Zonia Kalranoos
Caveat emptor
"Aye, the Jedi can do lasting damage, more often than not." the Hapan agreed, then let her palate taste more of that wine. Her glass was almost empty, so she rose from her seat to give them both a refill. The bottle was half-gone and they haven't even had anything to eat. Nonetheless, Tionne was far from tipsy. She was the kind of person who held in their liqour rather well.
"Unlike my kindred, I do admit some dark powers can be rather useful." she admitted, feeling free to voice her opinions which are usually considered heresy among other Jedi - "Takes quite the character to resist the power of the dark side. I've threaded such a path far too many times, in the eyes of the Council. Meddling with people's minds is not exactly in line with the Jedi Code."
Thanewulf returned into her seat and sat back, glass once again finding its way into her hand.
"But one does not choose their talents; you are dealt your cards at birth. A Hapan such as myself will never be a formidable Djem So practicioner. But I am far from useless in the war against the Sith. Or at least I like to think so."
Thanewulf blinked upon realizing she was just talking about herself for the past couple of minutes. How rude.
"Do you have family?" she inquired, genuinely interested in Siobhan's life. Almost efortlessly, the topic of conversation became far more intimate, only because Tionne felt that a seamless transition was possible. Before Lady Kerrigan even had time to reply, the waitor returned with two plates of fried shrimp with asparogous and carrot.
"Bon apetit!" the waitor said upon placing food on the table, then anxiously watched Lady Kerrigan and her verdict on the meal he brought. The Jedi woman hated most of seafood, but the dish smelled lovely. Several weeks passed since she had a proper meal, which meant some serious self-restraint imposed not to devour the contents of the plate like an animal. Instead, she lifted the fork ellegantly and ever so lightly stabbed a crispy shrimp tail.
