DESCRIPTION
G.A.S 5 is a battle armor thought to engage in an air or ground attack with some common characteristics.
The HUD serves as to show indicators of proximity and area scan, and to avoid unnecessary debris in the eyes of the user. The two metal wings help for a better take off and change flight direction, using the jetpack to accelerate. Lastly, the respirator, to support greater heights. The desh battery is use as the only energy force, giving power to the wings, the jetpack, the HUD visor.
About the kind of damage it can resist. Bolts or other fire weapon damage is easy for it to resist. Of course, the armor starts to wear away if the hits lands on the same position. The damaged plates or parts can be replaced quickly if needed and those parts can be dropped to increase movement speed using commands from the HUD with the eyes.
Although the armor helps with the part of the lifting (and it weights perfect for the jet pack to work correctly), a veteran soldier would have a hard time maintain a running speed after a while, becoming unbearable. That’s the reason this armor is useful for an attacking party that need to advance at a slow pace (keeping a position), but the engage would be quickly at the start thanks to gliding and flying capacity.
In modularity, the user can attach to the waist a belt with grenades or better armor plating, but that depends on the user.
