Drinking on Christophsis

Zreame Ithrac Zeibitha

Drinker, singer, smoker. All round Fun haver and C
Zreame moved her own glass next to the little As-Aki. "Why don't you try Avedame Juice it's made of a delicious fruit and it's only lightly alcoholic." She said with a smile and then finished the shot that had been brought earlier, a shiver ran down her spine and ended in her tail which raised up a little. "Mhn~ that sure hit the spot." She then said to herself as she rolled her neck a little to loosen up it's joints.

@Sheila

"Not a problem" said Arkov, "If anything it serves as an ego booster". Turning back to the bar he raised his mostly empty glass to the bartender signaling for another, while the worker began mixing a duplicate Arkov quickly reassembled the gun in front of him before replacing it back inside of its holster next to another weapon of the same make. The merc ran a hand through his unkept hair slicking it back to a semi presentable state, he took the new drink that the bartender offered and downed a gulp grimacing as the bitter liquid burned its way down his throat. Turning back to Jaster he sat up before speaking, "You mentioned something about exploration researchers, I hope you don't mind if I pry into that a little bit", the merc didn't know if he'd get an answer or not but he was curious about the matter nonetheless.

Sheila saw her tail and her drink as she stood up on the rim as she looked at the other drink she was offering with a nod of her head. Dipping the piece in there while she took a sip and was hanging over the rim kicking her feet up. The taste of it was amazing while she came back up and looked at the woman with a nod of her head. "That is really good, like the fermented honey my brothers store up and make." She had a wider grin on her face while letting her eyes dart around the counter.

"Thought you might like it, it's my favorite drink and now that I think about the only alcohol I drink in a recreational way." She thought as she then leaned over the table while she made sure her tail was against her legs so she wouldn't trip anyone walking behind her. "I haven't heard that comparison before though, how many brothers do you have anyway? I've never gotten a number from you." she then said as her curiosity took a little over the reigns.

Sheila looked at her and spoke. "I have sixty three brothers and sisters living at the hollow. All together though with the ones we have had married off I have two hundred and eighty seven brothers and sisters." She tapped her chin getting another drink. "And my mom is pregnant for this year. So she'll most likely have another thirty come the end of the month." She offered a smile and was looking at the other things going on in the bar. "This place is strange, is this what humans do? They gather around and drink?"

[member="Arkov Lyrandis"]

Jaster looked up from his drink, and to the man. Without the helmet, he did look more non-Mandalorian, which made Jaster feel dumber. He finished his drink before tapping it on the edge of the bar to signify the bartender to bring another of his drink. The bartender swung around and picked up Jaster larger glass pint.

Jaster was still a bit buzzed so when the Arkov asked about his exploration mission it just slipped out as he watched the bartender make his next drink. "My company is finacing a new Hyperlane mapped out in the Unknown Region, real hush hush right now, we were gana pay good money to explorers to map one of the planets we wish to place along the lane, they bailed cuz of the ships disappearing, Comlany scouts show pirates and local warlords in the area, but who knows, I don't know what to do?"

Jaster never had his eyes leave the bartender until he brough him another drink. Jaster took it like a baby to a bottle and sipped from it. "So what's a merc like you doin out here." He stated as if he already forgot that the merc was looking for a job.

Gaila'Rae lifted her head up when [member="Alyssa"] asked her what had gotten her 'wound up', and in truth, the woman didn't want to share too much personal information with a stranger. But after a moment of thinking, Gaila'Rae decided just to leave out certain things from the whole thing "Well, earlier today I was dropped off here -on Christophsis that is- by my family, and I'm doubting I'll ever really speak to them again, at least for a long time anyways. And even though it was my decision to have them bring me here I am regretting it much more than I thought I would." Gaila'Rae did leave out the part that she was force sensitive though, as it was both personal information and useless to tell anyone, as currently the woman couldn't do anything with the force, as she had never received any training at all.

[member="Quinn Michaels"]

Arkov listened keenly to Jaster as he spoke, the mapping of a Hyper-lane wasn't exactly an everyday occurrence which meant a lot of credits were involved, especially if they aimed to keep it quiet, as for the pirates and warlords wouldn't executives expect their kind of interference and prepare for it? Arkov turned in his seat to face the man fully, "Was there any armed escorts sent in alongside the explorers, it may draw more attention but a safe operation is always better then the alternatives, even more so with the amount of credits being thrown around", he turned his head to the door for a moment thinking, he was hard pressed for credits at the moment and those he did have left were dwindling by the day, this opportunity could fix that.

