Dominion of Ojom Hex

Hey guys, so finally we're wrapping up our Eclipse Hex Dominion, seeing where we are with the stories in there, we need only about 2 maybe 3 rounds of post and it will be ready to be submitted since the only thing left in there is wrap up the storylines going on like pushing into the Jedi Stronghold and looting it, capture of the Sith Outpost, or Archim's adventure with the natives and humanitarian aid.

I want to start talking about the next dominion we'll do, the dominion of the Ojom Hex which is just north of the Eclipse hex, that will fill out the space between us and the GA and allow us to move ahead with the plan to continue storyline of Corellia and its place between FWC and us, possibly trading it away to FWC.

So I picked Ojom as the planet to take because it's the most interesting in the hex, it's a planet covered in frozen oceans, so mostly glaciers, which I think would be an interesting setting, especially if we'll do battle on top of one of the glaciars, just open field, a white expanse stretching out for what seems eternity. Another interesting thing about Ojom, that fits with our theme, is the fact that the planet relies on space stations in its orbit to accommodate populations of beings that are not so used to life on a frozen hellhole. Since we've established that Metal Lords are pretty good at making space stations, and a lot of them, we could use that as a major element of our story.

I want to hear your ideas about what you would want to do either in the planet's orbit or with one of its frozen oceans, I was thinking that we could have at least to major settings, one being a battle on one of the glaciers either against the Deep Ones or Sith Remnants, or perhaps a Banished Metal Lord, and the other is building another big space station in the planet's orbit, something like Space Bazaar to give companies within our territory a chance to get another contract and opportunity to expand.

Any objection to me carving out a hidden rebel Resistance base in the permafrost?

OOCly you know my policy, I won't stop you from storylines but be ready for IC consequences if we find out about anything that breaks our codes. ICly HK would have objections to it, because he wants to support the Resistance in their fight against Imperials and the Sith, but his one rule is that he doesn't want any of it tracked back to him and Metal Lords.

So if you want to make the Resistance base, and I'll offer this to the Resistance leader, you would need to do so in secret behind HK's back as the Metal Lords deal with other stuff on the planet, maybe by disguising it as construction of a mining or research operation.

So there would already be space stations above? What are the chances of one malfunctioning, and slowly drifting toward the atmosphere?

Not really SJ's style. I'll come up with some other approach to the story then.

Going to rip off a story I did very early on in my Chaos time in a previous dominion on another planet. In that dom, the old Empire (Palpi's Empire) had built a facility that was one of the places that created Dark Troopers. My objective in that dom was find out what the facility was for and in learning my girl was attacked by these droids. (The reason she fears droids.) When it was learned what the facility was for and that these droids were still active, she needed to then destroy everything. Timeline within her story though at that time, she was an apprentice and Ra actually just got one herself. So it sort of makes sense to put her own apprentice through almost the same thing she went through.

Now she would be more reluctant to just destroy it all due to her involvement with the MLs. The premise of the idea though would pretty much be the same. Ancient facility and the need to learn what is in it.

Looking at the wiki of it, it was also under the rule of Hutt Empire and Greater Maldrood (whom I have never heard of). So those are also areas to explore as further options.
