove force immunity/resistance & the dark side nexus. Current development is satisfactory for limited production without those two features.
------
WITH ADDITIONAL DEV THREADS
  • 10 to 15 posts (or anywhere inbetween) for Semi-Unique production of this armor if Dark Side Nexus is to be kept.
  • Choose between the Dark Side Nexus & Force Resistance/Immunity.
  • Add some kind of material (such as terentatek leather) that has natural resistance to the force. Otherwise please add 30 to 40 posts of development solely based around the pioneering in this area of alchemy for this specific effect for this specific armor.
  • If you would like limited production (per question posed prior) please remove the dark side nexus aspect. The development provided for phrik is fine. If force resistance is kept, please drop quality to a maximum of 9.
NOTES
  • Superior force resistance is generally obtained via taking an already resistant material (such as the hide of a terentatek) and then either enhancing its resistance through alchemy or otherwise making some kind of material out of it (like leather) for minimal resistances.
Please comply with the above requests in order to reach approval as expediently as possible. Failure to comply will result in a denial, you may second chance this submission and the judgement made here at any time via the second chance request thread.

If you have any questions or wish to see if other edits can be made to keep other features of the armor you are free to ask.

It is unresistant the following abilities: -Spear of Midnight Black -Force Crush(partially) -Force enhanced strength -Other exceptions can also be made

Krayzen Dratos said:
Wanting to borrow from this, Krayzen made sure that the helmet specifically featured thought shield, an ability that creates a force assisted mental barrier to protect the user from all forms of mental attacks, whether it be mind tricks, or force fear, or force illusion, and so on.

This should probably be removed, as there's no longer force resistance/immunity present.