"I'll be honest with you, the main reason I'm still on this planet is that a couple of thugs thinking they're all that stole my credit lockbox, I tracked down one of them but my weapon took a hit in the process" he said patting his holster, "I got what I could from them but it's not enough to get me a trail, I'm running low on funds at the moment and you need some help with your predicament, don't want to pull the sympathy card but I really don't have another option" he finished, he may of over exaggerated the lack of information on the thugs a little, maybe a lot due to his knowledge in fact of where his lockbox currently was but Jaster didn't have to know that, a little lie here or there never did any harm, especially if he came out of it with a little more credits.

Jaster looked into his drink, thinking of his crew and armada. His fleets and escorts were across the planets securing the ends of the routes and busy with other missions. He had no choice, he had no crew and ships to lend for the explorers, thats why he was lookin for mercs and smugglers. Then again he was a little buzzed and his thought proccess was speking out loud.

"Fleets are securing Csilla, Val'hala, and Crina, the escorts will have to be piloted by mercs, in the market for smugglers and fighters," jaster drank his drink again, "you find a team, I'll give you the ships, weapons, and the credits I was gana pay the Researchers, !00,000 credits a person, missions not that hard either."

Jaster opened his data pad to make sure that was the right amount, " Yup, thats right, and then payed again after its all done," he squinted, looking at the pad, "depending on what you bring back."

Kerkov waived off his guards, "Leave me, attend to the shuttle."

Entering the cantina Kerkov second guessed his own stature as a fleet admiral. What kind of Fleet admiral looked for officers in his military in a cantina? Well he did. Kerkov had been getting his hands dirty since day one, but of course not his prim and proper uniform. That amazement of a uniform was always white and shiny and Kerkov had never been seen without it.

As he walked in Kerkov saw a familiar face, a very familiar face,

"[member="Jaster of Clan Awaud"], you son of a nerf herder."

Ashin Varanin

Professional Enabler
The vendetta between [member="William Kerkov"] and [member="Jaster of Clan Awaud"] had started to get noticed in certain circles. So when the Mando merc and the guy in the pristine white uniform found themselves in the same room -- loudly -- it got a bit of attention.

At a corner booth, a certain heavyset Dark Jedi squinted in their direction. "Feth," he growled, maybe loud enough to hear, maybe not, "I can almost smell the testosterone. This could get problematic."

He slurped his lum and paid attention, hand not far from the blaster strapped to his thigh.

"Well this isn't what just humans do. Most sentient find this to be entertainment though they also sing, dance and laugh together." Zreame then said with a smirk to [member="Sheila"] before she gestured for her to move over a few seats as she saw trouble might be brewing and did the same. Her cigarillo left a trail of silvery smoke as she moved before she let out a puff of smoke behind her.

[member="Zreame Ithrac Zeibitha"]

Sheila looked around and gave a nod of her head to that. Something was brewing and she was pushing the small glass of her drink while she tried to avoid the more sticky sections while she was moving. "What is dancing... We do not have this at home." She got another drink though and could smell the cig in the air while she was looking around at the people in the bar and put it close to Zreames drink.

[SIZE=12pt]Leilani looked up now she had never seen a Shistavanen and this one he was regal, “Well if you join me I won’t be alone” She took in the details of his fur, the decorations that held the long layers in equal amounts. The coloring of his fur was gorgeous.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=12pt]So was this her contact, was this the raven that was going to work with her on her next mission, her next endeavor. She smiled, “You must forgive me I’ve never met anyone of your species before and I’m quite enamored by the beautiful colors of your species.”[/SIZE]

[SIZE=12pt]She made the motion for him to sit, she tilted her head, “So…I’m Leilani, are you [member="Kurogan"] ?” If so this next mission would be very interesting.[/SIZE]

Kurogan

Padawan Fluffaluffagous!
He smiled taking the seat across form the young beauty "My species are.. some times ignored mostly because how.. eh vicious we look." he couldn't help but let out a small laugh he never heard anyone complement about his fur before little lone a sub human species "I must say that's a new one. I never had anyone say such things but I thank you."

He flag down a waiter giving her his order once she left Kurogan glance back up at the Zeltron his light blue eyes took every detail in, he couldn't look away he wasn't sure as to why. Location: Christophsis Cantina... apparently
Objective: Shenanigans
Allies: @Susan Patricia Garter
Enemies: Lack of Drink

Triam Akovin couldn't remember a time since she was last at a social gather of people at a Cantina or whatever. In fact, the last time she was in a cantina, it was trashed with Preliat Mantis standing in the midst of it all alone. Before that, she was drunk off the handle on Wallala... which was sorta fun from what she remembers? Which wasn't saying much, she really let herself go that time, it was a good thing Preliat was around to rescue her then. Which reminded her, that time he was in the broken cantina was not the last time. She could hardly believe she could have forgotten, given the extremely sensitive and serious nature of her last encounter with Preliat Mantis... which just so happened to be in a cantina.

