Now, really what intrigues me is this mindless zombie controlling...would it be possible, say to bring one into the thrall system as a sleeper agent, and have them act normally till given a command?

Qazoi Kyantuska (Suppress Thought) to control living beings; Tsaiwinokka Hoyakut (Reanimated Dead) creates undead that spread their zombie-like state to others via infectious bite; Dwomutsiqsa (Summon Demon) creates a smoke demon, which is basically a dark side entity thrall; Mesmerism is a Nightsister technique which acts like Qazoi Kyantuska (but presumably requires less mastery of the force) and requires a tap on the forehead to workAshler said:

The only example of energy vampires was a force sensitive Jedi that fell. I'm fairly certain, by that character's wookieepedia entry, that those powers were derived from the force.

There are more mundane ways to mind control someone. Ysanne Isard's folks were particularly skilled in turning random individuals into assassins without their knowledge. Until they encountered the target, they behaved more or less normally. Once they ran into them, they went on a rampage and didn't stop until either the target was dead or they were.

Is this unique weapon or could these be bought regularly? It has a price but it doesn't really mention anything other than a rifle version being seen once, Solo using one, and trio using one. Sounds limited, but I could be wrong?
