Ultimatum
Duranium Lord
Deep space
Such an interesting concept, deep space. What made it fit that description? Deep was hardly the term that Ultimatum would have used. When organics named it such was it because they thought of water? If so, then why was logic not used in the naming process. Surely water is more dense than air, and planets are more dense than the near vacuum of space. Wouldn't that mean that the planet's would be considered deep? Ultimatum had to stop himself from following that line of thought, organics were rarely logical within their day to day lives. Now, why was he here? What did it matter? Did he have to explain every decision to organics? When they explain their illogical conclusions Ultimatum would explain his decisions. Ultimatum thought to himself as he prepared to send out his message. He had recently learned that a number of intelligence gathering agencies were looking for informants or other people who could acquire and transmit information. He had recently discovered the usefulness of droid espionage. Certainly it had its limits, but its strengths were numerous and far too valuable. Ultimatum found himself in a unique position, as far as he knew. His ability was such that hopefully he would have a plethora of information available, if he put his plans into motion.
There was a specific man that had need for connections. Ultimatum had decided that he fit that requirement. Thus he sent a message, discreetly as possible, to the apparent contact of this man in need of information. "Hello, I have heard that you need gatherers of information and contacts. I would like to offer my services. Might I request a face to face meeting?" Should he give his name? No, not yet. This was the information game after all.