Okay, so perhaps she frequented cantinas more often than she realized, but she never identified them as social gatherings. This though? This was sort of different. She just sold something or other to some customer named what-his-face, and was coming back from a long day of work. It only made sense that she made a quick pit stop here before heading out. Her freighter was low on fuel anyway, so it was given the treatment again on yet another world.

That damn thing was such a money sink, she would consider replacing it at some point due to its incredibly crappy state of being.

At any rate, she took a stole, ordered a drink, sat down, and started scribbling on some sort of napkin thing. Today she was wearing her customary armor, though the clothe surrounding her was different from the one she used on Geonosis, and she had retracted her helmet and did not bring any other gear.

She also tinkered with her prosthetic hand as well, demonstrating her profound technical aptitude.

It smelt of expensive cigarets, accent was noticeable, and he called Jaster a 'Sine of a Nerf Herder', it could only be two people and one was dead. So it had to be, "Admiral Kerkov!" Jaster exclaimed with enthusiasm.

Jaster downed the last of his drink before tapping it again for a refill, he was nearing the line of being drunk. He turned his seat to face [member="William Kerkov"], old friend slash rival nearing the boarder of near murderous tensions. "What brings you so near Rebel and Union boarders?" Jaster stood but was very wobbly, "Collecting contracts for the war?" Jaster pointed to the sky, unknown to him to the reason but he went with it.

"Good for you, happy to good you," Jaster paused to fix his mistake, "wait, no, good to see you, ya."

Jaster fell back in his seat and leaned his back against the bars table. His eye sight was blurry and he soon noticed they were making a scene in the cantina and people were wondering what would happen.

Miss Blonde

Trying to be straight in a crooked Galaxy
[member="Triam Akovin"]

A younger Patricia would of loved going to a bar, just getting hammered and going home with someone you didn't really know for a night of adult situations and graphic nudity. But getting married and having two kids kind of changes your perception of responsibility and what not. But when you were on your way home from a long business trip believe it or not hyper space didn't get you from point A to B in mere minutes. Sometimes it could take hours or days to get from one end of the galaxy to the other, even factoring that everything was moving it was immensely insane. So stopping at a bar and getting a drink or two was always good.

Patricia walked into the bar and her eyes scanned everything, a few disputes here and there nothing out of the ordinary. But then her eyes locked on someone she recognized. It had been a long time years and years but she never forgot a face. It was that woman she mistook as a man at a bar like this one years ago. Patricia let out a small giggle to herself and ordered a drink. Nothing alcoholic as she still had to fly herself home, and being drunk on a planet you didn't know wasn't a good thing.

So the blonde bombshell in the red dress and heels took her fruity little Virgin drink and walked over to wear the other woman was sitting. She flashed her a small grin and spoke.

"I remember you, from that cantina years ago. I was the one doing body shots, let me see if I can remember. Gosh it was so long ago. Trin was it?" she said trying to remember her name.

"Sorry if this seems weird I just thought I recognized you from somewhere." she said with that same little smile.

Kerkov had a small chuckle and sat down to the seat next to [member="Jaster of Clan Awaud"],

"It seems I'm not the only one with a bad habit. I would recommend you keep your voice level down, I believe I saw a merc palm his gun."

Then looked at the bartender and placed a few credit chips on the table,

"Water, absolutely no alcohol."

Kerkov gripped the glass that the bartender handed him,

"So Jaster, how is the science business? I havent seen you since... the Bakura incident."

[member="William Kerkov"]

Jaster turned in his seat to face the bar, just as he did the bartender set another Cassandra Sunrise in front of him. Bartender seems to continue to not fix his mistake and causing Jaster to become more drunk then poisoned. He sipped at is as the admiral spoke to him nodding and drinking at the comment about keeping it down.

Jaster leaned forward over his drink to smell it, unknown why himself, then sat back again. "Well I admit I'm a drunk and accept me for who I am, as for the science buisness, making more money then I can spend if that's what your wondering, but I figured you'd be the first to know that I'm in the trades buisness now, exploring the unknown region and all that, even got an armada twice the size of your patrolling the trade stations."

Jaster continued to drink in breaks between the conversations, "Acturally my friend here.... Umm.... Shoot I forgot his name, well anyways he willing to help me for a price, though he needs a smuggler or pilot and looking for an escort, pro-" Jaster interupted himself to say something, "[member="Arkov Lyrandis"], that's the kids name!" Jaster drifted off as he was happy he could remember the name.

"Anyways, my armada is busy with securing trade stations, so no escort or pilot or mercs or smugglers available from the company, but I'm sure he will find something." Jaster was really drunk by now.
