Eclipse Industries is a heavy industry and manufacturing firm based on Krayiss II, founded by Darth Morta under her legal identification of Desha Kairn. In order to maximize its potential, Eclipse Industries has facilities both planet-side and in orbit. Its products are for both civilian and military purposes, from blasters to speeders to starships and armour, as well as taking on custom orders, as its primary concern is keeping Krayissi citizens employed and working so they aren't plotting to overthrow their Sith overlords rather than turning out maximum profits, but, the profits are a nice side bonus.
RATIONALE
In a bid to restore the economy of Krayiss 2 after her coup Darth Morta used taxes to create the crown corporation Eclipse Industries, an industrial and manufacturing firm intending to stimulate the planetary economy. In order to employ as large a percentage of the population base as possible, Eclipse Industries is a bit of a do everything company without overly specializing. This company is Darth Morta's first step into the expansion of her power base, ensuring her own survival in the turmoil of the galaxy and as a stepping stone to putting herself on a similar level as her peers in the Sith Order. The ability to build her own fleets and equip her own armies is a nice bonus that she certainly intends to take advantage of.
