STRENGTHS & WEAKNESSES[ + ] Goddess in human form - According to the religion of the Kingdom of Celeste, the royal family are said have been descended from Gods and thus, their monarchs are the leaders of the kingdom's religion. It is also believed that as the Queen, Elaina is capable of performing miracles, however, whether this is true or not has yet to be proven.
[ + ] Warrior - Due to her kingdom's warrior culture, Elaina is a trained warrior. Taught the art of combat by the best warriors in her kingdom, she is a formidable fighter who can hold her own in a fight.
[ - ] Yet to be Christened on the battlefield - Though Elaina is learned in the art of combat, she has yet to fight anyone who is aiming to kill her in earnest so whether she can actually put the skills she had developed to good use is questionable.
[ - ] Forbidden from using combat Force abilities - As the embodiment of the Goddess, she is forbidden from using the Force in any offensive manner as it would be seen as an abuse of the power the Goddess has blessed her with. Additionally, it is also thought that if she was to use the holy power of the Force in such a manner, she would become impure and her reserves tainted until a Ceremony of Purification can be performed.
BIOGRAPHY
The eldest of two daughters, Elaina was born in the royal palace in Celeste's Capitol of Eaux Saintes while the kingdom was engaged in a long and bitter war with Solis, their rival in the west. Due to the lengthy war, Elaina's early childhood was a turbulent one with no sense of stability until both kingdoms, war-worn, called for an armistice after a long stalemate and with the war between the two kingdoms temporarily over, the young princess had her first taste of peace and stability. Although she was able to remember little from this period of her life, the tragedy of war would leave its mark on her.
With the war concluded, a desire to break the tradition and end the centuries long conflict between the two kingdoms took root in the young princess with the birth of her sister. Delicate and innocent was the newborn baby, igniting a desire within Elaina to protect the child from the devastation and tragedy forged by war. As the girl blossomed into a young woman, her resolve to put an end to the conflict only grew. The stark contrast between her few but horrible memories of the war and the kingdom's prosperity during the period of peace made her value peace even more - something her sister found difficult to understand.
Groomed to become the next Queen of Celeste, Elaina was tutored by the best in the kingdom, ascending the throne at the young age of 17 after her father died under mysterious circumstances. Prioritizing the peace between the two kingdoms, she did not have her father's death investigated and potentially give rise to a casus belli against their historic enemy, Solis. There was no price to high for her to pay for the well-being of the people of Celeste.
Though her reign so far have been relatively peaceful so far, tensions between Celeste and Solis are beginning to brew anew prompting the young Queen to extend the olive branch by offering her hand in marriage to the King of Solis and unite the two kingdoms under a single banner once more.
