If Shan had been in a better mindset, he might have tried to summon Faust from his crystal but he didn't want to potentially risk any kind of emotional feedback lashing out. He wasn't sure if that would be a thing but it wasn't something he wanted to risk. Though he nodded when Iris said it could be useful.

"Oh. It can be plenty useful. Depending on what form it takes for her, it might be able to comfort the wounded. Who doesn't like seeing a little bird?...Apart from people who are afraid of birds I guess..."

Iris nodded her head slowly. A bird familiar. Definitely reminded her of those created by the Sith. And then laughed. Just a bit, as Shan went on about people being afraid of birds. He was right about that, sure, but he was still thinking of others even now. Even after everything that had happened and what he was just talking about earlier. Maybe it was because his mind wasn't on it, but still, it was good to see.

"I look forward to seeing what hers might appear as."

Shan blinked to himself. Had he said something that was funny? Normally he was trying to make people laugh, but he hadn't even been meaning to make Iris laugh. That was good though. Laughter helped remind Shan that there was still good things in the Galaxy, even if he had came across plenty of bad things that had shook him.

"Agreed. I don't even have an inkling as to what her's would appear as..."

There was the obvious suggestion of a bird but even then...He shook his head before glancing over towards Iris, giving her a small smile.

"Thanks by the way. For letting me talk. I know I'm your patient and everything right now, but I appreciate it."
