Dominion of Mindabaal (Interest and Ideas)

[member="Darth Kentarch"]

Well yes, my plan may have to change eventually, what I mentioned would be a best case scenario. One of the reasons I've chosen this planet as my first Dominion is because one can expand in a multitude of directions. If it should cool down, we could still take a sizeable chunk by claiming Galantos or just Oraturoo and IC'ly it functions as a platform for later expansions. I suppose my error may lie in looking too much at maps and knowing too little of the planets.

In any case, will you be joining this one? If you can spare a post or two it would be helpful.

Alright! So this has been dormant for far too long and I apologize. We all got a little caught up in the invasion of Ord Mirit and many are helping the Primeval against the Silvers (Go Primeval!). I just want you all to know, I'm still working on this, and I hope to have it up by the end of Mayferria and Gratos. I know we are all weary and many are on LOA's, but we can do this!

I also had some ideas as I've been mulling this over. One of the ideas would be to centre the dominion more about the royal wedding. All who want to sign up for this part will gain access as a guest, because a Sith (In which case, dibs ;D ) is marrying the Crown-Prince. Meaning one side of the aisle will be populated by Sith posing as the bride's family. After the marriage is certified, and all the guests are good and drunk (say after the third dance) then the royal family and their guests are slaughtered, clearing the path to the throne.

Simultaneously, Sith troops will land in the night and take out or over all government facilities to quell any rebellion. This will give you your chance of grand-scale slaughter as you crush dissidents and rebels under the steel boot of the Sith Empire.

And of course, there will be a lot of chances to do your own Sithy thing.

How is this for a suggestion? Any input, thoughts back and forth? This is not a strict schedule or plan, just a general idea of how it might transpire.

OK, well if we are posing as a Rattaki's (sorry if that was spelt incorrectly) close family, I highly doubt she's related to a Zabrak, or a fish, ([member="Darth Veles"], sorry). So, using the person mentioned in the brackets, as he is excellent in disguises, he could, perhaps using the Force morph our appearances to match the bride, if we are to pose as family?

Or I could be disguising Ophidia to look human (Seriously, some makeup, a well-fastened wig and bam.) A human can have a great extended family, and family does not always have to be through blood. There would also be friends, colleagues, teachers, all sort of dear people at a wedding. Species is no limit.

Now, this one sounds a little ridiculous... You could pose as a Twi'lek Dancer, marrying a king? Imagine how that would rile up the state, their king marrying someone who dances for money? And, then the OS inject rumours on how he met her, doing drugs and finding her, e.t.c. [member="Darth Ophidia"].

All you'd need is some imaginative face-paint, two lekku's, fake or real, they wear bands around their heads anyway, so that isn't to matter the thing should be secure.

That would be very effective, but hardly covers the 100 posts needed for a dominion xD

I am not sure what you mean.

Huuh. Such a scandal.

Oh I was just talking about the whole Sith bride idea and being a little funny about you saying everyone posing as the bride's family. Kind of a "what no love for the groom?" Joke.

*shrugs*

If the wedding gets attacked by anti-Sith terrorists who disagree with the king's decision to invite the OS to the party, it will give the royal family an excuse for brutally wiping out all anti-Sith minded people.

Let's say the beautiful young couple gets murdered by the terrorists... totally a reason for the king to hunt down any and all who dare to speak against his decision to invite the OS :)

I don't know. It sort of messes with the one most attractive features, which is the whole Red Wedding scenario. Enjoying a big happy event before turning on the other guests in order to put Sith on the throne. At first the idea was to crash the party (and that option is still viable for the final objectives), but getting invitations by one of us being the bride seems easier, cleaner, and it gives a lot of fun conversation starters. Like "How do you know the bride?" and having to come up with a good cover story. It's fun dialogue, and rather uncommon in Dominions.

And what if people in brown robes, wielding blue/green lightsabers attacked the wedding? Might as well give the king/our puppet government a legal reason to outlaw the Jedi and make people fear those peacekeepers? :)

That'd be some nice material for anti-pub propaganda as well.
