It's a cat-astrophe!
The only blessing Beth received was the bacta and kolto that he continually fed or applied to her. It at least helped with the pain, to a large extent, and while it healed her body slowly due to her genetic makeup, it was at least repairing the worse of the damage. Beth felt [member="Loreena Arenais"]’s hand, and she tried her best to hold it, to sit up. Regrettably, she winced. She noticed in her distance, slightly, [member="Tobias Dracks"]. Previous Vice Chancellor? Interesting…
She forced more of the kolto patches down. Although, she hated the taste and it really made her feel nauseous. The worst part, though, was how her ears rang. Her head spinned. It was like being drunk, but much, much worse.
At least Beth weighed fairly lightly, even with the twins. She was moved onto the stretcher, her face showing clear signs of pain. She glanced towards [member="Adenn"] Kraymud, “The babies,” she whispered. They were most important – and in truth, she would much rather die than lose them. How things changed so quickly. One moment she felt as though she hated the curse that had been brought to her, yet here it was all she could think about.
The mask helped her breathing – the sudden flow of fresh air was a clear relief as she relaxed more on the very uncomfortable stretcher. Although, Beth didn’t really even realize how uncomfortable it was. She was hurting so much anyway. And with the world still spinning, well, she knew she was moving but her sense of orientation was everywhere.
