So far from what I can get is that you are just making things harder on [member="Alicia Drey"] despite her attempts to work things out because you have had bad things happen to you before related to companies that has NOTHING to do with Alicia at all. You keep calling this a game, and yet you aren't willing to play with her at all. You also admitted that you are hardly doing anything on here, so why are you making life hard on her? You also clearly made an IC decision that concerned Alicia without her consent, which is not right. The reason you gave for it too was that things were "more convenient OOCly" that ways, but I see no reason how it was. Alicia admitted she had to take an LOA twice, but that is no reason for you to have done any of this.

So to sum up what I see here, you are having a case of "well it happened to me so you can deal with it too" on the whole issue and are just being a jerk to her to be a jerk. You have no IC plans from the sounds of it for the most part outside of maintaining the status quo, but Alicia is actually trying to develop things ICly to which you refuse to allow her to do because you just don't feel like it. Everything you have admitted here and all the information presented leads me to this conclusion. This issue badly needs an RPJ if you continue to refuse to work with her like you have been for such selfish, petty reasons as you have stated here.

If he doesn't want to roleplay anymore nor do anything with the companies, I don't think he should just be allowed to sit on them. Especially when someone else also put a lot of equal work as well. ICly the situation would be understandable, and I'd see it as stolen. But there's no continued IC, he's just sotting on a pillow for eternity, and it's the only pillow. A pillow Alicia helped with

His company is his company. The submitter retains any and all rights to their submission.

See above.

He didn't make it, he made an unauthorized merger to "gain stocks" and steal the company from under Alicia's feet so she wouldn't be allowed to do anything with it. She put equal effort and he made a dick move

I'll reiterate this:
  • Person A submits company submission.
  • Company is approved.
  • Person A has full rights to the submission.
End of story. The submitter has all the rights to do what they want with their submission.

How is doing something in a fictional world to make my RPing experience more convenient "making someone's life bad?" Someone suffering personal loss or experiencing serious health conditions is someone's life being bad. Not something that happens on a forum.

[member="Gray Raxis"]

...you do realize myself and Alicia's writer worked something out last night and that the problem was rendered a non-issue, correct?

Eh, Vitor made Emiratus since its inception when it was called Subach. He literally build it up to something like T5, then got demolished to T1, build it back up again, got demolished and then rebuild it again - no matter how you look at it, Vitor shoved way and way more work into the company than Alicia ever did.

He made the company OOCly and ICly, he can do whatever he wants, until he OOCly transfers the company to someone else. Until that happens Vitor could even take all Alicia's shares and redistribute it the way he wants to... because its his OOC work.

All about those creative rights, yo.

Working something out now doesn't change what you did before. But it doesn't matter now that she has decided to pull out of the company and as was said the rights to it go to you. Its not like it effects me too much, but I have given my two cents on the issue already. I just think you should have been more considerate of how the OOC convenience would effect everyone else involved with the issue. Anyways, good luck with your RPs.

"Legal" or not legit or not this is not polite game play. I feel no pity about any enemies you Garner when you do business like this and no one ever will. Karma, she's a royal queen ain't she? No wonder your muse is dying when you treat people this way in a game or in real life. Serves you right. Polite business is good business and honey is sweeter than vinegar. If you'd quit acting this way you just might make a friend or two.

I know i am on slow posting but if i can help you in any way, Justice Shipping and our subs are at your services.

The situation was resolved. Myself and Alicia's writer have already worked out a deal. Continuing to white-knight for Vaz is pointless when he and I have already dealt with the problem. As for enemies - why would I gain 'enemies' over a minor situation that has been blown out of proportion?

Don't believe in karma. My muse is dying because the site has stopped becoming enjoyable for whatever reason. And who are you to know how I treat people in real life? Do you know me outside of this RP land? Have I shared details of how my life has been going with you? This game affects nothing in real life.

As for polite business - polite business is poor business. Cutthroat tactics have been used by many a company owner here on SWRP to advance their business agendas. Does it work that way in the real world? No, but again, this isn't the real world.

You're implying I've consistently done this and do not have any friends. That would be an incorrect assumption. Please stop jumping to conclusions with your unnecessary judgement of me when you know scarcely the slightest thing about myself.

"Creative Rights" is wrong when you willingly enter a partnership with someone ICly, then say "screw them" and kick them out, for absolutely no reason except you can, and will.

I couldn't care less if you made 10 different companies and built them all to max tier, then rebuilt them again to max tier, if you always did this shady, unreasonable, and cruel crap. If we went with your logic, there wouldn't even exist "Fair Use" acts.

Let me just ask you one thing. Just one thing. This is not a plea for sympathy, but it critically makes my point.

In the entirety of school, the entirety, starting in Kindergarten no doubt, I was a target of harassment of physical and sexual nature. I was shoved into water fountains, pushed into toilets, beat up, even stabbed once. It continued for two reasons: Teachers could never "catch proof" and my parents told me to never hit a person for any reason, and I not only obeyed but felt I should never have to hit a person, because I strived to be better.

Does all of that mean I have the god given right to kick their asses? Maybe I should go find them now, and beat them up? In my senior year, I fought back 3 times, the officers gave me a nod, the assistant principles waved away any pink slips (even ripping one up right in front of me), and the principle applauded me. The principle, who was forever in the same harassment situation as I was throughout his school years, freaking applauded me, and let me choose a punishment, which I said 1 day of in school suspension, and that was enough, for putting a kid in the hospital, who missed graduation.

None of what happened to me gave me the right to do that, even if it was in self defense. We shouldn't have to do such things. You should never throw someone under the bus just because you can. "Loopholes abound," because the way the Judges set it up, even if you give 90% ownership to someone of your company, as long as you created it (and still some sort of ownership position), you can just modify the submission and remove them from the list.

This is where OOC bullsh*t comes from, because of greedy, selfish and/or hateful people. This is where clique's come from, this is why the same bullsh*t is a continuing cycle. Maybe you were hit by the same crap, I don't know. But you know what? I've been hit with OOC crap as well, but boohoo, such is life. "Go cry me a river, such is life" etc, phrases made because people don't want to hear the whining anymore, phrases made because people have been abused so much that they have to complain so much that no one will listen to them. You were affected by people negatively, and decided to take it out on someone innocent. That is why I have a problem with this, because it touches home. I know the feeling, but I never ever want to force it on another.
