- Appearance: Gonzales believes that policing begins with one's self, and as such takes great care to ensure his appearance is immaculate at all time. His uniform is perfect at all times, and was so well-regarded by CSF Senior Command that they had the Public Relations Division feature him in the Trooper's Catalog 845 to showcase new uniform items and gear to CSF officers. He slicks his hair with a liberal amount of gel to prevent mishaps on the job, and his vision is augmented with state-of-the-art optical enhancers.

He is also happy to assist his bosses, even if they seem to be menial tasks.

- Combat Function: Eddie has never been involved in an officer-involved shooting, though he's frequently provided on-scene support to officers engaged in them. He regularly qualifies with his service weapon, but has yet to truly apply his honed lethality to a police situation. He speaks of his desire to use his blaster at some point, but this is clearly in an effort to appear cool.
PO Edward Gonzales III began service with the Coruscant Security Force at the rank of Probationary Peace Officer (PPO). After eight months of training, PO Gonzales graduated from the academy and was promoted to the rank of Police Constable (PC), and received a corresponding pay grade increase.
He served nine years in the Fosobi Precinct as a constable, specializing in vehicular crash investigations. He also provided support to detectives in neighboring precincts in homicide, burglary, and arson investigations. He was laterally promoted to the rank of Peace Officer (PO) and transferred to the Slum District 17 Precinct, where he leads the Crime Scene Support Team.
In 849 ABY, he was awarded the CSF Medal of Valor and is credited with saving the lives of dozens of civilians during the Galactic Alliance's sack of Coruscant. He was awarded the same award in 851 ABY when he rescued over one hundred children from a burning orphanage during civil unrest following the Galactic Alliance's announcement to relocate their capital to Coruscant. PO Gonzales is the only peace officer to have received the Medal of Valor twice at his respective rank.
