FOR ALL OF THOSE AT THE SLAVE YARDS
The orbital bombardment had stopped and Krag's Horde Masters had taken notice of that. They knew that they didn't have long but if they pushed hard and fast enough they could overwhelm the Republic forces. A horn sounded out through the battle field and then another storm of screaming Graug exited out of the mountain tunnels. Each warrior was ready to die and each was anxious to taste Jedi blood. The mountains themselves seemed to come to life as
4 ENTIRE GRAUG HORDES exited from the hallows and immediatly followed the lead of their Horde Masters who charged down the mountains. This wasn't an ocean of Graug forces, it was a cosmic storm of them who all rushed forward to blow away the specs of Republic dust that tainted their territory. 12 total Glycon Warbeasts were following close behind, their massive artillery pieces firing round after round at the Republic forces. Out in front of each horde were two Collosal Dread Spiders that used their giant forelegs to deflect blaster bolts away from the army.
This was a war like the Republic had never fought before, it was as if they had lept back in time to a place where arimes rushed at one another from opposing sides of a battlefield. Explosive arrows rained down into the clone ranks, imapacting them and sticking into their armor before blowing them to bloody pieces. Pulse rounds, not deflectable by lightsabers, hailed down towards the Jedi and their clone soliders like a meteor storm and each was aimed for a kill shot. By the time the Republic ships had reacquired their targets, most of the Graug horde would be too close to Reublic forces and oribital bombardment would result in catostophic casualties by friendly fire.
The Republic wanted a war and they were going to get it....
In Space
As the weapons were offline, the Invictus E brought all power reserved for weapons back to the shields and all non-critical systems were shut down and diverted to the engines. The Star Destroyer than turned towards Daella's ship and the technicians onboard overroad all ship safteys and plotted a fast course toward the Republic ship. The forces onboard were but only Graug drones and were not prone to the fear of death as normal Imperial soldiers would be, they simply did as they were told and tried to kill as many of their enemies as they could. With what little power the ship had left, it was able to deflct the Republic's firepower just long enough to meet it target. The full force of the Sith capital ship would surly overload the Republic's shields and shear the vessel in half, Daella and those on the bridge would survive if they were able to close emergency bulkheads fast enough, but the vessel would be out of commission.
Meanwhile, the frigate began to break apart and fall to the surface. The Graug onboard, knowing their death was assured, quickly diverted all power to the core and caused a crital overload. The resulting explosion sent a shockwave through the void of space that decimated all of the Republic's attacking bombers and fighters. A small victory, but the Graug died happy knowing that they had taken the enemy with them.
Krag's post now
To say that Krag saw Vulpesen coming would be a lie. The Graug Sith was completely unaware of the Jedi's presence until he felt the feeling of his searing blade melting through what little protection he had under his arm and into his skin. The Graug Warlord screamed out in pain and dove back and away from his new oppenent, his skin searing and the feelings of burned tissue causing him a great deal of internal pain. The armor had done enough to protect him from a through and through shot, which would have no doubt killed him, but the blade had pierced deep enough inside Krag's body to reach his left lung and burn it severly. He could feel his breath becoming shallow and it hurt to breath. This had been the worst Krag had ever been hurt during his time as a Sith, it was the first time since his training that he could feel the strain of possible death tugging at his soul.
Taking a deep, wheezing breath Krag stood back up and faced down his new opponent. Every movement caused him pain, but that pain just made him angrier and more determined than ever to kill the Jedi. There would be no more games, Krag needed to act quickly and dispatch these Jedi so that he could heal himself properlly and not die here on this planet. Bringing his right hand up to his chest, Krag quickly charged the force into his palm before thrusting it forward at the new Jedi and unleashing a burning cloud of embers at him. If the Jedi was touched by the embers, they would surly sear through his skin but that was no the ultimate surprise that Krag had in store for him. When the cloud got in range of the Jedi, regardless if they burned him or not, the beast closed his fist and the embers suddenly exploded outward into bursts of flame that covered a two meter radius.
