He disliked this part of him, as it erupted outwards, as it lashed out around him. He hadn't wanted to and it felt so disappointing for it to surface again. The anger was back to the surface, now, and he had to find a way to get it down. The runes were active now, truly active, burning his skin, as the dark forced its way to the surface, tendrils attempting to grasp at him like a sarlaac's tentacles. He took deep breath, after deep breath. Trying to calm his heart. He knew that she'd have an opening, and he'd have to focus on avoiding strikes, if he wanted to have any chance of reclaiming his calm.
She'd been sent flying with the burt of power he'd released, and she crashed into a trooper much harder than she probably was hoping for. He'd winced, though through the fighting, he couldn't deny the rush that he was feeling, the elation of having launched her, of having that power over her. But he knew that he would have to stop this or he could slip further.
As he tried, as his heartrate slowed again... Suddenly she screamed a horrible, terrible sound that set his teeth on edge and rang in his ears. Another scream to add to those that rattled in his head, perhaps. Or perhaps not.
Then, as soon as it had begun, it ended and as he looked to her, he could see a horrified look on her face, fear crippling her, for a moment and he saw the water trickling down her hands. He froze. She would die... Then she suddenly turned and started to run. No! If she ran, she... she would use up the rest of her oxygen... and... And she would die!! The fear lanced up and through him. He forced himself to focus, stumbling towards the door before firing several stun rounds at her. He would make sure she survived. He didn't care what she'd done, she needed to live.
