Don't Disturb the Water (Azurea & Rapax)

The problem with using a terrain altering illusion on someone who had been on the terrain longer was ... she knew what was there and what wasn't already. Blocking the attacks, she continued her retreat back and she felt that sensation of being sucked down into the swamp. The male was also charging his lightsabers with lightning, a technique she knew rather well as she had used it many times.

"Illusions are great and all, but you need to make sure it's on ground of your choosing when you do an environment one," Taeli lectured, a condescending smile on her lips. "You're fighting a former Sith Sorceress, you think I wouldn't recognize an illusion on ground I've been on for two days?"

A flick of her hand and a spear of ice formed and rocketed towards Setzi as she froze the water molecules in the air. The male would attack when he was good and ready, most likely very soon ... but she had a plan for that too.

Jedi Master Raaf was immune to the illusion it seemed. She knew the terrain in the swamp, and that was to be expected. Darth Azurea didn't know enough about the powerful lightsider to startle her with a vision more unanticipated. But in time, she would know the background of this one. She would find out her weak spots. And whether Taeli knew it or not, she had made an arrangement with Master Harrison to come to Voss under special circumstances with the goal of seeing her sister, Chastity, who was dying in a medbay somewhere from Sith poison. If Harrison had given Azurea lip-service and hadn't planned to follow through with his promise, he would pay deeply.

But she would give him time as she had agreed to.

At the ice spear, Darth Azurea threw up a Force Bubble. Now she was free to use Dun Moch to her heart's contentment.

"Is that the best you can do?!?"

She paused and continued taunting like a schoolyard bully.

"Everytime we meet Master Raaf, I am stronger. I could not do this on Contruum, but just look at me now," she snarled. "One day I will surpass you in skill, cunning and power."

Azurea let out a growling laugh and said, "Of course, that time could be now, couldn't it? So why don't we end this charade and you just give me all you have."

With a wave of her hand, she deactivated the shimmering energy bubble.

"I want your best attack and I WANT IT NOW!" Azurea demanded.

[Rapax]

Rapax took note of the ability that was recently used......a former sorceress eh?...which means combat with the force would prove almost useless to one whose whole purpose is to master the force it self and every aspect of it......he latched onto [member="Taeli Raaf"]'s force aura with Force drain to start slowly draining her aura to keep him sustained.....this was one of the few times he was glad that he learned it its proved quite useful. He dashed at her and did a flurry of attacks with his now lightning infused blades. He kept at it until [member="Darth Azurea"] could make her move.

Taeli merely quirked an eyebrow at Azurea's outbursts, trying to goad her into actions beyond what she wanted. Her companion ... she could feel him trying to siphon away her Force energy with Drain. Interesting chap, but then he was attacking her with his lightning infused lightsabers and she knew Drain required more focus than what he was giving to continuously effect her. Unless he was using the version that wiped out whole planets, but then he would be draining everything around them.

Still, she had no desire to be shocked by the discharge effect so she made sure to use her footwork to keep herself away from his blades while Azurea held back.

"You honestly want my best?" she asked, dodging another lightsaber attack from the male Knight whatever his name was. "This is the second time you've come at me not alone, honestly it seems like you're the one who needs the help in facing me at just what I've done ... and all I'm doing is defensive in nature. I admit, you sound like a spoiled child who needs their master or associates to help them fight. Maybe if you took the time to actually study your opponents, you might understand what gets under their skin instead of sounding like a nine year old on the schoolyard."

Was she intentionally pushing Setzi's buttons? Yes, and actually she was quite enjoying it. Getting her all riled was entertaining to watch Taeli had to admit and the male was clearly not in his comfort zone when in close quarters fighting. Otherwise, he would know that his current idea of launching attacks to keep her moving just fed into her technique and was just tiring him out.

It was difficult to tell if she was getting under the Jedi Master's skin, but Raaf was certainly getting under hers much like a thousand prickling splinters would if they were embedded in your flesh.

Use it, Darth Azurea thought. Let the rage and anger flow through you.

"Oh I will get to know you," she said. "Up close and personal if that's the way you want it."

Her attack enhanced by Force Speed, Darth Azurea closed the gap between her and the Jedi Master. Paying heed to where Darth Rapax was in this three-way dance, she swung her lightsaber at Master Raaf in a series of sharp Makashi moves. There will be no reprieve from the pressure now, thought Azurea, determined to stay right on top of the Jedi Master. There will be only pain.

Rapax knowing now that he cannot drain lightning and attack at the same time he backed off and fired a beam from his ion ion paddler on the wrist part of his armor. He was being mindful of [member="Darth Azurea"] however if [member="Taeli Raaf"] tried to block it would go through her block aiming for one of her legs to try and paralyze it

And then Setzi was on her, up close and personal and launching much more precise Makashi strikes. Taeli parried each one to her side, still playing on the defense, but she kept Setzi in the way of her companion with shifts in her position. When he fired some sort of energy projectile at her leg, she simply shifted her exposed leg so that Setzi would once again be in the way of him getting a clear shot.

Why waste energy deflecting energy projectiles when Setzi was kind of enough to be an up close shield from such attacks while in her rage? She would keep on the defense for now still, her mind working out a way to deal with her opponents. She had research to do after all ... and maybe a surprise was needed. They would have no idea of her bracers after all, something to consider then.

Darth Azurea was moving so fast that she luckily dodged the energy bolt as well. She knew where she was in position to Darth Rapax and he was well aware of Azurea's positioning. The brunette Sith Lord would be no human shield today.

Azurea struck in a diagonal slash at Master Raaf's midsection and with the other hand she used a burst of Telekinesis to throw the Jedi into a nearby pile of boulders. If the woman hit, she would smash against them perhaps causing a cracked rib or broken bone.

"Then again, there's much to be said for personal space," Azurea said with a throaty laugh.

Rapax backed off the ion beams for now given he didn't want [member="Darth Azurea"] to be made a human shield by [member="Taeli Raaf"] again. He decided a new tactic he went behind Taeli and went to attack at her back while she was occupied by Azurea, If it was countered he had a few tricks to work on
