I bite, but only because Force-rich blood was a racial requirement long before the Vampirism or Force Drain. Also... biting ish fun. :3
EV's don't need to bite. It can be touch. So far as I know, they don't pass on their condition either. If someone is essentially sucked dry, they become a mindless zombified thrall. This implies, at least in my opinion, the vampification might be some sort of ritual, such as with Sith Alchemy/Sorcery/Magic and what have you. If you think about what's-her-name from canon, being a countess, and just the general conditions of how the vampirism works, there are definite similarities. Sith Alchemy was the route I went with for Ashe, but also because she was never a vampire to begin with.
