The Reaper of Won Shasot
The woman ducked beneath a blaster bolt that careened towards her, Dax sidestepping it directly after. As it passed he drew on the heat, less than a moment in time, but the extreme temperature of the tibanna gas gave Dax the ability to create a decent sized flame in the palm of his hand, one that fed itself. The flames leapt from Dax's hands as he thrust his arm outwards, the flames bursting through the brush and reaching the man who'd sent the original bolt. His screams still echoed through the forest as the flames died out, rain sizzling as it struck the smoldering bushes and leaves.
Their attackers hesitated, the briefest lull in the onslaught. The demonstration of power and skill the two men had displayed was giving the attacking group some second thoughts. It was too late for them though. Three of those nearest would feel their energy quickly drain away, and then their lives as incandescent smoke lifted from their eyes and mouth and drifted towards the Rogue. He breathed in the life forces of the warriors and exhaled, satisfied. The remainder began to run.
