Ovry, Kiribi System

A heavily modified star courier reverted back to real space within the outer reaches of Kiribi system near the gas giant that was Ovry, soon to joined by thousands of other ships as they made their way for the interior regions. In the past, ships could have jumped directly for the capital planet of the KSU, the proliferation of terrorism and raids had prompted the government to regulate traffic more closely. Now all vessels would be forced into reversion at the outermost planet of the system by interdictors. Any unauthorized ships that attempted to skip this precaution by means of HIMS or some other measure would be treated at hostile and dealt with accordingly.

"Here we are," Arisa announced over the ship's intercomm system, piloting the courier herself.

Normally, she would be making these kinds of return trips by herself, but this time she had come home with guests to enjoy her two-week leave from her Watchman duties for both the SJO and KSU.

Sorel, and
Ms Baelor. For a long time, she had been wishing to give her friend a tour of her adopted home planet and get her to take a break from the monk routine for a time. From first meetings, Sorel had come off as quite an enlightened individual beyond most mortal concerns, but as she had gotten to know her better, Arisa figured that a lot of it had to do with the Epicantix just being asocial, going from a sheltered wealthy upbringing right for a strict training regime under the Silver Jedi. It was time to break her out of that shell.

As for
Ms Baelor, the girl had turned out to be quite a lovely individual from their mutual training sessions at the Voss Academy. As the Watchman looked to strengthen ties between the Iron Empire and KSU, she found it a good idea to make friends as she showcased her home planet. The plan was to have them both stay with her at her condo, then from there hit up all her favorite spots on Kiribi.

Sorel Crieff

Ready are you? What know you of ready?
Sorel was not overly familiar with the Kiribi system. She knew it was located in a region known as the Colonies. It was a region of the galaxy between the Core Worlds and the Inner Rim. Due to its close proximity to the galaxy’s economic and political powerhouse, the Core Worlds, the Colonies was a largely wealthy region consisting of booming industrial worlds, trade centres, and garden worlds.

So she sat on the star courier, a guest of Arisa who had promised her a tour of her adopted home planet. Once upon a time she might have turned the offer down, given she was busy with training and missions — but when she’d taken the role of Grand Master, she’d promised Thurion she would take more time to be Sorel the person and less time as Sorel the Jedi. In truth, one hour a week was an increase and the prospect of a short vacation initially gave her concern but she took her oath to Thurion seriously and so agreed to travel with Aster to the planet and see if she could relax and be less Jedi-like in the process.

It was not going to be easy, but she was keen to make the effort none the less.

Aster's heart raced at [member="Arisa Yune"]'s announcement. It had been quite a while, if ever since she had last been invited to spend time with others not in an official capacity as a representative of her family or the Iron Empire but just as Aster Rose Baelor, the teenager. Nervous, she sat silently on the star courier as the ship made its way to Kiribi, an unfamiliar planet beyond the regions she had grown accustomed to.

Feeling a little anxious, her heart beat a little faster with every passing minute. Although she did not vocalise it, she had felt a little guilty taking a break from her training - the purpose of her trip to Voss. A short break every now and then does not mean I'm straying. She bit her lip as she attempted to ease her guilt and carefully brushed her slender fingers through her intricate ponytail.

I wonder what kind of planet Kiribi is, the blonde-haired girl thought as the ship continued to close the distance between itself and the planet. Even though the answer was one that could simply be found by a simple flick of the wrist on the screen of a DataPad, she chose not to. There was more excitement in the unknown.
